I'm also going with Miami spread since they're playing at home and the Celtics barely had much rest after taking down the Bucks a few days ago. I was already leaning on Miami before Smart and Horford got ruled out on the side of the Celtics so things will probably get easier for Miami, I just hope the game doesn't end up close though.

No Lowry tonite will be tough for Miami since he has playoff experience with his former team.
I honestly think that it's a plus for Miami to have Lowry out for now since they didn't have much success when he played against the Sixers.

Both Marcus Smart and Al Horford are out of game 1, Al Horford is said to be under health and safety protocol, I don't know how many games he'd miss for that and really I also don't think Robert Williams is 100% fit for the game either.

Probably the next game as well, because it's Thursday, and i don't think he can clear it in two days. Who gets tested these days, by the way? The NBA should probably revise/rethink its safety protocols. I saw a picture of Horford in a huddle with his teammates earlier today, no masks, etc...so what's the point? They should scrap those protocols for the remainder of the postseason, it sucks losing a key guy for a game, or even two...and besides almost all players are vaxxed now.

I'm taking Miami-3.5 at home and nabbing the under.  Think it's gonna be a tight game with key injuries on both sides.  Just like Jimmy at home for game one

Miami Heat for the first win -3.5. Homecourt advantage and to shock the Celtics how better their defense is than the Bucks.
I wish no players will be nervous and show a shitty game so that it will be more entertaining.
A lot of players are questionable to play for the Heat but I don't think they will miss this important game to have the first blood and be in front. Every game win will be a step closer to the Finals so they better give it all out.
Kyle Lowry is still not able to play.
Good luck everyone.
No Lowry tonite will be tough for Miami since he has playoff experience with his former team.
Have enough confidence in Bulter, Herro and Adebayo to get game 1 done on home court.
Celtics just destroyed last years champions in their last game so hope their not on a roll going into this Heat matchup.
They do play at another level in the playoffs as we all know.

I’m seeing odds of MIA -1.5 with an implied final score I’d Boston 101 - Miami 102.5. I have no idea who will win, but I tend to think Boston has a small advantage. It will be interesting to see how game 1 goes. I think a lot of my opinion will come from seeking how the game goes. In my opinion, Bam Adebayo is going to play a large role in the series. If he’s able to shut down the Celtics in the lane, I think Miami has a good shot. On the other side, if Al Horford can keep the chip on his shoulder and have a couple good games, the Celtics will be difficult to stop.

I guess with that I would go with Heat to win game 1, although I still believe in a close game here.

What happened now was just a reply because we can't deny that they are the heaviest team in the league for some quite few seasons but when it comes to playoffs, I don't know why they can't adjust well and maintain their consistency.
Maybe small ball weakness. They lack outside shots consistency and I want to see Cam Johnson shoot the ball more. His outside shot is at an average percentage but he lacks the capability to be confident about it.
There will always be times when Booker and CP3 will be guarded well and this is where I thought they should shine most including Bridges. They have the advantage with their height and length but without the courage to shoot, nothing will materialize.
Good luck with them next year and I bet the Suns' management will be looking for shooters.
Surely the Phoenix Suns management are now disappointed because they've chose to draft DeAndre Ayton than Luka Doncic. They should come to a point to be more confident in shooting and not relying alone to Booker and CP3's capabilities because it's already expected that these two will be heavily guarded. So the rest of the roster should work their way off while the opposite team are busy giving some good attention to Booker and CP3. They had a good run but they are still inconsistent when it comes to adjusting.

PJ Tucker, Danny Green, McGee are few of those lucky players,  Grin.

So let's see if Tucker can make it back to back with different teams, this will be a good accomplishment, but they have to go first with Celtics and then on the other brackets winner. I will go with the under on this first game, 203.5 at 1.93.

It would not be so easy for them like in the 2nd round because Celtics are a complete different team that they beat before. In fact, Celtics now are the favorite to win the series, so I wouldn't be surprise if they'll steal game 1 in this series.

Heat has to win the first 2 games if they want to have a good chance of winning the series. Heat surely have a plan against Tatum, they'll find a way to slow him down but at the same time, I'm worried about Butler because it seemed like no one could defend him from the Celtics roster.

Same here, I believe that the Miami Heat have the upper hand now against the Boston Celtics because they are much more experienced team and their rotation is much more different. While the latter will have some time to adjust and that includes losses on the series as well but they have to find a way to limit Jimmy Butler's performance because if not, they'll be just like the 76ers.

They have to, but they have to understand that Celtics are the favorite to win this series for a reason. Everyone has to show up, not only Butler because in the 2nd round, I see some players who are not really consistent except Butler. We don't want to see the Heat like the Bucks team.

Indeed! Heat needs everyone to work together. Butler alone is just like Giannis back at Milwaukee. He might exhaust himself competing

but if they will play alongside together and show their home dominance, the chance of winning the first two games at home is possible.

on the other side, Boston again will try hoping that this time fate will give them the chance to appear in the NBA finals, tough job

but we never know who's going to represent the East side.

Expect a game 7 on this series, it's tough to predict the winner because both teams are good, but I'm with the favorite to win the series which is the Celtics. i like them because they are moving the ball very well, and everyone can shoot 3s, even Horford who will be their center.

Agree. Khris Middleton and P.J Tucker will give a good contribution to Bucks if they are on the current roster against Celtics. Giannis can't beat alone a strong specially if he is heavily guarded. P.J Tucker is now in better team with Miami Heat because he can work well with Adebayo in terms of defense. This only means how good PJ Tucker choose a team that will work well with his skills. His team change from Houston to Bucks result to Championship, Maybe he can do this on Heat because they are very strong on this season in both offense and defense.

Tucker is a lucky charm to get a ring. haha

I totally agreed, with P.J. Tucker is really lucky when he was put to the Bucks then the Milwaukee Bucks became champions and I think this is not a good time Milwaukee Bucks to let P.J. Tucker to another team, and yeah Tucker is so much good with Adebayo that is for sure, but I don't agree that the Miami Heat will become Champion this season,  Cheesy Golden State Warriors, will  Wink

Tucker is one of those good reasons why they won the last year's title. Remember him defending KD and really giving

A hard time with his friend. There are times when KD's mom shouting at him I was in the impression that he's
getting annoyed not knowing that Tucker and KD have a strong close friend relationship.

Yes, his addition to Miami gives Bam a lift. His defense really works even with a big and very offensive player,
I'm expecting him guarding Tatum or Brown..

That was hilarious, KD's mom pretty much supported his son make it through but the Milwaukee Bucks have the offense and defense advantage at that time, well apparently I really think that the circumstance for the Milwaukee Bucks has faded when they outs P.J. Tucker they really think it is all because of Giannis Antetokuonmpo but that is simply not the reason for that hard win.

And Tucker now has a chance to win another championship team because Miami Heat is already in the ECF, once they win the series, they'll be in the NBA Finals which I still believe they have a shot against either team that will win in the WCF. Tucker with this defense, he is a great addition to the Heat and I think although Heat is the underdog in the ECF, I believe they'll win.
I thought McGee has the strongest lucky charm and it will make the Suns win, I guess the one being worn by Tucker is stronger.  Grin

Still McGee is the reigning champion when it comes to most lucky player on NBA, He has a back to back NBA Championship ring during 2017 - 2018 and snatch his last ring on 2020 when he move to Lakers. He is the real Chad when it comes to effortless ring count, He might be a chance to get the current ring if Booker and the gang didn't choke on him. So what more if this 2 player join together on a single team?  Grin Grin Grin

Tomorrow is DDay for the NBA. I'm sure both games is very explosive and I'm sure that the spread will be close. But still I'm skeptical to bet a +10.5 on any of this teams since there's a possibility that they will dominate the other teams on last quarter.

First game is Heat vs Celtics.

Heat slight favor this game one, but not that much in the ML line.

While the handicap open at -/+1.5. I haven't decided which to bet yet in this game. Very hard to predict as both are very complete lineup and ready to play.

Both teams play quite similarly, and it's really tough to pick a side just yet, I guess we might need to see how the first few games unfold, but Celtics imo have been more adversity in this playoffs than the Heat, this seem more like the Heat first real test in this playoffs. Butler has been Heat's best player in this post season, but he'll enough help from others to be effective against the elite Celtics defense.

My first bet on this series would probably be on the Overs 203.5 @ 1.90, I know both teams would prioritize their defense, but I think the Heat unlike the Bucks would be much better from behind the arc, if they can't get easy access into the paint.
