Oh ya! Another multi bet win (unless the Knicks blow their lead in the 4th, but it’s pretty big). Granted the odds weren’t exactly going to retire anyone anytime soon, but a win is a win. Hope everyone had a great day of gambling on NBA basketball. Tomorrow I might have to switch up sports.

With Jalen Brunson playing like a player that is bound to fail a doping test if taken in for a random test today, I knew there was no way for the Blazers to claw their way back into the game with just the 4 Quarter left to for, even if the game had continued for 2 Quarters more, there was just only one way left for the game to end, and that was the Knicks securing the W for the night.

I'm not a fan of the Bucks spread, but I think it's a decent line for them to cover after being blown out by the Kings on the road in their previous match. Then again we could say the same for the Sixers after their match against the Knicks and we shouldn't underestimate them as much. They've recently won against decent teams like the Cavs, Mavs, and Knicks so they can show up on certain days even without their best player in the lineup.

Knicks -4.5 / Blazers TT U104.5 / D. DiVincenzo 1+ stocks @1.70  won

source: https://www.si.com/nba/2024/03/13/knicks-sixers-defense-og-anunoby
Quote
The Knicks came away with a 106–79 win behind a triple double from Josh Hart. After having beaten the Orlando Magic, 98–74, that's now three straight games in which the Knicks have held their opponent under 80 points. No team has done that since 2015.

Three straight under 80 points? That might not have made headlines 20-30 years ago, but it is pretty fucking amazing in this day and age, regardless of who the opponents were in those three games.

I have the Blazers' team total under 104.5, don't think the under 80-point streak will last, but the Blazers aren't putting on a clinic either. The spread is at 11.5, and i expect the Knicks to cover (but -4.5 would do just fine by me), especially considering the Blazers are on the back end of a back-to-back, tired, and without J. Grant.

DiVincenzo 1+ stocks has been one of my favorite props of late, 10/L10, Blazers also give the third most steals to opposing SGs this season.

Some long odds for me today but I feel somewhat good about this one.  I think the Timberwolves look at the Clippers like they've got a point to prove.  Without KAT it will be tough, but I think Anthony Edwards might be able to pull it off.  We'll see...  The rest of the picks aren't as risky, but with odds at 13.36 I think this is a good bet to make.  Smiley
-snip-
I'm surprised you pick Timberwolves even it is against Los Angeles Clippers. You already mentioned there's no KAT (out of the remaining season) so for me it will be very hard to Timberwolves to win this game. Not just this game but the remaining season. Timberwolves really need KAT for able to won championship this season. Also this game is home court advantage for the LA Clippers. So for me i will pick La Clippers over Wolves. The rest of your pick is okay.

Good thing I did and I'll tell you why.  A couple of games ago when these two teams met Anthony Edwards was making comments and laughing at the Clippers because they're too old.  Ever since then he has absolutely dominated the Clippers and you can tell he takes it personally when they play.  I think he's the best player on the court when they match up and he takes the opportunity to show it.  Not a bad parlay for me tonight on this one.  13.36 odds makes up for a whole lot of losses in a row.  Smiley
Sorry for the late reply and for bumping this yesterday game. If Kawhi hadn't left the game, the LA Clippers would have surely won. In the first half the Clippers managed to lead by almost 20 points but after Kawhi Leonard left the game, the Minnesota Timberwolves started to come back. Didn't disclose the reason why Kawhi Leonard left the game. But after reading some reports it was because of thoracic spasms. Hopefully his okay now and can play against Bulls.

Game 1: Bucks-7.5.  I just don't think the sixers without embid can keep up here.

Game 3: Clippers -6.5.  One of those hunch plays.  I like the clips and how they play.  The spread doesn't seem like much to get over.  Figure they will be up late 5/6 points and free throw their way into a 9 to 10 point win.

Enjoy the game and good luck everyone!

I like these two bets as both teams were coming from a loss, for the Clippers, they are in 2 losing streak, hopefully Leonard will play here. But honestly, I'm not so 100% sure aabout the Clippers since the Bulls has been playing very well recently, but anyway I'll follow ( said on our local thread I'll take a break but see this, I might put a bit for the play).

Also, for the Bucks, Losing to the Kings was pretty big, they look like  G League team on that losing over 30 points, so i'm hoping for a big comeback win and expect that they'll dominate the Embiid less Sixers. Riding this bet too, Good luck @wheelz1200

Laid off for a second.  Back at it with 3 games tonight.  Need a clean sweep to pick up some losses from last week.

Game 1: Bucks-7.5.  I just don't think the sixers without embid can keep up here.

Game 2: Knicks-11.5. With OG back on the squad the defense picked back up and kept the sixers under 80.  Think this is like a 110-92 type of game.

Nothing too crazy today.  Let's see if we can get a win.  I feel like the Bucks are a lock to beat the 76ers and the Knicks/Rockets/Clippers should all be easy wins as well, but you never know.  The Wizards have managed to win a few as of late and the Clippers have been dropping a few here and there.  A safer pick might be just the Knicks and Bucks to win, but those odds aren't worth the gamble.

Orlando Magic - Brooklyn Nets - Orlando Magic (-5.5) - Won!
Miami Heat - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-3.5) - Won! Miami Heat took the lead for just a while.
Indiana Pacers - Chicago Bulls - Indiana Pacers (-3.5) - Loss! Overtime! Damn DeRozan. Why!?
New Orleans Pelicans - Cleveland Cavaliers - New Orleans Pelicans (-4.5) - Loss! Mitchell is back, the Cavs are strong again.
Sacramento Kings - Los Angeles Lakers - Los Angeles Lakers (-1.5) - Loss! I didn't expect that from the Kings, they are still filled with energy despite the back-to-back games.

2/5 +1

Low multiplier but a high chance.

6 games later. Here are my picks.
Boston Celtics - Phoenix Suns - Phoenix Suns (6.5) - Brown is questionable to play and Porzingis is out. I'll take my chances with the + spread.
Chicago Bulls - Los Angeles Clippers - Los Angeles Clippers (-4.5) - Coby White was hurt during the game against the Pacers and they are playing back-to-back from an overtime game. Clippers on the other hand have Kawhi and Harden both questionable to play.
Milwaukee Bucks - Philadelphia 76ers - Milwaukee Bucks (-8.5) - This should be an easy win for the Bucks. I hope the spreads will be covered.
Portland Trail Blazers - New York Knicks - New York Knicks (-10.5) - They have OG back, they have more options for their offense, and stronger in defense.

Good luck everyone.

That win from the Knicks yesterday was sweat-free, we need to have more of those dominant wins.  Tongue

It's nice to know that we are mostly on the same page with the Nuggets spread after they managed to hold off the Raptors in their last game. The Miami Heat has been underperforming recently and threw a free win away against the Wizards. With the line this close, i'd back the much better team since they nearly have the same wins and losses against the Heat at home.

Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Toronto Raptors

This looks like the absolute one for me to be honest, there is quite a huge value here, I don't know why the Toronto Raptors are considered a +5 Handicap and 2.5 ML underdog here, but I'm willing to take both for even Odds, not a win or burst case scenario though.

Brooklyn Nets and Hornets Over 203.5 @ 1.83 is also of great consideration for me, I'm just waiting to confirm the line ups and whatnot before giving it shot or not.

After yesterday's monster win I think I'll go for some more long odds today.  I'm not sure what's going on with the Raptors that the Pistons are the favorites, but unless I'm reading this wrong it looks like they'll be in Toronto, which is a nice party scene change from Detroit.  I think most of their players will be hungover by tipoff so I'm going with the Raptors.  The rest of the games should work themselves out.

New York Knicks - Philadelphia 76ers - New York Knicks (-4.5) - Won! OG Anunoby is back, the Knicks suddenly got stronger. Josh Hart is pumped. Triple-double Cheesy I love that Villanova trio. "Nova Knicks."
Oklahoma City Thunder - Indiana Pacers - Indiana Pacers (7.5) - Won! I don't even need that plus. I trusted the speed prowess of the Pacers.
Memphis Grizzlies - Washington Wizards - Washington Wizards (-1.5) - Loss!
Utah Jazz - Boston Celtics - Boston Celtics (-4.5) - Won! No Brown, no problem. Tatum and Holiday will be enough to beat the Jazz.

Bonus!

9 games later. Wow!
Here are my picks.
Orlando Magic - Brooklyn Nets - Orlando Magic (-5.5)
Miami Heat - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-3.5) - This will be fun. The East Champions versus the West. I bet both teams will be competitive in this game.
Indiana Pacers - Chicago Bulls - Indiana Pacers (-3.5) - I don't believe in exhaustion for the young Indiana team. They might win again.
New Orleans Pelicans - Cleveland Cavaliers - New Orleans Pelicans (-4.5)
Sacramento Kings - Los Angeles Lakers - Los Angeles Lakers (-1.5) - Kings back to back, AD versus Sabonis, that's a good matchup.

Good luck everyone.

Dallas -4.5 win
Luka and Irving going to play at Chicago where the Bulls only have 16-15 home record, so I the Mavericks have a decent chance here.Last game, Dallas beat the Bulls by 9 points at their home court, now playing on the road, I believe they can still get a win here.

Warriors -4.5 win
With or without Curry, I think the Warriors are in a situation where they need to win, so I trust them to win and avenge their loss.

Cavaliers +5.5 loss
I like their home record, so I'm taking the points. Mitchell is still out and Booker will probably be back, that's why I like the home team.

Updated record 35-35 50%)

still on the losing side, target here to be profitable is 53%....

So lets make that happen with this upcoming bets.  Grin

1- Miami heat +4
2- Chicago Bulls +4
3- Atlanta -3.5

You got lucky with the spread you took as the Cavaliers had only won by 6 points. Great 3rd quarter run by the Suns, booker returning without a minute restriction and he was able to contribute 27, as if nothing happened or not coming from injury. When the big 3 are playing great offense, this team will be so dangerous, first time the big 3 scored huge numbers with a great shooting percentage.
It got dicey at the start because the Cavs were landing 70% of their shots then the Suns started to stabilize in the second quarter and throughout the second half. I surely got lucky with the Cavs fouling at the end and I thought they'd miss at least one free throw.  Cheesy

After the Knicks lost to the Sixers during the weekend, i'd assume they wouldn't lose twice in a row here and with Anunoby playing today i'd give them the edge even though the Sixers are also getting Maxey back.

J. Brunson 4+ assists / D. DiVincenzo 3+ 3pts / D. DiVincenzo 1+ stocks @1.64  won

Unlucky with my last three plays in this thread 0/3: a 50-point blowout, a 40-point blowout, and an ejection for one of my players. Lol...I'm looking to turn things around this week.

Expect DiVincenzo's shoot attempts per game to decrease since OG Anunoby is back in the Knicks' starting lineup, but shot quality will improve. Defenses won't be able to sag off and help as they did with Achiuwa, primarily because OG can knock down 3s. DiVincenzo has made 3+ 3pts in 4/L5 @29% (% wise he is better than that and a positive regression is coming). DiVincenzo is averaging nearly 3 stocks in /L5 and has hit that mark in 5/L5.

Brunson has got 4+ assists in 4/L5 (if don't count the game vs. Cavs where he got injured in the opening seconds) 4+ assists also in the last 2 games vs. Philly this season. The 76ers went heavy double-teams/traps toward him only a few days ago, expect more of the same today. OG back is good news for Brunson, it's another scorer to dish assists out to.

Timberwolves versus Clippers - the main event of the evening.

Good luck guys, have a good one.

The Wolves are trying to find a new style of play in the absence of Karl-Anthony Towns. The Clippers will try to take advantage of this situation and use their home court advantage. Naz Reid's effort to replace Towns will be an important factor. The Clippers may choose to play with a shorter lineup to force Rudy Gobert on defense. The Wolves are ahead in the season series and a win in this game could give them a significant advantage over the Clippers in the playoff standings. The Clippers lost to the Wolves at home back in February, but they have been back to their best form lately, winning on the away this time despite facing them on the away. I think the Clippers will win at home in this game.
