With only light betting during the week with the playin the playoffs are finally here.  Have to take a stab at all 4.

1) taking Philly at home -8.5
2) Hawks +9.5. Trey is a different dude in the playoffs between him and Murray they should be able to keep this close.
3) THEEEEE NY Knicks moneyline.  Yep Homer bet but I'm taking it.
4) and too much money coming in on the Warriors.  I'm taking the home team -1 kings.  Think GS takes the series but this will be a tough game.  Going against the grain.

Good luck everyone and enjoy!! Go KNICKS!!!

I wasn’t sure about the Knicks and the Knicks and Cavs but there’s no way I was going to bet against the Kings at home. I’ve spent too many years in Sacramento and I know that arena is going to be the hardest place the Warriors have to play in these playoffs. Everyone in that building is going to want to see the beam getting lit tonight.

Here are my picks for tomorrow's games,

Philadelphia 76ers VS Brooklyn Nets

The stake odds for this game are 1.27 for the 76ers and 3.95 for the Nets, right now the 76ers don't have any injuries while the Nets have Ben Simmons out of this season, for this game right now I am not really counting the Nets to get pass this and make it to the Play-offs they are here because on the starting games, they still got Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving back then but this time the 76ers will surely pulverize them,

Boston Celtics VS Atlanta Hawks

The stake odds for this game are 1.19 for the Celtics and 5.00 for the Hawks, Right now Danilo Gallinari can not play for the Celtics, while the Hawks don't have any injuries at the moment, so for this game, I am very sure this is a win for the Boston Celtics and because of the odds I am going to bet for Jason Tatum getting 30 plus points,

Cleveland Cavaliers VS New York Knicks

The stake odds for this game are 1.48 for the Cavaliers and 2.75 for the Knicks, right now Dylan Windler can not play for the Cavaliers, and Isaac Okoro is doubtful if he's able to play for the Cavaliers, while Julius Randle is doubtful if he can play for the Knicks so for this game I am pretty much convinced with the Cavaliers than with the Knicks making their way forward so my pick is the Cleveland Cavaliers,

Sacramento Kings VS Golden State Warriors

The stake odds for this game are 1.91 for the Kings and 1.93 for the Warriors, right now Matthew Dellavedova, can not play for the Kings, while Andre Iguodala can not play for the Warriors, I really think they need to release Iguodala for a better player going forward, but maybe this will be his last season or Iggy could be an assistant coach for the Warriors or even a different role than playing for the Warriors, right now I am surely siding with the 100% form Warriors now that Wiggins can play,

Not again!!!  Grin
I lost both my bets again expecting the lowest-seed teams to win their respective game and snatch the 8th spot. I was so wrong. Rudy Gobert's return made a huge impact on the Timberwolves.
Then, Miami Heat's Max Strus dropped 7/12 three-pointers which is very much different from his previous game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Worst, I lost all my over-score bets.  Cheesy

I will definitely get it all back this playoffs time. We have 4 games tomorrow. It's Time!!!
Philadelphia 76ers - Brooklyn Nets
Boston Celtics - Atlanta Hawks
Cleveland Cavaliers - New York Knicks
Sacramento Kings - Golden State Warriors

I think the first game will be snatched by the Warriors from the Kings' home. And that is the only upset that I am predicting to happen.

For tomorrow morning’s games I like the Philadelphia 76ers over the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics over the Atlanta Hawks. I don’t think either of these picks should be too much of a surprise as they are the favorites, but they seem like pretty safe bets to me. Just a few hours away now from the official start of the NBA playoffs.

What a great game in Miami. If you are a 90's NBA fan you will definitely enjoy it. Damn, that was a joyful game to me especially the defensive awareness by both teams. The lead was just going back and forth and I cannot even count how many tie games happened.
I said to the other thread that someone in the Chicago Bulls must step up his game, well 2 players did. Coby White and Andre Drummond. It was just sad that Drummond must be benched because they need to use Vucevic, but he had been doing a great job protecting the rim, offensive rebounds, putbacks, and defensive rebounds. It was automatic that he will get the ball whenever the Heat miss a shot.

Anyway, I lost both my Over 208.5 and the +7.5 for the Bulls but the whole 4 quarters was absolutely entertaining.
Next, Timberwolves vs OKC Thunder.

Yes, same here, I lost my bet on that game, damn, Bulls just collapses on the last 3 minutes of the game. And then Struss with clutch 3 and free throws, Jimmy Buckets providing the spark and then Hero's shot was that beginning of the end for the Bulls because at that time they are still leading by 1 point in the last 3 minutes and then they didn't score until that DeRozan's free throw.

So it will be Bucks vs Miami in the first round. Not sure how Miami though will go against the Bucks. Milwaukee has the depth and of course they have Giannis to lead them.

Next, Timberwolves vs OKC Thunder.

It was a low-scoring game, and I can't believe the Bulls didn't cover the spread. It was a close one, but in the remaining minutes of the 4th quarter, Butler did some magical things, scoring and sharing the ball, which gave them a comfortable lead that the Bulls couldn't come back from.

The defense was really great, and it was the kind of game that would entertain the crowd.

By the way, someone said that LaVine is inconsistent, and I believe that's true because he struggled a lot in this game, scoring only 15 points from a very bad shooting night.

It was a tight and entertaining game, and I loved to see the people confused who will be the winner at the end of the game. In my perspective, the Bulls lost began when Max Strus became hotter in the last 2 minutes and then there's Caruso who fouled Strus on the 3-point line which made the gap even wider.

Anyway, the Miami Heat proved to us big time that they aren't that weak and that they could still catch up with the other teams ahead of them. It looks like we will have an interesting 1st round games in the playoffs this time because big team with big names are also facing big teams with big names too.

Finally more games Smiley

Tonight I got the bulls in the money line here.  I just think the MOJO they got by winning in Toronto will carry over.  They will have to shoot better from the 3 but I like theor odds.

Then give me the wolves in this one.  Okc is the trendy pick but the wolves had so many things go wrong and they still almost beat the Lakers.  Taking the wolves and the spread.

Enjoy the games everyone tonight and good luck!

Miami is much better and how badly chicago played i think they cannot get more lucky then this. Miami has a perfect chance to win this match that should be easy for them. Im choosing Miami handicap im this match but Oklahoma match for me will be really close

T. Herro 20+ PR / J. Butler 5+ assists / N. Vucevic 20+ PRA @1.89  X

Herro led Miami in FG attempts against the Hawks with 23. He's had 20+ PR in 9/L10 games (excluding their last regular-season game). As things stand, he and Butler have been their most consistent scorers over the last month or so, averaging 20 and 5 in that span.

Since it's an elimination game i fully expect Butler to get heavy minutes again, could be 40+ if the game is close to the end. 9 assists against the Hawks, can't see he won't get at least 5 tonight as he is on the ball a lot. He's cleared the line in 7/L7.

Vucevic should routinely get over this line, he's done it in 7/L7 (excluding their last game of the regular season), covered in all three reg season games against the Heat this season. Bulls starters could see close to 40 mins as well.

Thanks, yeah, I'm thinking that +5.5 will be a good bet as the Bulls should carry their momentum against the Heat.

And we all know that the Heat is somewhat in bad shape mentally, and when teams have this kind of problems, their games suffered just like what happen in their last game. The line hasn't move that much, +5.5 is still 1.90 in my favorite sports bookies. They have at least 1 day rest so perhaps the energy will be there will team with they travel to South Beach.

Seems like everyone is betting on the Bulls, but I hope it's not a bad decision and that the Heat don't dominate tomorrow's game. Personally, I still trust the Bulls as they have proven they can win on the road, so let's be confident they'll have another win.

As for the total, is it too low? It's currently only 208.5. With good 3-point shooting, I think that can be achieved.

Can't blame them because the Chicago Bulls are indeed a safer bet instead of the Miami Heat because they aren't that reliable anymore and given that they are on the 8th seed means that they aren't that kind of team anymore who used to dominate the East and probably most of the teams in the league. Jimmy Butler isn't the usual Jimmy and that's evident enough to see because he's really struggling to carry the team and the rest of the squad is not that lethal anymore.

Yes, not just Jimmy, but Bam Adebayo as well, just seems to be reluctant to shoot the ball and content to just give a screen. As for Jimmy though, he has some games that he mentally takes over, but not against the Hawks.

Maybe he thinks that Lowry and Hero is going to take over after they make a great comeback in the 4th. But that's his usual time to be the one to lead the team, unfortunately, it was just a so-so performance for him. So yeah, riding also on the bandwagon for the Bulls to win against them.

Same with the Thunder, they are a young team, but SGA took the pressure in his shoulder, even making 2 free throws down the stretch.

So never underestimate them when betting.
Yes, credits for SGA for taking over that game and left the Pelicans in a speechless state because they got defeated by a young team that is supposed to be tanking this season as well,, but they upset the high caliber players of Pelicans and eliminated them from the play-in tournament.
If I'm not mistaken, they were listed as the underdogs on that game, but I chose to sit on it because I don't know whom to bet as I know it will be a tight game.

Later on, they will face the Timberwolves and the Thunders is again listed as underdogs. This will be interesting to watch and in the East side, it's the Bulls vs Heat.

I think Miami is just overrated because they are a team that is consistent in the playoffs. So, we haven't seen their struggles this season.

I hope they won't be too tired because they need to travel after the game, and the Heat are just fresh at home, practicing how to beat the Bulls.

If we trust the Bulls here, might as well another moneyline bet.

It did take a lot from the Bulls to win at the road, very hostile environment but they seems to be focus that night. Miami is playing again in their homecourt and if they lost this one, obviously it's time for them to rebuild. They haven't got close to the success when they went to finals in the bubble against the Lakers.

But if we look at the numbers, if I'm not mistaken, the Bulls has swept the Heat.

So that alone is a big factor in this game. So I will go with the Bulls +5.5 this early.

They need to rebuild, probably trade away stars like Jimmy because he hasn't been as good as he was before this season in terms of impact to the team. Bulls +5.5 should be a good value since they are coming off a huge win. However, the main concern here is, can they bring the same energy they showed in Toronto?

Thanks, yeah, I'm thinking that +5.5 will be a good bet as the Bulls should carry their momentum against the Heat.

+5.5 is decent knowing that Bulls are also a contender if all their stars and role players will play together and repeat that winning
momentum from Toronto, the chance to win will take place.

I also like that handicap as I notice that Heat is not playing in the same rhythm, something is not working with the chemistries around players.

Well, good luck if you already place a bet. Let see if how both teams will perform tomorrow.

I don’t know about this one… I think the Heat have a real advantage over the Bulls when it comes to Bam Adebayo. I don’t think the Bulls can match up with him and I think it will be a problem. Not to mention that experience is on Miami’s side. I would actually bet Miami to win this game, but I haven’t followed their team drama so maybe I’m out of the loop.

That I will take. Actually, I am going greedy mode adding one more point. Miami Heat - Chicago Bulls Total (Incl. Overtime) Over 209.5

I am kind of in the middle on this one. I want to trust the Bulls but the Heat can do some forcing here. I will just take the possible safest route.
Miami Heat - Chicago Bulls - Chicago Bulls (7.5) Joining the bandwagon for the Bulls but with a handicap. Just to be sure in case this ends in a close game which I think will probably happen.

Minnesota Timberwolves - Oklahoma City Thunder - Oklahoma City Thunder (5.5) This is a broken Timberwolves. Rudy Gobert questionable and also Karl Anthony Towns (but I do see both players in the props so they might play). Josh Giddey will probably have a monster game here again. A triple-double? Maybe?

Scary bets. Both for the away team. But who knows, they did it against the number 9, maybe they can repeat it against the number 8.
Good luck everyone.
