What do you guys think about the whole Chicago Bull situation.  Were they stupid to stand pat and not make any trades? Do you think that they should literally consider trading Lavine? At this point he's the only mid to long term option that's set in stone, so for me I think it would have made sense to deal DeRozan and Vuc perhaps.  Who the hell knows when Ball will be back, if ever. Frustrating season for my club.
Was waiting for their big move too but nothing. We have heard a lot of rumors about their two star shooters wanting a trade and yet it didn't become fruitful, I guess nobody really pushed it to move forward.
The Bulls management might want to just let it go on where it is this season, if they are going to lose, so be it. The inconsistency is not tolerable anymore and I don't feel like it's working out for them, no chemistry at all. Next year though, it might be different.

Sorry about your parlay @boltz, you are not alone.  Cheesy

Cleveland Cavaliers - San Antonio Spurs - Cleveland Cavaliers (-12.5)
Charlotte Hornets - Atlanta Hawks - Atlanta Hawks (-3.5)
New York Knicks - Brooklyn Nets - Brooklyn Nets ML
Miami Heat - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets ML
Cavs 117 - SAS 109 - didn't cover the spread. It was supposed to hit but garbage time happened.
Hornets 144 - Hawks 138 - high scoring game but Hawks without Collins is a big hole.
Knicks 124 - Nets 106 - Brunson was mad, I think he had 34 at the end of 3rd quarter. Ended at 40, I thought he is going to break his career high.
Heat 108 - Nuggets 112 - Somehow this game gave me a win.
1/4 for my early bets. Lots of loss in parlays. Two short late-game parlays won.

@boltz, nothing is easy in NBA, parlay is the hardest to win even if you will pick the heavy favorites to win. Just have some fun with parlay, don't focus too much on that, maybe you can bet on one bet per game, and I'm sure your chance to win will increase.

It's very frustrating if we put a decent amount in our parlay bet and the games that we thought would easily hit will lose. Been there dude, so I decided to calm down a bit on parlay bets.

Oh man , no matter what I pick in NBA , I cannot get a winning bet!

I've tried my luck quite sometimes lately and nothing hits. Last night , I was so sure about my bet but guess what , Hornets decide to play their best game of season so far...

I'll be betting on the Oklahoma City Thunder -2.5 @1.98 as the odds look pretty good against the Pelicans, they'll be playing at home and whenever they're favorites at home they usually cover (currently 8-3 ATS). The Pelicans are still struggling on the road currently with only 2 away wins out of at least 10 games and with their poor form it seems unlikely for them to break the streak today when they're up against one of the best teams that cover the spread.
Not able to him on their homecourt, sometimes OKC is unpredictable too, they won road games but lose on their home court. Maybe the spread was too easy that it looks like a trap, I'm not sure where the public money is going in this game, most likely it's on the home team, so I'm not surprise with the result.

Unfortunately, Miami Heat was defeated by the Denver Nuggets by a 4 point margin. It was a close game though, both teams are chasing each other in every quarter but the Heat didn't manage to get the last quarter.
And I lose my bet here. I was thinking that Miami had the advantage since they are at home and Murray did not play, but it was really the teamwork of the Nuggets that made them the better team here. I'm done with Miami Heat, they are so inconsistent.

Golden State Warriors vs Washington Wizards
The Golden State Warriors (28-28) will host the Washington Wizards (26-29) tonight at Chase Center. Golden State is extra strong in their home, hopefully, it is still true in this game.
Warriors key injuries: Gary Payton II (core muscle injury) out, Andre Iguodala (hip) out
Wizards key injuries: Kyle Kuzma (ankle) out

Tailing you on the Golden State Warriors -3.5 @ Chase Center, I believe they can still defend their home successfully today even without Steph Curry on the floor because of a lower leg tightness. The management has said that he won't be playing until the All-Star game.

Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets
Miami Heat (32-25) will host the visiting Denver Nuggets (39-18) tonight at Miami-Dade Arena. Nuggets are the favorite but we cannot deny the homecourt advantage of Heat.
Nuggets key injuries: Aaron Gordon (rib) questionable, Jamal Murray (knee) questionable
Heat key injuries: Bam Adebayo (knee) probable, Tyler Herro (knee) doubtful, Kyle Lowry (knee) out, Victor Oladipo (ankle) out, Max Strus (shoulder) probable, Gabe Vincent (ankle) probable

New York Knicks vs Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets (33-23) will visit the New York Knicks tonight at Madison Square Garden. The starless Brooklyn Nets will try to win it on the road but the Knicks should have this (unless the Knicks disappoints us)
Nets key injuries: Seth Curry (thigh) out
Knicks key injuries: Mitchell Robinson (thumb) out

No they will not this season. Give this team at least 2 years to develop. Those who will step up and become an all-star are the ones that will carry the team and the ones who has little to no improvement in the span of 2 years will be traded.

The Magic is a young team and they are showing potential already. Defeating those top teams isn't an easy thing to do especially when you are at the bottom spot. I mean defeating 1 or 2 can be done by these bottom teams, but to defeat the Celtics twice, Sixers and Nuggets? They are showing that they can do it, and they only need time to develop. Offense is distributed. It's hard to stop it, and it's good thing that Fultz is starting to be a better player already after many thought that he was the #1 draft pick, but a bust.
I asked this question above because I started to watch Magic's games, and if they can be a good team to bet on and if in fact they can have an improvement in the future.

Hmm, looking at,  from that perspective you're right..
I also realized that Magic game after game has remained an interesting (to bet on) and also a promising team.
What you said about the Magic, I believe that can also apply with Boston today, Smart, Tatum and Brown, they were diamonds that were polished when they were young, and now the Celtics are getting the result of that.

They don't give up easily, so even if they will lose, there's a high chance that they will cover the spread since they are the underdog in the majority of their games due to their lower standing. I'm impressed with this time despite not being in the playoffs ranking yet, they are just composed of young players but they played with great chemistry already, so it's okay to risk our money on this team.
Hmm, I didn't know that!
I confess that for a few days I've been paying attention to Magic and also to other teams that are a "bad bet", but they can surprise many people.

I confess, the Magic is one of them, I share again what I said above, the current Magic roster is similar tlike Boston a few seasons ago.
Many "diamond players" that can be polished according to time, that's what happened to Boston

My picks for tonight.

New York Knicks (-2.5) vs Brooklyn Nets = New York Knicks Win 1,87 Odds.

Dallas Mavericks (-5.5) vsMinnesota Timberwolves = Dallas Mavericks Win 1,75 Odds.

Charlotte Hornets vs Atlanta Hawks (-5.5) = Atlanta Hawks Win 1,85 Odds.

Good luck guys.

I'll tail you with all the 3 bets mate, single and then parlay.

Knicks vs Nets = @1.91
Mavs vs Wolves = @1.80
Hornets vs Hawks = 1.88

All of them are already juicy odds for a singles, but again, I will up the ante with 3 parlays = 6.46 hehehe.

Battle of the boroughs, but I think Knicks will prevail against their rival as the Nets is still trying to adjust with their new players becoming starters.
Dallas, we all know that they have Kyrie + Luka now, although they lost the last time, I think they can bounce back here against the struggling Wolves
Hawks has been consistent as compare to Hornets.

Now here are my picks for today's game

Indiana Pacers VS Utah Jazz

The stake odds for this game are 1.96 for the Pacers and 1.89 for the Jazz, Myles Turner and Tyrese Haliburton are questionable if they can play for the Pacers while Russell WestBrick, and Micah Potter can not play for the Utah Jazz, Whoa Russell WestBrick can not play and it was not injury related? do you guys know the reason? well the Utah Jazz just need to push themselves and they surely need the motivation to win this, I still don't know what could be possible contribution WestBrick could give to Jazz, but I am going with the Utah Jazz as my pick for this game

Miami Heat VS Denver Nuggets

The stake odds for this game are 2.02 for the Heat and 1.84 for the Nuggets, Right now Victor Oladipo, Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, Nikola Jovic, and Omer Yurtseven, can not play, and Haywood Highsmith, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, Max Strus, and Gabe Vincent is questionable if they can play for the Heat, while Collin Gillespie, and Zeke Nnaji, can not play Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray are questionable if they can play for the Nuggets, because of the many injuries of the Heat ad mostly well-known main players for the team while Nuggets Nikola Jokic is on play with a triple-double last game, no doubt my pick is the Denver Nuggets,

Chicago Bulls VS Orlando Magic

The stake odds for this game are 1.52 for the Bulls and 2.60 for the Nuggets, right now Javonte Green, and Lonzo Ball, and not play and Alex Caruso is questionable if he can play for the Bulls, while R.J. Hampton Not Injury Related can not play for the Magic, for me even though they have injuries compared to the Magic the Bulls is in the leading start in this game, so my pick is the Chicago Bulls,

Golden State Warriors VS Washington Wizards

The stake odds for this game are 1.64 for the Warriors and 2.32 for the Wizards, right now Andre Iguodala, Gary Payton II, and Stephen Curry can not play for the Warriors while Kyle Kuzma is questionable if he can play for the Wizards, comparing these two teams the Warriors now badly needed the wins, and for the 2nd time they are playing at home if they lose this again they will lose this championship this season, so my pick is the Golden State Warriors,

Thanks for sharing some of your advance picks mate, let me tail you with some of your early bets.

Utah Jazz (-1.5) = This might be an easy game for the Jazz especially if Haliburton and Turner won't play as they are listed questionable for the game later.
Golden State Warriors (-4) = Kuzma is now ruled out for the game later.

And I'll try to see the Denver Nuggets vs Heat match-up later because I'm quite doubtful about the current spread. Good luck guys!

Just look at how distribute the offense of the Magic are. 6 players in double-digits. I believe that when this is the kind of offense a team has, they're very hard to stop because you don't know who you will be focusing with. Quite unfortunate that they lost to the Heat on their home, but it's a close one and I thought that they will win against them again. Anyway, I'll try to bet again on the Magic depending on their opponent/s.
Magic is a good team this season, so I will not regret backing them every time they'll play.

Well, they lose against the Heat, but it was a close game, they were actually leading, they just have some mistakes that they need to learn to be a matured team. It's a young team but they are competing at a highest level. Anyhow, congratulations to the backers of the heat, they won and cover.
I confess, Magic is being a team that I'm "looking at it with different eyes" it seems that game after game it is improving...

My question is, will the Magic make it to the playoffs this NBA season? Or could this be something difficult to happen?
No they will not this season. Give this team at least 2 years to develop. Those who will step up and become an all-star are the ones that will carry the team and the ones who has little to no improvement in the span of 2 years will be traded.

The team might go and play as far as the Play-in tournament but I think that will be their limit because even if they can manage to bring the team towards the playoffs, I highly believe that will be eliminated as early as 1st round. Besides, this is not their time yet, I mean, just look at the Boston Celtics, they surely haven't got an easy journey as what they got right now. Just like the other teams, they started at the bottom, developing their strengths and cores before they can able to compete with the heavy teams in the league.

And then, they also got the #1 pick this season, Paolo Banchero, the kid is already playing impressively. He just got to have enough exposures, so that he can adjust more and help Fultz from lifting the team.

@YuginKadoya, so you are only taking the moneyline of a team you choose? Well, if that's the case, congratulations, both teams have an easy win, although Raptors only won by 1 point, but the points of Pistons was made in the garbage time, Raptors had already secured the win before the game is over.

Both were Moneyline bets but with the Toronto Raptors VS Detroit Pistons and there is no other games to choose from because we only have two games yesterday, and if there are many games to choose from I will surely choose the profitable ones, because of the huge odds I have added another bet that is players' props and I have bet for Fred VanVleet making over 30 points and it was another hit, and surely it was a close game but still it was worth the risk if all your bet wins,

Now here are my picks for today's game

Tatum now becomes one of the elite who knows defense well even when 2 or 3 are teaming against him. And he is shooting often already. Not giving all the credit to him but there's DWhite and all the rest even those with injuries.

If there were few turnovers, the score gap would be much wider. Hoping to see him do well against Bucks too. I'd be keeping my bet on them  Grin

@danherbias07 - I have singles too, that's why I still managed to get 1 win, hehehe.

We have a lot of games so it's time to get some revenge win.  Grin
11 games to be exact! Let's go!!!

Cleveland Cavaliers - San Antonio Spurs - Cleveland Cavaliers (-12.5) Super clean roster without any injury report for the Cavaliers. I think that's the reason for the high spreads. They will win this perfectly and it might go as far as a blowout game.

Charlotte Hornets - Atlanta Hawks - Atlanta Hawks (-3.5) I wish this is not a mistake. Bogdanovic is questionable and Trae Young is probable status.
But the Hornets lost 8 of their last 10 games and even at home, they have a bad record of 7/18.

New York Knicks - Brooklyn Nets - Brooklyn Nets ML They are underrated and I like it, I want to see this newly created roster be one of the most competitive in the East. They performed well against the 76ers last time but just got bad at closing the game.

Miami Heat - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets ML Well, these guys already proved they can still win games even without Murray. It will be a lot of work for the Joker to get this win but I believe there will be players who will step up their game. Bam Adebayo is probable to play.

Good luck everyone.

Here are the results of my picks for today's game,

Boston Celtics VS Memphis Grizzlies SCORE 119 - 109 - WIN

Pretty much just like I have predicted the Celtics but not with Jayson Tatum with Derrick White's lead they got a great spread the Grizzlies may have a decent playing performance of Ja Morant but they are losing with the Spread of the Celtics, for me, the Boston Celtics are the real problem for the Golden State Warriors if they could make it on the championship finals, Both Al Horford and Jayson Tatum got 16 points Sam Hauser got 20 points, Derrick White had a double-double of 10 Assists and 23 points, winning against the Dynasty Memphis Grizzlies,

Toronto Raptors VS Detroit Pistons SCORE 119 - 118 - WIN

A close game indeed I really thought that the Detroit Piston will win this because of their 5 players that let the spread there but eventually, the Raptors are not behind and could eventually take the lead, so Scottie Barnes got 20 points, Pascal Siakam got 28 points, and Fred VanVleet got 35 points, winning the game against the Detroit Pistons,

Yeah, Raptors almost lead the whole game with double digit lead but they allowed the Pistons to come from behind and almost took the game from them.

That's very disappointing as I also thought they'll cover the spread easily, but it turns out their lack of defense almost gave the Pistons a chance to come back. Bogdanovic led the Pistons with his 33 points, his shooting percentage is quite high in this game, and the major reason why Pistons were able to make it a close game.
