When I thought GSW had a promising third quarter, I thought they'd have no problems closing it out, but the Suns immediately went on a run to take back the lead during the fourth quarter.

That 3rd quarter run was seriously impressive, but let's be real, the Warriors could've won this one. If Kuminga hadn't missed those 2 free throws, they'd have been feeling confident to close out the game. But man, CP3 had a rough night, going 4-15 on his shots. He took some crucial shots in the clutch moments, but they just didn't fall. I think he should stick to playmaking, especially when his shooting percentage has taken a dive. Leave the clutch shooting to Curry!

That's ok though, I mean we all know that CP3 has been a leader himself and will not be shy on shooting for critical shots. It's that it didn't fell this time and as you have said, very rough night for him and for the rest of the GSW.

He is already good at playmaking, maybe he was wanted to show something to his former team with those crucial shots. But still a good game for both of the teams and for sure there will be adjustments for the GSW. Take this as a experience in their first game for this season.

I haven't put a bet though, I was kinda busy today but I keep tabs of the score.

They'll probably make some adjustments in the next game, and CP3 won't consistently have such a poor shooting performance. I initially thought that home court advantage would be a big factor, but it doesn't seem to be. Nevertheless, the game is still entertaining to watch; it's like a playoff matchup where the team that's trailing always finds a way to come back. Perhaps the Warriors just ran out of gas after a huge 3rd quarter run, resulting in them losing the lead in the 4th quarter.

Sure, there are a few mistakes, but I can confidently say that the small ball lineup is working well. So, fellow bettors, I reckon we should put our money on the Warriors in the next game as they're bound to bounce back. They'll be up against the Kings on the road next time.

Grats man!
Thanks, i'm lucky to get away with that loss due to the promotion.  Grin

Tomorrow, i'm looking at the Celtics since they've prepared another similar promo, but this time, it requires two threes instead of one.

I have my trust for the Nuggets, but I'm leaning towards the Warriors on opening night. KD is undoubtedly great, but in this game, I think either team could win. What I'm considering here is the home court advantage, nothing else. Also, the noticeable line movement is interesting – it opened at 232 and is now at 235. I have a feeling this game could reach 250 points, so I'm betting on the over as well.
I agree, the value is on the Suns, but we can't underestimate the Warriors at home when they're one of the few good teams that won't simply drop a game at home.

Stake is also offering a good bonus on the opening matches. If they're the first team to make the three-pointer, it should be a sweat-free bet for us Warriors backers.

Good luck @ralle14, but it seems like the Suns are getting a good start... anyway it's still too early to tell though, you know, the Warriors are a good team, they know how to come back as they are good especially in the 2nd half. Booker has beeing GOATing early, Warriors should find a way to stop his hot shooting.

Edit: Curry with the first three to cash the bet.  Cheesy

Grats man!

Looks like @OgNasty is right on this one, first half is over and Suns have taken a 15 point lead.

Again, the rebounding department is the problem of the GSW, they have 24 only while Suns have 33.

I decided to toss up a little parlay to get some multi bet excitement going for tonight’s games. I got the Nuggets beating the Lakers and the Suns beating the Warriors. I think KD is going to come out like a man on a mission. Just to spruce things up a little bit more, I added in a Wilder win for this weekend’s boxing match up.

The never ending wait is finally over and we have something to cheer up for everyday yet again as far as the NBA is concerned, we have the Lakers vs Denver Nuggets which just tipped off a few seconds ago, I have the game on Over 225.5. as well as a couple of players props.

I could not pick a side because Jokic have been off anything basketball after the NBA finals, so I'm just going to enjoy the feeling of having NBA back going more into the mode from tomorrow, hopefully.

Good bet actually, Nuggets is a high scoring team and so is the Lakers, first quarter alone the Nuggets scored 34 points already.

I'm going for over 227.5, live betting at 1.75. Hopefully the torrent shooting will continue to the second half of the game. Nuggets building a huge double digit lead and it's time for the Lakers to do the catch-up so hopefully a high scoring game.

How well do.ypu all do betting preseason?  I find it crazy hard to figure out how to bet.  You have no clue who is even going to get court time.  Coach might want to figure out the back end of his bench and play the bench the whole game.  Not that I don't bet but for ke it's more a shot in the dark.  Any strategy?

Yeah, that's one reason why I didn't bet on the pre-season game and opted out to wait.

I'm liking the odds for the Lakers against the Nuggets +4.5 @1.87. Gonna be exciting game for sure, but I think the Lakers wanted to proved something this season and this is the game that they want to do it, against the defending champs.

Can't expect any exciting plays on pre-season that's why not good for me also to bet on that games. But since the season starting up for sure we can see here the real action that we wanted to see.

First game is exciting game since its like revenge game for Lakers for being get sweep by Nuggets last season. They really need to prove something especially that there's little feud happen on Nuggets parade and they don't like what Nuggets coach did to them at that time.

Nuggets lost their important pieces but let see if they can still able to dominate since their core still intact and they have the confidence since they are still the defending champion.

Here we go! Let's start our betting again!

I'd like to start with the favorites and perhaps my two favorite teams in this season too.

Ring night for the Denver Nuggets, this could boost their energy to play way better in the first game of their regular season. It's the first time the Nuggets get a championship so I am expecting them to be on top again by starting the season with a W.

Damn the base assists for Jokic is @9.5. It's going to be difficult to spot a good player's props today. But I will try it too for more flavor.
KCP 1+ steals / A. Reaves 1+ 3pt @1.75
I like this bro, and it's true, without Bruce Brown, KCP will handle the backcourt defense so he might get a few steals in the process.
How about Christian Braun? I think he can also get a few rebounds especially now that he will given more playtime minutes. I think he is the bonus that I am looking for because the stats used are still from the last season.

Good luck to everyone.

Happy NBA Opening Night, everyone!  Smiley

I had to have something on the Lakers/Nuggets WCF rematch to kick off the season! Obviously, it's the start of the season and there's no data to back my picks but i really like the following:

KCP 1+ steals / A. Reaves 1+ 3pt @1.75  won

I expect some sloppy passes/turnovers in the early half of the game, and KCP is perhaps the Nuggets' best perimeter defender now that B. Brown is not on the team. KCP had three steals in the Nuggets' final preseason game against the Clippers.

Reaves has somewhat cemented his spot in the Lakers' starting lineup, had a good playoff run last year (at least one three-pointer in 16/16 games), and performed okay at the WC earlier this year. He's made at least one three-pointer in each preseason game that he started, he'll get some good looks i'm sure.

Does anyone else have any plays on today's double-header?

Now I got my first loss on team picks but thankfully the Over 226.5 helped out to cover the loss.  Grin Saved.

Not well. I am kind of just playing around when it comes to preseason bets because anything could happen when the bench starts to heat up. Some of them do play well as this is their chance to be seen and maybe scouted too and have a better contract next year or after their contract ends.
Jonathan Kuminga did put his skills in the spotlight today.
It is hard to figure out who will win and my record now is 2-1 for team picks. I don't really want to waste too much money on this mode so I just pick some which I think will win, no stats looking or anything. Cheesy
My other two wins are from live betting during halftime but it's also just a lucky guess.
Sacramento Kings are now 0-3 on preseason, not that it's actually important. They will play against the Warriors again on October 18.
Later 4 more games. Suns versus the Trail Blazers one more time.

Well, I guess not many gamblers are betting for the preseason yet. It's fine because it's still risky.  Grin But I am positive they will be here once the regular season tip-off starts.

We have 6 games tomorrow I love to watch just one game per day. My pick for later will be the Sacramento Kings versus the Golden State Warriors.
The other games will be watched through game highlights only.  Cheesy

I'd like to make a bet just for fun.
Sacramento Kings - Golden State Warriors - Sacramento Kings @1.72 Not much, just to put some spice while watching the game.
The Warriors are also scoring huge numbers this season so I am betting for another one.
Over 226.5 @1.85
I just wish the Kings could win this one and also help hit the total over score.
Good luck everyone.
Been putting some preseason matches on a few accas I've had yesterday and over the beginning of the weekend and they seemed to go over on points.
Had GSW vs Lakers over 232.5pts and yesterday Jazz vs Trailblazers 221.5pts and those were well over what the bookies anticipated they would be. Think last nights ended up being 270+ for the total amount scored by both teams.

Thanks @stadus for the warm welcome back for the preseason and the new season starting!

Yeah! Let's go!!!

My first two wins in the pre-season!

I hope this is a good sign that lady luck will be on my side. The game was close but I still won, luckily.  Cheesy
The sad part is I missed the game of Washington Wizards versus the Cairns Taipans. They blew them out and I saw the odds yesterday like it was just -16.5 or something. That could've been a profitable game too.

Anyway, welcome back guys and I hope you share all your picks here in our thread. We have more preseason games, better get your wallets ready for the regular season is getting near.
