What's more, if LeBron comes back, they will definitely be a playoff-ready team.

We are expecting that to happen because they are missing their best players, yet they continue to win. The good thing with the Lakers in betting is that they are underrated, so you'll get great odds betting on them. The next game will be against the New York Knicks, which is a tough challenge, but they are playing at home, so I believe they can still win.

By the way, the Lakers are now in the top 9 with a 7-3 record in their last 10 games and are on a 3-game winning streak.

Timberwolves should be an easy win vs the very shorthanded Brooklyn Nets right ? That should be an easy call for me as well, unless there are certain development within the next 3-4 hours.
Sadly, it was not an easy win for them. Brooklyn Nets is really strong, they can easily find someone who can step up and score for the team.
I have already given up at the regulation while the Nets have a three-point lead but Naz Reid saves them and sinks in a long-distance shot to put the game into overtime.
But even after that, Dinwiddie keeps on attacking which leads to opening shooters. Bridges and Finney-Smith. A big mistake by Rudy Gobert to help Anderson in the paint, he should've stayed in his station. The face of frustration is written over Kyle.

1/2 for my early bet. Twolves lost and the Hawks covered the spread.
I got a late bet for the Lakers.

Should've taken the ML. I am still building my trust in them.  Cheesy

That Spurs game was a crazy upset. Should’ve put something down on them I guess. I think the odds were 7 to 1. All the other games tonight have been really close down to the wire games. A good night for exciting NBA basketball. I just wish the Nuggets didn’t lose. Smiley

A crazy upset indeed, I couldn't pictured that.

Minnesota also falling short the Brooklyn Nets in overtime is another loss in my dictionary, I expected the Nets to be without most of their stars and starts with a line that include the likes of Patty Mills and Royce O'neale with Cam Thomas, the game ended pretty close too.

It's also very close between the Lakers and Toronto Raptors with 8 minutes to play for in the 4th Quarter, I must agree that all today games have been pretty much interesting to see, with no heavy blowouts from first quarter or first half.

The Lakers continue to amaze us. The Raptors are a pretty decent team, yet the Lakers beat them. When Davis wasn't scoring his usual points, it wasn't a problem as Russell and Schroder were there to carry the team. They are now a different Lakers team, with someone from the roster able to step up and win. What's more, if LeBron comes back, they will definitely be a playoff-ready team.

What's more surprising?
Nuggets got defeated by the Bulls on their last game before this, or the Nuggets got defeated by the Spurs? Just a poll because TBH, both of them are surprising. Cheesy

Anyway, I will not bet on the Spurs winning on this one even I watched the whole game, but maybe I'll put a bet on the spread. Still, the Nuggets lost to a bottom seeded team twice (I mean teams who are out of the play-in tournament), and this is the 5th time in the season where they lost 2 consecutive times.

On other games, I managed to have some time and put my bet on the Lakers and luckily I won. Anunoby and Barnes carried the team scoring 31 and 32 points and with high efficiency as well, but Russel, Reaves, and Schroeder carried the Lakers to the victory scoring 69 of the total 122 points. The Lakers' bench points is the main key why they won on this one. Raptors' bench scoring is only 12 while the Lakers got 61. Western Conference teams must watch out for the Lakers because they are coming. They are one game below .500, and only 1.5 games behind the 5th seeded Clippers.

I took advantage of the 76ers slow start to get a bet in with some decent odds. Hopefully they make a come back as it isn’t looking so great right now. I couldn’t resist getting in a couple of good parlays with those odds though. Hoping Denver pulls off an easy win tonight as well or else all my bets for the night are going to be toast.

Smart move mate! The 76ers still won the game after having a slow start in the first two quarters and it was a thrilling end where the Blazers manage to have the lead in the final minutes but even with their tight defense, Joel Embiid made his fade away shot before the regulation ended.

Final Score: Sixers 120 - 119 Blazers

I surely hope so too because we have the same situation Grin Currently, the Spurs is advancing since the 2nd half commenced and have the lead with 3 minutes left on the clock.

I think Phoenix is still the team to beat though if KD can stay healthy.  Crazy how injuries have become such a major role in today's NBA.

It makes me wonder why some franchise still settle for old veterans who are more prone to injures for potential players with more than 4-5 years experience in the league with great shape and very healthy, If KD comes back at some point in the regular season, I really don't know how much the Suns can rely on him to remain healthy for the post season, but guys Mikael Bridges and Cameron Johnson are no where near KD, but the big question mark is if he's healthy, meanwhile Bridges and Cam Johnson have been significant for Nets since they joined, the results might not have looked great but these are guys that you can build the future of a franchise around, I wonder what would have been of the warriors in the past decade without Steph and Klay to build a team pieces around.

I've been away for a while, but I'm active again!

I confess, I'm a surprised by the result of some games and that's a fact, day after day the games are very competitive and several teams want a seed in the playoffs.

It's incredible, the performance of the Lakers in these last few games, literally AD is carrying the team on its back!
I have no doubt that he could be the go-to player for the Lakers when LJ is absent.

Lately I'm betting a little bit, because I'm having difficulty to "hit" some bets.

Agreed this year has probably been my worst year in terms of day to day.  I'm still weary on the Lakers.  I got dough against them most of the time they are constantly over bet just like the yankees in baseball (and I'm a yankees fan).  Just look at their nba championship odds, they are like 10th right now and might not even male the playoffs lol.  It's always an easy bet year in year out.

I'm still not all in on betting on the Lakers yet even after their recent performance either.  They've burned me too many times with false hope now.  When LeBron comes back from his injury, if they take it to another level and start beating really good teams without injured star players then I might start getting excited for the playoffs.  I think Phoenix is still the team to beat though if KD can stay healthy.  Crazy how injuries have become such a major role in today's NBA.

Here are my picks for today's game all of these 4 bets are against the odds or all underdog when it comes to odds, so take it with a grain of salt,

Washington Wizards VS Atlanta Hawks

The stake odds for this game are 2.00 for the Wizards 1.85 for the Hawks, right now both teams, don't have anyone listed with injuries or players that can not play for now, last game the Atlanta Hawks won the game despite Kristaps Porzingis getting a career-high of 43 points the Hawks just shows great numbers with their spread right now it is a close game so I am taking the risk and will bet for the Washington Wizards,

Miami Heat VS Cleveland Cavaliers

The stake odds for this game are 1.78 for the Heat and 2.09 for the Cavaliers, right now Duncan Robinson, and Kyle Lowry can not play for the Heat, and Kevin Love is doubtful if he can play for the Heat this time, while Darius Garland is the one that is doubtful if he can play for the Cavaliers, and for this game just like the 1st game I think I will bet against the odds, so making my Cleveland Cavaliers pick, and this is another close game that may happen,

Minnesota Timberwolves VS Brooklyn Nets

The stake odds for this game are 1.56 for the Timberwolves and 2.49 for the Nets, right now Jaylen Nowell and Karl-Anthony Towns can not play for the Timberwolves, and Austin Rivers is doubtful he can play for the Timberwolves while Ben Simmons can not play for the Nets, looks like I want to ride another against the odds game, despite seeing a Nets without Ben Simmons they still have a chance against the Timberwolves that are now an inconsistent team, and this is their 1st game facing each other without Irving and Durant, so I am going with the Brooklyn Nets,

Los Angeles Lakers VS Toronto Raptors

The stake odds for this game are 2.19 for the Lakers and 1.72 for the Raptors, right now Mo Bamba, and LeBron James can not play because of injuries D'Angelo Russell and Anthony Davis are both doubtful if they can play for the Lakers, while Will Barton is doubtful because of illness if he's going to play for this game, right now Fred VanVleet is struggling to get his scoring or shooting touch, this could still happen with this game and I really don't want to go with the Lakers this time because Lebron James can not play and D'Angelo Russell is doubtful but I think D'Angelo Russell will play a crucial role with this game and may play a couple of minutes, so risking my bet against with the Los Angeles Lakers,

No nationally televised games tonight, but there are a couple of lopsided match ups that might be worth betting on for a small win. The 76ers should be able to beat the trailblazers, and the nuggets should be able to beat the spurs no problem. Neither of those bets should pay much but they’re pretty safe bets. Might be good to combine some parlays.

Miami Heat vs Cleveland Cavaliers is going to be televised on ESPN here, and that would have been my game of interest except for the fact that Miami Heat players doesn't really interest me these days.

Darius Garland would be unavailable for the match as far as I can tell, but then I would still fancy my chances with Cavaliers ML @ 2.1 Odds

Thanks for the tip, I might do a parlay on that.
Nuggets lost badly against the Chicago Bulls in their last game. I bet they want their revenge here in San Antonio and will do it in a blowout.
The once team who is very dominant in terms of defense are now one of the worst right now at least in the road. I wonder how they are performing very well in their home, but very awful on the road. I guess the absence of Wiggins and Kuminga affects the team. Both of them are good wing defenders especially Wiggins and with both of them out, it might be hard for Green to do it all.
I don't see that energy on the defensive end yesterday. Yeah, maybe they need Wiggins back but there's no time span given on how long his "family matters" will take. All we can do is hope it can be soon. The Warriors are in a bad rank right now. Tied with Mavs and Twolves at the 6th spot. There's a chance they will be in the play-in tournament again if they cannot win their next games.

6 games.
Washington Wizards - Atlanta Hawks - Atlanta Hawks (-2.5) I bet both teams will play really hard. Hawks trying to climb more at the 6th spot while the Wizards securing their position while being tailed by the Bulls.
Minnesota Timberwolves - Brooklyn Nets - Minnesota Timberwolves (-3.5)

I will get 1.42 for a parlay bet. Well, I guess it's safe, but sometimes the Trail Blazers could also pull off a surprise. They are not a bad team like the Spurs this season. All I am worried about is, what if Lillard has a lights-out game and breaks his 71 points this season?

Legitimate concerns for sure. Portland is definitely more likely to win a game then the Spurs and the Trailblazers are in the playoff hunt so they’re motivated. Dame has also been playing amazingly the last couple months. The 76ers have been playing well too though and are a much more stacked team.

This is Philly's first home game after a successful road trip with 4 wins in 5 games. I don't know, but I have a feeling that the Trail Blazers might pull off a surprise. If the road team doesn't improve their defense, then we will likely see the same outcome as their game against the Boston Celtics.

Quote
Even if Dame does have a great game, it’s Philly’s play that will determine the winner.
I'm looking at the team's defense, as they are a great defensive team.

Anyway, here's some good news for the Trail Blazers, though.

Portland Trail Blazers starting shooting guard Anfernee Simons has been upgraded to questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In even more positive news, Jusuf Nurkic, who returned for his first game against the Boston Celtics last night, is off the injury report for the game.

EDIT: Warriors from being down 4, have went back to being down to a 18 point deficit at halftime, but then is it what risking the ML on Warriors @ 4.57

The struggle continues for the Warriors. It should have been their best chance to win since Morant was out, but it turns out the game was completely one-sided, with Memphis dominating them. Well, I guess the best strategy now is to never stop supporting the Warriors until they break their losing streak. Their best chance to win is at home, regardless of the betting spread.

In their next game, they'll be back at home with enough rest, but take a look at the team they'll be playing against: the Bucks, which is currently the hottest team. So, I guess it's going to be a huge challenge for them. However, I like the situation they are in since they are playing at home and against a good team. It's definitely a moneyline situation.

The home court advantage is mostly the strength of the Warriors,

Maybe it's tough to judge if how they will perform against the Bucks, knowing that the team is really something that
tough to handle.

Especially if all the players are doing great with the core starting 5 that's very competitive. Warriors needed to find that
rhythm to start winning games.
