Took the night off and just enjoyed the Knicks beating the Celtics:)

Tonight I have 4 games I'm in on.

1) Boston +8 on road against cavs.  Taytum and horford are out and it's a second night of a back to back but I like them backdoor covering.
2)heat -2.5 at home against the Hawks.  Shoukd be a fun game to watch.
3) Denver-6.5 at home against the Raptors.
4) kings at home -5.5 against the Pelicans.

Good luck tonight everyone!

Did anyone here also watch the last Lakers vs GSW game?

I confess that I was surprised with the performance of the Lakers, AD as expected carried the team on his back, and that was clear, he scored 39 points!

Well, incredible as it may seem, even though the Warriors played with their full team (Curry + Thompson + Green), they lost to the Lakers.

I know this result is not expected, but I believe that, even though the Lakers have these problems in a general way, they can be a dangerous team, especially if LJ is there to guide them to victory!

That was quite surprising given that the Warriors manage to have a  4-0 run without Curry on the line but now that he is already back, that's where they got their win streak finished. Although, I didn't bet on that game but having that specific outcome was really unexpected even if the game was held at the Lakers homecourt. That doesn't change the fact that the Warriors is now complete and healthy, but it wasn't the case when they played with the Lakers.

Anyway, good for the Lakers because they needed that win so that they won't get buried at the current standing. They still got a chance but they need to thrive for it.

I also lost to the Warriors because I thought that they will continue what they started on their home court, but it seems like the road game struggle continues for them. I lost to the Magic as well because I thought that they will on their home against the Blazers, but they stole one on the road. On the other hand, I won against the Knicks, and the good thing is I went all in to them and bet twice at the first half and just before the start of the 1st overtime.
That's cool, bro.
Your bet is before the game and the other while they are up, right? I caught it while they are down by a lot, so I took advantage of the +10 since I knew the current record of them and they will try to keep the streak secured. Well, I was not wrong. I didn't even need the +10 but I just had to make sure as a gambler.  Grin

6 games later.
There must be upcoming news with the Boston Celtics as the handicap is +5.5 for them right now against the Cavaliers which we all know is unusual.
I think I am going to take advantage of this and take Cavs' bet even though Donovan Mitchell is announced as questionable to play.
Celtics might be exhausted.
Cleveland Cavaliers (-5.5) is my pick.

Indiana Pacers - Philadelphia 76ers - Philadelphia 76ers (-6.5) Tobias Harris and PJ Tucker are both questionable but Harden and Embiid can cover it, especially against the Pacers who are also playing back-to-back.

Detroit Pistons - Portland Trail Blazers - Portland Trail Blazers (-5.5) Dame badly needs this win to climb the ladder. I think Simons will play too.

Miami Heat - Atlanta Hawks - Miami Heat (-3.5) Miami at their home but I bet the Hawks will give them a hard time to take the W. I wish they can cover the spread.

Good luck guys.

Here are my picks for tomorrow's game,

Cleveland Cavaliers VS Boston Celtics

The stake odds for this game are 1.42 for the Cavaliers and 3.00 for the Celtics, for this game Donovan Mitchell is doubtful if he's going to play for the Cavaliers, while Robert Williams III and Danilo Gallinari can not play for the Celtics and Malcolm Brogdon is doubtful if he going to play, for me pretty sure the Cavaliers is an effective team that can surprise us because they can surely win, but the thing here is this is the Boston Celtics and right now Jaylen Brown can play along with Jayson Tatum, so my pick is the Boston Celtics,

Detroit Pistons VS Portland Trail Blazers

The stake odds for this game are 2.95 for the Pistons and 1.43 for the Trail Blazers, Right now Bojan Bogdanovic, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Jalen Duren can not play for the Pistons, and Rodney McGruder, James Wiseman, and Killian Hayes is doubtful if they can play for the Pistons, while Justise Winslow, and Ibou Badji, can not play for the Trail Blazers, and Jusuf Nurkic, Ryan Arcidiacono, and Anfernee Simons are doubtful if they can play for the Trail Blazers, for this game, there are so many injuries for the Pistons,  for this game, and the Trail Blazers might have some doubt but I think they will let those players play, so my pick is the Trail Blazers,

Miami Heat VS Atlanta Hawks

The stake odds for this game are 1.68 for the Heat and 2.25 for the Hawks, Right now Kyle Lowry, and Nikola Jovic, can not play for the Heat, and Kevin Love and Omer Yurtseven are doubtful if they can play for the Heat, while there are no injuries for the Hawks, for this game the Heat had some of the injuries well I really don't trust Jimmy Butler but Bam Adebayo maybe, but for this game, my pick is the Atlanta Hawks,

Sacramento Kings VS New Orleans Pelicans

The stake odds for this game are 1.47 for the Kings and 2.80 for the Pelicans, Right now Richaun Holmes and De'Aaron Fox are doubtful if he's going to play for the Kings, while Josh Richardson, Jose Alvarado, Larry Nance Jr., Zion Williamson, and E.J. Liddell can not play for the Pelicans, and Jonas Valanciunas is doubtful if they can play for the Pelicans, and because of this Pelicans has many injuries and so the Kings will surely shine in this game, so my pick is the Sacramento Kings,

Lost all three of my early picks.
The Warriors lost, Mavs lost, and the Bulls lost. Damn. Well, I have to chase my losses with the late games that were left and I got lucky.

That win against the Celtics on the road without Brunson covered my today's loss and got some profits as well. Randle is a good player, but the problem with him is the shot selection. He often shots very awkward or sometimes he often commit turnovers, but he's a good scorer just because he shoots too many, and I mean too many is that most of the time, it's more than 15 shots per game.

It was surprising how good the Grizzlies are playing even without Morant, Brooks, Adams, and Clarke. Tyus Jones somehow filled the hole. I'd be careful betting against them next time.
I don't think that they can play like this all the time especially that Adams and Clarke are out.
Clarke is out for the whole season because of the injury and Adams is still on the bench and not playing. I'm not pessimistic towards them, but when they will face those playoff contender teams, they might have a hard time winning on them.

Congratulations to all of the winners.

Thankfully, the Clippers come back in the 4th quarter was successful, the highest lead was 16 by the Grizzlies if I remember correctly and the Clippers just pushed harder to close the gap until the last minutes of the game. They won by 6 points thanks to Kawhi Leonard not giving up and of course the whole Clippers' defensive push.

Do you also watch some of the basketball games that you bet on? I have been betting on over / under for quite a while and the worst in Basketball is when you pick "under" and in the very last second the game ties and goes into overtime and your bet is in shambles because overtime counts towards the total. In basketball it is even worse than in any other sport because the probability for a game to tie is lower. In soccer you would expect a draw in the last minute or a goal that could happen. But overtime destroying your bet is annoying.

I have had it a couple of times when there was less then a second left on the clock and my bet was fine and then some lucky shot a la Steph Curry hit the basket and I lost. When you watch that game it feels like somebody punched you in the stomach! Cheesy

But if we are honest to ourselves that is also the fun about it. I mean losing is never fun, but when it gets close and you win it, it is even more enjoyable.

It is good to watch while you know you have a lock bet on a game that has given me the thrills whenever I am watching and that over/under kind of thing is not really my thing I am just bad at giving much attention so much with the bet when the game is on and instead of focusing more into the game you are focusing more on when to bet, and it is really hard to say for sure the total number of score the two teams would produce if you are not watching the game, I am lazy about that I just want to watch a game and focus more on the game and because some games will start differently or will be on the same time or another game will start for 3 mins, that is much work for me and yeah losing is no fun at all, but the thrill on a game over your bet is more enjoyable for me, well this kind of thing always happen and I was just unlucky this time my 2 previous bets was a hit and as the saying goes you win some and you lose some,

Exactly the reason why I don't usually wager on over/under because that specific option gives me an headache as it is real hard to predict if the total outcome will be over or under.

In soccer, it is somehow easier especially if the teams are not that good but in basketball, it is different because even a weak team can still produce a high scoring game and sometimes even a strong team can also produce a low scoring game.

That is why I mostly do spreads and moneyline because those ones are less stress for me.

Yup! that was it, It really gives me a headache that is my I haven't dealt a bet in over/under it is way harder to predict, and if you are watching the whole game while still thinking about when to bet I can never really enjoy the game that much because I am now focusing my bets than with the game itself, it is much stressful if it works for him then I am happy about it but where is the thrill in a bet when you not lose, surely it is a win and loses situation and certainly I don't really want to stress myself over it, and I am betting my extra money and not the money on my savings account so not to worry so much,

Dang! I was late in making my bet and fell asleep but maybe I will sit this one out, but still, last night's bet was really unpredictable and there was so much game that we expected to win that lost and vice versa, but this kind of thing is really normal  in gambling you will win some and you will lose some, but I will just enjoy the game in the comfort of my sofa,

Houston Rockets vs San Antonio Spurs
Houston Rockets (14-49) will host the visiting San Antonio Spurs (16-48) tonight at Toyota Center. This game is a tossup between the two teams but going with the home team seems to be a safer bet for me.
Spurs key injuries: Khem Birch (knee) out, Malaki Branham (back) questionable , Keldon Johnson (foot) questionable, Doug McDermott (thumb) questionable

Washington Wizards vs Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks (45-18) will host the visiting Washington Wizards (30-33) tonight at Capital One Arena. The Bucks are coming from a devastating loss against the 76ers but they should be able to win this match.
Bucks key injuries: Khris Middleton (knee) out
Wizards key injuries: Deni Avdija (stomach) questionable, Kyle Kuzma (knee) out, Monte Morris (back) out

Los Angeles Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies (38-24) will visit the Los Angeles Clippers (33-33) tonight at Crypto.com Arena. Ja Morant is not suiting up for the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. The Clippers will take this chance to end their losing skid since Russel Westbrook suited up for them.
Clippers key injuries: Norman Powell (shoulder) out

In fact LeBron James is injured, and will be sidelined, this is terrible for the Lakers, as LJ is the team's guide.
But I saw on a website that LeBron James could play again, even though he was injured, he could participate in regular season games to help the Lakers.
LeBron does not need to undergo surgery, so most likely, he will be back soon, as his team really needs him.

Well, regarding the Lakers x Timberwolves game, it was extremely clear that AD is an excellent player, even though he was playing without LJ, he managed to play his basketball and help the team significantly.
Schroder wasn't able to score like in the previous games, but on the other hand, Schroder had 12 assists, most of which went to AD.

Look, I believe that without LJ the Lakers are unlikely to make the playoffs.
But for the team to get a seed, AD and especially the other players will have to play extremely well to fill the absence of LJ

Yes, AD is unstoppable, but the Lakers cannot rely too much on him, as that will only put him in an injury-prone situation again. Without LeBron, this team will not make it to the playoffs, but once he is back, I think there's still a chance, as they have been playing well so far since Westbrook got traded. It's just sad that LeBron has been out for a while.
Well, LJ's situation is not extremely serious, but he needs to be away for recovery, I also agree that the team needs him, because he is the reference player for the team and I have no doubts that he makes a big difference for the team. lakers

By the way, for a while I even forgot that the Lakers are playing now, and oddly enough the Lakers are ahead of the Warriors by 3 points (91-88)

AD is carrying the Lakers on his back, and he's already scored 31 points.

Anyone else following this game?

Magic vs Portland - Orlando -1.5 @1.82, gonna be fun to watch this game as both teams needed a win

Yes, it doesn't require any surgery as it's not that actually serious to undergo in any medical operation but his injury which is a tendon injury in his right foot is also a serious one. The Lakers will re-evaluate him again in the next 3 weeks and given that time frame, LeBron might not be back to finish the rest of the games in regular season.

Well, regarding the Lakers x Timberwolves game, it was extremely clear that AD is an excellent player, even though he was playing without LJ, he managed to play his basketball and help the team significantly.

I guess that is the predicament they are facing right now because if they rely heavily on AD, he might get injured in the long run and their efforts will be in vain even if they manage to qualify for the play-in. What they have to do is to divide the load, not that equally but just help AD from carrying the team and that means that they should step up their game.

Exactly surgery or not 3 weeks is a long time it's the last quarter of the season and that's a big chunk of it.  By the time he gets reevaluated it might be too far gone.  He's old for basketball too so any injury like this might be a nagging one.  I'd shut it down if I were him.  Focus on next year this squad ain't doing anything anyway

Quoted all of those who like me, put their bets on the Bucks just right now, and saying that "We Lose Our Bets". Cheesy  Cheesy
Not a good day for me, and to some here as well.

Surely It was a close game the Bucks were really winning in the 3rd quarter but the 76ers have transient and gone from not getting the lead into leading the game, and it was a game where my luck had run out because all of my bets right now has lost, for sure all of my other bets aswell was pretty much close aswell, both got a great spread and both teams was really equal in their footing, but I was surprised because Giannis Antetoukoumpo have played in this game but they still lost,

My luck runs out all bet was lost as well but surely I am not upset because I got a good winning in the UFC because of Alexa Grasso so I am pretty much very positive right now, but seeing all my bets on NBA like these, I think I think to rest again, but right now I will post my picks later for tomorrows games,

Washington Wizards VS Toronto Raptors SCORE 109 - 116 - LOST

Miami Heat VS Atlanta Hawks SCORE 117 - 109 - LOST

Milwaukee Bucks VS Philadelphia 76ers SCORE 130 - 133 - LOST

Sacramento Kings VS Minnesota Timberwolves SCORE 134 - 138 - LOST

Tomorrow, we have some early games. The first game is an exciting one, as it's the rivalry between Phoenix and Dallas, but both teams have added a superstar. It's Booker vs Luka, and former teammates Irving and Durant will be playing against each other.

I'm kind of confused why Dallas is only -1. I guess Phoenix is the better team.

Yup, that is an exciting one to see and the game will commence in like 2 hours from now as the Suns will visit the Mavs @ American Airlines Center.

Two former Brooklyn Nets stars will face each other as they are now in different teams, this will be fun.

About the odds, not that interesting and besides, I'm having a hard time choosing between the two teams.

It was really a good defense by Joel on me, maybe trying to send signals to Giannis as well even if they are on the road.
It's an overview of how fun the East Finals will be if ever they will meet.

That's 2 AM our time. I don't think I will be able to watch this so I am also putting my early bets. About the spreads, I think it's because Ayton is questionable to play plus Dallas Mavericks won big time against a strong 76ers last time which means their star duo is starting to create a bit of chemistry.
Then, it's their home.

Dallas Mavericks - Phoenix Suns - Dallas Mavericks ML - It's a risk but I am a bigger fan of Luka than KD so this pick is kind of a biased one.  Cheesy
Chicago Bulls - Indiana Pacers - Chicago Bulls (-6.5) Chicago Bulls are on a rough road, they are not consistent with their wins. They badly need this one and Haliburton of the Pacers is questionable to play.
Los Angeles Lakers - Golden State Warriors - Golden State Warriors (-4.5) Warriors on a good 5th winning streak. I guess they should continue this streak and take a safe spot for the playoffs. Mavs and Twolves are still on their tail.
Heads up: Steph is back!

Good luck guys.
