^ No pick for the Suns game? With no LaMelo Ball out there and Durant added to the Suns I think that should be an easy win for Phoenix. Hopefully Durant plays and finds his way into the offense without things being too sloppy. If so, they should easily beat the Ball-less Hornets. A shame for the Ball family that both LaMelo and Lonzo are currently out with injuries.

Here are my picks for today's game

Detroit Pistons VS Chicago Bulls

The stake odds for this game are 2.90 for the Pistons and 1.43 for the Bulls, right now Isaiah Stewart, and Jalen Duren can not play for the Pistons, and Bojan Bogdanovic, and Isaiah Livers, are doubtful they can play for the Pistons, while Javonte Green can not play for the Bulls, for this game we all know the record of the Pistons, while the Chicago Bulls doesn't have many injuries and surely I think that the Bulls could win this so my pick is the Chicago Bulls,

Miami Heat VS Philadelphia 76ers

The stake odds for this game are 2.10 for the Heat and 1.78 for the 76ers, Right now Kyle Lowry, Omer Yurtseven, and Nikola Jovic can not play for the Heat, and Max Strus and Kevin Love are doubtful if they can play for the Heat, while Dewayne Dedmon can not play for the 76ers, for this game the Miami Heat had many injuries than the 76ers, for me, there is a huge possibility for the 76ers winning this game so my pick is the 76ers,

Boston Celtics VS Cleveland Cavaliers

The stake odds for this game are 1.48 for the Celtics and 2.75 for the Cavaliers, Right now Danilo Gallinari, can not play for the Celtics and Mike Muscala is doubtful if he can play while the Cleaveland Cavaliers doesn't have any injuries, for this game I really don't want to underestimate the Cavaliers, but right now because the tandem of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown can play my pick is the Boston Celtics,

Milwaukee Bucks VS Orlando Magic

The stake odds for this game are 1.33 for the Bucks and 3.50 for the Magic, Right now Wesley Matthews is doubtful if he can play for the Bucks, While Jonathan Isaac is doubtful as well on the side of the Magic, for this game I think that Giannis Antetokounmpo can now play but can he be 100% better, maybe he can but I think they will not force Giannis to hurt himself again, but my pick is the Milwaukee Bucks,

But for the Nuggets -10.5 - I got almost no doubt for them to win against the Rockets. Adding to that, Warriors -4.
Nice early picks you won there. Congratulations.
2/3 for my own early picks.
Grizzlies somehow covered the -10.5 thanks to Ja Morant going hot in the 3rd quarter, breaking his own career record with 28 points in just one quarter. Damn Monster.
Nuggets covered the spread too without a problem.
Brooklyn Nets lost against the Bucks. It's a bit sad because they had a good 10-point lead and preserved it for quite some time. But the Bucks are just too much for them. Cam Thomas seems hesitant to shoot too. Coach Vaughn was already shouting at him to shoot the damn ball and yet he waited for the defense to come.

I got lucky with a bet builder for the Golden State Warriors versus Portland Trail Blazers game. Flexing it.  Grin

How's your bets? Anybody coming out with profits today? Cheesy.

"Yes, but not much. I fell for the Dallas Mavericks bet again. I thought they would win by a good margin since they had already tasted victory when both Kyrie and Luka were playing. However, this game they went back to their old struggles, which cost me money. It's hard to trust this team. The good thing is that I won my Kings and Nuggets bet.

Any surprise by the Lakers taking the halftime lead?

Or anyone here willing to make a bet for them at ML currently at 2.60?

And also the Nets taking a 10 point lead against Giannis lead Bucks and the winning streak is on the line tonight against a new Brooklyn team.

Memphis Grizzlies were sloppy during the first half so it wasn't really surprising that Lakers were to take a slight advantage, Grizzlies are in a much comfortable lead now with 9 points heading into the 4th Quarter, I didn't take the bet and I really wouldn't have considered it a worthy bet imo though.
It wasn't the Grizzlies only that was sloppy on the first half, but got the victory.

I thought that Giannis will not play on the Bucks tonight, but he played and just dominated against Claxton and the whole Nets team as if he didn't have any right hand injury at all. He scored 33 points and got 15 rebounds on only 28 minutes of playing. The Nets can't protect their double digit lead in the 1st half, and got destroyed in the 2nd half scoring only 42 points against 66 from the Bucks.

Aside from the Bucks, the Warriors as well had a double digit deficit after the 1st half, but they dominated the 2nd half and got the victory on their home. Fans are happy, I'm happy, Coach Kerr is happy, players are happy. I wonder why Coach Billups didn't make any adjustments on the 2nd half.

Anyway, here are the results of my bets.
Toronto Raptors - Chicago Bulls - Chicago Bulls - LOST
- The Bulls had it and got the lead, but I guess they ran out of gas thus, losing to the Raptors on the road. Good game still

Oklahoma City Thunder - Sacramento Kings - Sacramento Kings - WIN
- The Kings got a double digit lead in the 1st half, but the Thunder are able to make some small runs on it. One time, they are tied at the 8 minute mark of the game and after that, the Kings just dominated the Thunder thus, winning the game on the road. Good win for me as well.

Brooklyn Nets - Milwaukee Bucks - Brooklyn Nets - WIN
- I really thought that the Nets can break the streak of the Bucks knowing that they are up double digits after the first half, but I was wrong. Giannis just dominated the whole Nets team, and my risky bet lost.

Golden State Warriors - Portland Trail Blazers - Golden State Warriors - WIN
- I already put a bet here before the game and while watching it, I again put another bet on them so I put 2 bets on the Warriors, and I didn't regret it like their last game where I bet to the Timberwolves. Lucky, lucky.

How's your bets? Anybody coming out with profits today? Cheesy.

L. Markkanen 20+ points / Kessler 2+ blocks / THT 4+ assists @1.75  X

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, so i'm sticking with my Markkanen/Kessler combo for their second consecutive game against the Spurs. Kessler dominated the glass, leading both teams in rebounds and blocks, while Markkanen led both teams in scoring and field goal attempts. I'm expecting more of the same today. Since Clarkson is out and the Jazz don't have many guards available, i'm adding Horton-Tucker's assists. THT is averaging 6.4 assists /L7 and has covered 4+ assists in 7/L7.

Sad to say but the Utah Jazz lost the game it was really a close game but the San Antonio Spurs just got a great spread than the Jazz did and Jordan Clarkson and Ochai Agbaji were added to doubtful if they can play the game, and they didn't play for today's game, for me if Jordan Clarkson along with Lauri Markkanen could be playing the big spread of points will surely be on those 2, but surely this means that the San Antonio Spurs just have the upper hand when it comes to their spread of points, but at least you got your bet correct,

Even though they got the 3rd quarter against the Memphis Grizzlies, it was not enough, and because Lebron James and D'Angelo Russell didn't play for this game the Lakers had a rough time in keeping up with the Grizzlies, for the next game against the Oklahoma Thunders maybe they will have a chance in winning, against them even though Lebron James and D'Angelo Russell can not play for tomorrows games

D. Schröder 10+ points / D. Schröder 6+ assists / M. Beasley 1+ steals @2.40  won

This should be a lot of fun! Yall remember their last game, Shannon Sharpe's courtside altercation with Grizz players, and the Lakers' fourth-quarter comeback win. I've already got my popcorn ready! It's no surprise that this game is the headlining TNT's double header tonight.

With Bron and DLo out, D. Schröder is the one who has to carry all of the Lakers' playmaking duties, 10 and 6 ain't nothing. He had 25 and 12 in his last game without LeBron (vs. Bucks). As a Laker, Malik Beasley averages nearly two steals per game, i expect him to get at least one today and extend his perfect streak.

You probably couldn't have won any bet more easily on the Lakers this season than this right ?, I mean you wouldn't have a much worries about the bet as  Beasley had his first steal before halfway into the first quarter, all left was Dennis Schroder and he didn't fail you, just a couple of minutes in the 3rd your bet had been won already, nice one mate, you've got em' on this one!

Thanks for the heads up mate and for your early bets as well.

Please let me tail you for the Celtics -2 and Sixers -5.5 bet because I got a feeling that the Celtics can still manage even without Brown on the lineup as there are still other reliable guys on their roster that will be present on the floor later and for the 76ers, I believe they can manage facing the Knicks and will bounce back from the decent they got in the last game.

Unfortunately, all of my picks failed me so sorry about that I might be lucky the other day but yesterday's game was not for me it happens all the time when you anticipate that team to win they will not, I should have bet for the Miami Heat because Jaylen Brown couldn't play and The New York Knicks doesn't have any injuries I might have underestimated them so much,

Now here is the devastating result from yesterday's game I am taking a break from betting for now,

Philadelphia 76ers VS Miami Heat SCORE 99 - 101 - LOST

I can't imagine the 76ers losing this but the match was really a close game and Jimmy Butler is doing his all by gaining the momentum yeah the Heat got a great spread in making a lead, and Max Strus, and Bam Adebayo both got 13 points, Gabe Vincent got 14 points and Jimmy "Buckets" Butler has a double-double of 11 rebounds and 23 points winning the game,

New York Knicks VS Boston Celtics SCORE 109 - 94 - LOST

In another close game, Boston Celtics don't have Jaylen Brown but I still not anticipated them losing I surely am underestimating the New York Knicks so much, but it was a close game both teams had a great spread so I can not argue on that Jalen Brunson got 17 points, while Immanuel Quickley and Julius Randle both got 23 points

New Orleans Pelicans VS Orlando Magic SCORE 93 - 101 - LOST

So much for the underestimated team I surely don't regard Orlando Magic made it to the playoffs that are why I never bet for them but not having Zion Williamson is a great loss for the Pelicans but it was a close game for these two teams,

1/3 for me.
Pelicans also lost their game against the Orlando Magic. They may also be trying to pave their way for a play-in spot.
With Zion, they are a top team, but without him, they are just an average player.
They are now on a 4 game winning streak and also they are 2 games below 500 already. The once top seed on the start of the season are now on the last spot of the play-in tournament.

One player out because of injury already has a huge effect to the team. Anyway, they need to get wins right now to at least get to a play-in spot before Zion comes back. If Zion will come back, and they are on the play-in tournament, I think they can get the 8th spot at best.

Here are my bets for tomorrow's ballgame:

Toronto Raptors - Chicago Bulls - Chicago Bulls
- With how the Bulls are playing in their last 2 games and with DeRozan coming back, I think they can steal one on the road. Just let Lavine and Derozan do the scoring, and Caruso and Beverley will do the defend.

Golden State Warriors - Portland Trail Blazers - Golden State Warriors
- I already made a mistake by not betting on them against the Timberwolves on their home. Now I will not making that same mistake again. Cheesy The Warriors have one of the best home records right now and with how they played on their last game, I think they can still do it again even without Wiggins and Green (probable).

Oklahoma City Thunder - Sacramento Kings - Sacramento Kings
- SGA is ruled out on this game, but on the other hand Fox is questionable, but weighing how impactful it is if both of them aren't playing on their respective teams, I think the Kings can still get a win on the road. They still have pieces like Sabonis, Monk, Huerter and Murray to get the win.

Brooklyn Nets - Milwaukee Bucks - Brooklyn Nets
- I just don't want to say too much on this bet of mine. I just felt for a second that the Nets might break the winning streak of the Bucks. Well, the chances of me being wrong is high knowing how good the Bucks are playing right now, but I just took a risk and will not regret if I lost to it. Smiley

Good luck to all of us  bettors.

Yeah I agree with you on the assesment of the Chicago Bulls.  Ever since signing Patrick Beverly they've looked like a bit different of a team.  Sure they only played two games so far and they played against some not so great teams, but the way they played I feel like says more than who they played.

Yeah when it comes to the Bucks vs the Nets, at this point I think Giannis could beat the Nets all by himself lol.  I have no faith in the Nets moving foward.

I just bumped on this article:
Quote
Just as the Lakers seem to be building some momentum with a three-game winning streak, with their stars shining and the new additions playing their part, James looks set to be in for a spell on the sidelines.
Multiple reports say the 19-time All-Star could miss several weeks, but is awaiting further tests to determine the full extent of the injury.
https://edition.cnn.com/2023/02/28/sport/los-angeles-lakers-players-qualify-nba-spt-intl/index.html

I guess it's now all on AD because LeBron might not be able to play for quite some time as the injury on his foot is not that good. After their win against the Mavs recently, LeBron's video showing that he's having a hard time walking has been circulating in almost sports media outlet. This is a big challenge for the Lakers especially now that they are chasing more wins to at least participate in the Play-In.
I sniffed about this news somewhere on social media too. So I guess it was real. I won't be expecting too much from the Lakers from now on. We should see first if they could handle the team without their captain.
Grizzlies might have an easy time winning their game later against the Lakers.
So, Memphis Grizzlies - Los Angeles Lakers - Memphis Grizzlies (-10.5) - Yes, it's too obvious. The only thing we should worry is if the spread will be covered.
Brooklyn Nets - Milwaukee Bucks - Brooklyn Nets (6.5) - Call me crazy, I want to see the Brooklyn Nets win a game. This is an emotional pick so it is not recommended.  Cheesy Giannis probable to play.

Houston Rockets - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-10.5)

Will add late games bet later.
Good luck guys.

You got an interesting early picks right there my friend. I don't know about you guys but I'm surprised and surely didn't expect the results of the game today where most of the underdog has won their respective games. Kudos to them because that wasn't an easy game for them.

For the Lakers vs Grizzlies, I will just sit on that game for now as the spread is quite high for me and I can't really predict which team will bring a W. The same with the Bucks vs Nets match-up, I might just bet on it live.

But for the Nuggets -10.5 - I got almost no doubt for them to win against the Rockets. Adding to that, Warriors -4.

It's true. All teams are going to try harder to secure a playoff spot especially those in the brink of being dragged to the play-in tournament if ever they lose more and those in the 11-13 seeds trying to climb even just for a play-in and have a chance for the 7th and 8th spot after the small tournament. We need to observe those teams more. The Lakers are a good example.
Hmm... what you said, I confess it's totally plausible.
Thanks for your explanation.

I didn't think of it that way, but I have no doubt that several teams will do anything to get at least a seed in the playoffs of this season.

Well, regarding the Lakers, as incredible as it may seem, I believe they will be able to get some seed in this season, but for that to happen they need to stand out and play extremelly well!
And of course, no player can get any injury, especially LeBron or AD
And the proof happened today.
Miami Heat forced a win despite the fact that they were underdogs against the home team 76ers. Most of us did bet for Philly here and we lost it. The 76ers had a hard time taking the lead, they had it once in the 4th quarter 99-98 if I remember it right and then Miami Heat didn't stop at taking the lead back.
Bam Adebayo's mid-range shots were switched on, their defense got heavier and it made the 76ers have a difficult time scoring.

1/3 for me.
Pelicans also lost their game against the Orlando Magic. They may also be trying to pave their way for a play-in spot.

They need to play with high consistency, as the competition in the West is getting tighter now that Durant and Irving are playing for their respective teams. As of now, they are ranked number 12 but still very close to rank 4, so every game matters for a team that doesn't have a secure ranking.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat
The Philadelphia 76ers (39-20) will visit the Miami Heat (32-29) tonight at Wells Fargo Arena. The 76ers are coming from a devastating loss against the Celtics. This is their comeback game after that loss.
After that devastating loss against the Celtics, they're feeling devastated yet again as they lost against the Heat on their own home court.
A circus shot by Butler to take the lead, a block from Adebayo on Embiid, and Harden fouling Butler. A sequence that made the Sixers lose the game. I just hope that the Sixers are ok and make a comeback after 2 straight losses.

Well, ever since the Chicago Bulls trade for Patrick Beverly, they seems to be a bit of a different team. Now it’s only been two games so far, as well as they played versus some pretty crappy teams, but you can just tell in their style of game of late, that they are a changed team.

The Bulls face off with the Toronto Raptors tomorrow, getting +4.5 points. I’m going to ride their hot hand and lay a few Satoshi down for this one.
They got one of the best defensive back courts now in the league in Caruso and Beverley. They can just lock down opponents guard if both of them are on the court. They are on a 2 game winning streak after they got Beverley and with DeRozan back in their line-up, that might've boosted the morale of the whole team.

Tomorrow they will be facing the Raptors on the road. The Bulls aren't that good on road and has only a 10-20 record, but the Raptors aren't playing good either even though they are on a 4 game winning streak, it's up against the bottom teams in the league currently.

Betting on the Bulls might be a good choice with this one. I will put a bet on them.

Rip my bet as the Pelicans extend their losing streak, they trail almost the entire game but whenever they close in on the lead the Magic suddenly pulls away.  Tongue

For tomorrow, i'm planning to take GSW ML or the spread, the Blazers could threaten the Warriors but the Warriors won in their last meeting at home and I think we're likely going to see the same result again here as they're the third best home team in the West just behind the Grizzlies.
