So moving on, what's going to be the pick in game 3.
Tricky. I won't put an early bet for game 3 and may just do it live. It doesn't look like there are serious injuries on both teams so that makes it rather hard to choose.

Is this going under or over?
I like to put some bet on the total as well.
I' m not betting here but I'm thinking of experimentin on haltime/fulltime. Celtics would start better and keep until halftime. Warriors will catch up and win im the sexond half. Odds for Celtics/Warriors is pretty high.

i would like to make proper monyline bet to series winner and not per every match
so how do you feel folks, is THIS Warriors?

1-st match i skipped but following often this great topic

2-nd match placed to Curry 27,5 pts

if i dont mistake Tatum did not covered both games?

If you feel the Warriors will win, don't hesitate, per sportsbooks betting odds, the odds now are almost even, so Warriors has a chance to win the NBA Finals. The series now will be shifted to Boston, Warriors also need to win a game to even the series or take the lead, who knows, so just follow what you feel.

Almost equal, unlike the day after Boston won the game 1, Warriors have much higher odds, now that they've tied it up

Boston needs to win at home twice. If they will allow Warriors to take one game, the home-court advantage will
be back to Warriors and knowing how loud the crowd inside chase center it can affect the players' focus.
It's more about how you trust your team and how confident and willing you are to take the risk.

I can't trust Boston at home, by far, they don't have a good record at home because this team can win both home and road games. Celtics should bounce back in game 3 so the advantage will be on them, if they'll lose game 3, they will have to play well in game 4, otherwise Warriors might end the series in their home court in game 5.

First game, Tatum scored 12 points only, so obviously, he didn't cover the spread. In game 2, he did manage to score 28 points, so depending on what bet you have (over or under), he might have covered it.

It seems though that bettors still favor GSW to win the finals, so I would say that same. Chances for them are good specially that they've won game 2 and tie the series.

That will not change, Warriors are the more popular team and therefore Celtics have to earn their respect by beating the Warriors. We have a thread on the NBA Finals between these two teams and we see how big the advantage of the Warriors is based on the total votes.

Game 3 at home, this is very interesting, because Celtics usually bounce back after a loss, so let's see what they can do.

So moving on, what's going to be the pick in game 3.

Celtics have their home court advantage and they are only favorite by 3.5 points.
This time, bets are balanced, look 50/50 on both sides, so I think this kind of line is provided by the bookmakers.

Is this going under or over?
I like to put some bet on the total as well.

I have not checked his props in both Games 1 and 2 but I think he didn't, maybe the line was 30+ points. He did well today with 28 points but not enough. There are times he will be left free to shoot but it won't go in. The defensive pressure may have something to do about it and that's all Wiggins doing a fine job at guarding him. We won't see many players who do sacrifice their offensive power for the sake of winning the game. I am glad he learned that lesson in the Warriors team.
Game 3 is next, I like the chance of the Warriors here, because although Celtics are at home but they aren't dominating the home games based on their record in the last series.
Like the Miami Heat series, home games might not matter anymore.
Klay even not getting good numbers in terms of offense, but the presence of him in defense is good enough to help the Warriors,
I think I heard Jeff Van Gundy say the same thing, he puts his effort in the defensive end if he cannot contribute on their offense.

And this is the Golden State that we know, winning big the 3rd quarter and then closing the doors throughout the 4th.
Yes, that's correct. Their only problem in Game 1 was being careless in the last quarter but now they made sure the Celtics won't have a good run even a short one. Most runs came from the Warriors from 7-0 to 12-1 and it happened over and over that's why the lead ballooned to that amount.
1/2
Low score end game because of the blowout. Klay is still not himself, how I wish I could see him make those shots, it could have ended earlier. Thankfully, Jordan Poole was hot and provided a lot of help.
GP2!!! He is back! But we could see a little trauma when he did a layup that was supposed to be a high-flying dunk if not for the memory of the injury.

That's a good thing, Klay is not even himself and yet the Warriors have pretty much dominated the game. I like what they did in the 3rd quarter, again, they have a huge run and they continue their defense in game 2. Curry had rested well also, he doesn't need to come back after the rest in the 4th quarter as their 2nd unit are doing their job very well.

Klay even not getting good numbers in terms of offense, but the presence of him in defense is good enough to help the Warriors,

Steph lead the entire offense but manage to take his rest much earlier since the 2nd squad already doing the seam tempo. I see that Boston

coach gave it up in the final quarter. Unlike in game 1, he still using his core five to play but this time he also rests them much earlier, maybe a

possible strategy to avoid any injury, they'll be going home and they can win back.

They didn't gave the same opportunity to the Celtics in the 4th. Although they were outscored 24-20, it was mostly garbage time as the Celtics emptied their bench with still 5 minutes to go and raise the white flag. Now they are thinking what they are going to do in game 3. They now have the home court advantage, just a matter on how they are going to protect it.

Here is the result of my pick for today's NBA finals game,

Golden State Warriors VS Boston Celtics (Series Tied 1 - 1) - SCORE 107 - 88 - WIN

We have seen a very dominant Warriors again in game 2 and from the game, Derrick White had 12 points, Jaylen Brown got 17 points while Jayson Tatum got 28 points, but it was not enough to win against the Warriors that spread their score to all Warrior Players Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson both got 11 points, Kevon Looney got 12 points, Jordan Poole got 17 points and Stephen Curry with 29 points, from that game 2 Draymond Green pretty much focus more on the defense, getting very physical with the Celtics throughout the game, while Jordan Poole did a remarkable beyond almost half-court shot, even Stephen Curry has his deep 3 points getting the lead even more, and I think they now have the momentum going to game 3 on Celtics home court, but I think that smart defense from Draymond Green sure let the Warriors rack this win.

I also took the Warriors to win @1.52 and planning to sprinkle some on the spread during live betting. I'm hoping for the Warriors to make some improvements and have a solution to stop the Celtics from scoring too many points in a single quarter. On the other side, the Celtics still have the potential to win the second game but looking at the bigger picture they already made enough damage and just need to hold at home. Plus the promo on stake is too good to pass up, it already cashed last game so i'm expecting it'll cash again as the Warriors tend to have a strong 3rd quarter performance.

I think and hope the dubs bounce back but reading so often here that the Warriors "dominted the first 3 quarters" or something like that is so wrong.

Celtics actually won the first half .

That will be the game plan for game 2 as well, keep the score close and try to play superior defence in the final quarter. Because you cant deny the Warriors for 48 minutes but for 12, as we can see, is more than possible. I hope Warriors will get a big win but everything is possible, even losing big.

Go Warrios, dubs in 6 !  Grin

Game 2 win is possible, they will have a big bounce back and I believe they will start strong to now allow the Celtics to have their own run. the series is just getting interesting, one win by the Warriors and people will not doubt them anymore. I know everyone is excited to watch this game because we are going to find out if Warriors can even the series or they'll be in a 0-2 hole.

Warriors fans will undoubtedly bring their money for this team, they let game 1 with unexpected outcome,

game 2 is a needed win for them to put things in a good perspective. Having a 0-2 standing will be a hard thing to deal,
they are competing with a young and solid squad.

Let see if how coach Kerr will design the remedy in case same scenario will repeat in this upcoming game 2, if how
He will not allow that kind of 17-0 run. Few more minutes and the game will start..Best of luck!

I like the Warriors ML tonight and would be settling for that, I don't think they'll go 2-0 down at home, especially giving the fact that they literally let game 1 slip through their fingers, I'm not underestimating the Celtics by any means, but Warriors have got to take this, or it's going to a really tough situation for them if they fail to win tonight.

GL!

Debating whether to take the -4.5 or to hit the money line.  Don't know if the 4.5 points is worth the risk I was leaning on the money kine as well.  Can't see golden state losing 2 at home to start the finals.  Might hit the over on this one too.  Might get fast.

S. Curry 4+ assists / S. Curry 3+ rebounds / S. Curry 1+ steal @1.83 ∆  won

D. Green 4+ assists / D. Green 6+ rebounds / D. Green 1+ steal @1.80 ∆  X

I have two props on the day, one is on Curry and one on Draymond Green that are actually quite similar. I'm staying away from Curry's 3s and total points, no way the Celtics play him that poorly again, allowing him a ton of uncontested looks early. I anticipate a lot of pressure and blitzes on screens and pnrs, else Celtics are inviting trouble. It is worth noting that Curry has been active in the passing lanes, with back-to-back games with at least three steals and 16/L17 with 3+ rebounds.

Green should be the last person on Golden State's roster to get 10+ shots in a game, it's a recipe for disaster and exactly what the Celtics wanted, to leave him open and bait him to shoot bricks. His strengths are and always have been, playing defense, rebounding, and finding open teammates...not jacking up 3s.
