Anyone who thinks that the NYK will make a comeback in the next game as MSG?

I have them at -1.5 this early at 1.88 odds, I think despite that they lack personnel, they will have to bounce back in this game and the Villanova boys will have to find a way to win and get back the momentum in this series.

They struggled without OG, if he will not play, I think the Pacers will win. The confidence of the Pacers now is on the roof after they beat the Knicks by blowout last game, so I think they'll likely take the win. Currently the Knicks are -2.5, but this is already game 5, they might face the fatigue as they are undermanned and have not been using their bench effectively.

We did it @ralle14, congratulations to us.
I trust the MVP, he will definitely bounce back and now he read the defense of the Timberwolves. It will be up to the Wolves again if they can adjust or tweak some of their plays because the old ones will not work against Jokic anymore. He is a master at reading the basketball map.
That upset from the Nuggets was intense and made me think they could collapse anytime since the Wolves only needed one run to tie the game.

I should've placed my bets several hours ago before the bad news came out from the Cavs as they don't have Mitchell and this is the chance for the Celtics to run away with the series. Now the line shifted by a few points, but I still expect the Celtics to cover the spread unless someone from the Cavs decides to step up and fill in Mitchell's spot.

Edit: The Celtics threw the spread and were close to losing the game, I should just stick with the team totals next time.  Lips sealed

Feeling good about yesterday's big win but not too excited about the action today.  So I'm taking a wuss bet and picking the Boston Celtics to win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.  This should be an easy win but you never know.  The odds make it to where you probably shouldn't make this bet, but the playoffs are about halfway over already so you gotta get the fun while the getting is good.  Smiley

Game 4 - Dallas Mavericks - Oklahoma City Thunder - Dallas Mavericks (-1.5) OKC lacks outside defenders who can stop either Kyrie or Luka. Defense can win this game but Coach Kidd is so good at reading his opponent's plays. I am curious though at what adjustments the OKC will show tonight.

Seems everyone is on the Dallas after they won game 3 but since I have them on the series already, I will skip betting on them tonight. Instead, I'll be betting on the OKC but not to win, it's on their total score this game, as for my sportsbook, they are over/under 107.5, I took the over as I think they'll shoot better this time around and they'll get more attempts compared to the last game. Anyway, good luck to us, I'm okay with Dallas winning of course, but I'm hoping it will be a high scoring game so my OKC bet would win.

Two games later.
Game 4 - Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics - Cleveland Cavaliers (10.5) I will take that +10. I don't think they will give up that easily and will try to tie the series because if it goes 3-1 it will be a lot of trouble for them considering the Celtics have the home advantage in this series.

Unlike with the Wolves, ANT's did do everything but without the help it's not going to work they have to blend things up both in defense and offense they need to find ways.

It's probably the coaching problem this time. In the first two games when the Nuggets loss, Wolves were able to limit Jokic, but in game 3 and 4, Jokic played like a real MVP and even the defensive player of the year can't do anything to limit Jokic. Nuggets made the right adjustment, now they cannot double Jokic anymore as he can easily pass the ball to Gordon for an alley up dunk, and with single coverage on Jokic, he will be able to penetrate and score inside the paint.

I think the momentum now is on the Nuggets, and now that they'll come back home, it's already a winnable game for them, so I wouldn't be surprise if after game 5, they will already take the lead in the series.

I have to go with the Nuggets as well, I believe they can pull it off for the second time on the road and deny the Wolves from going up 3-1 before they go back to Denver.

Not a good day for the Villanova trio. Brunson only had 18 points. Josh Hart cannot find his rhythm too, and Donte DiVincenzo not as hot as he was in Game 3.
The fatigue is probably setting in for some of their starters since they're always playing 40+ minutes a game.

Great catch with Nuggets, the defending champ tied the series and now gaining the momentum back, they manage to work together again and showcase their good chemistries, Jokic got that MVP stats once more though not only him but the very balance productions of their entire crews, they all work hard to win this game.

Unlike with the Wolves, ANT's did do everything but without the help it's not going to work they have to blend things up both in defense and offense they need to find ways.

Congrats to your win!

I was disappointed with the Cavaliers, I thought they'll be better at home but they were dominated by the Celtics. Anyway, let's move on to the upcoming games and see if we can get all 2 games.

So we have an early game too. Pacers vs Knicks, the home team won last game but it was a close one, however, I think they are still gonna win and all I hope is that they'll cover the spread. If they can dominate the Knicks, they'll be able to carry that momentum when they travel to Knicks for game 5.

Pacers -5.5 is my pick.  (win)

2nd game, I'm looking forward for the Nuggets to even the series, so Nuggets +2.5. (win)

\\  Updated record 17(W)-16(L)..... 52%

it was a great morning when I wake up, a big win by the Pacers and the Nuggets have controlled the game. From down below 50%, now I'm up to 52%. Just a slow process and hopefully we will reach the 55% in no time.

So having another early picks, hopefully the streak will continue.

Cleveland +8.. Celtics may win but this time it will not be a blowout. I think the Cavaliers will play harder, will make good adjustment before leaving for the Celtics in game 5.

Dallas -1. I like them to take the 3-1 in the series. It's been 2 straight the Dallas had won and the OKC was not able to make the right adjustment. Irving hasn't played his best yet in the series, this game he might explode.

And the Indiana Pacers won again. Nice. Series tied at 2-2. Suddenly it became an entertaining playoff. No sweep will happen in the 2nd round.

We have one more game later. Denver Nuggets versus Minnesota Timberwolves. Will the Nuggets also succeed in tying the series stealing another homecourt advantage for the Wolves or will it be 3-1 where there's little chance of recovery?
Here is my pick.
Minnesota Timberwolves - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets ML @2.40

Good luck everyone.

The freaking Cleveland Cavaliers couldn’t even keep the game to within 10 points. I’m a little bit bummed about that but it’s ok. I’ll be glad when this round of the playoffs is over and we’re on to better matchups. I am excited about the Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves game later today but I’m not sure which way I’ll bet that one yet.

I'm choosing the same team for the upcoming games.

I have Dallas -2.5 ( although it does look like a trap). First home game, I feel that they'll win the game and maybe next game the OKC will even the series.  On the 2nd game, nothing will change, I'm still rooting for the cavaliers here, at home they should play better, so I'm taking that +8.

Celtics -7.5, I still think Celtics are just too good for the cavs

And taking the over at 210.5. Cabs aren't all that strong defensively and I think the Celtics come out shooting.  Gimme a 119-109 game here.

Game went under but you got the Celtics spread right. If this was a close game, this could go over but the Celtics played great defense to dominate the Cavaliers. I'm afraid that we will see the same scenario with the Celtcs vs Heat, if they Celtics still take game 4, then that's it. Unlucky for me as I bet on the other side, I was too hype with the game 2 result, now I paid the price, LOL.

Went 1-2 last night need to pocket some money here.  Tonight I am taking three bets so far.

Celtics first quarter money line.  Think they come out hot from that whooping they took in game 2.

A really low scoring second half cost you the opportunity to go 2/2 and as you've said the Cavaliers just couldn't keep up with the Celtics, and they got blown away in the beginning of the 3rd quarter, while the Celtics kept counter punching every efforts being made by the Cavs to put together a run for themselves to get back into the game.

---------------

With Al-Horford as primary player in the No. 5 role, I expected Jason Tatum to do a lot of work with the boards, and took him on Over 9.5 Rebs @ 1.86, turned out a good decision for me.

I'm not going to be able to watch the games today but I figured I'd bet with the hopes that there are some close ones today.  I honestly think today's games could go either way and am a bit surprised that Dallas is the favorite today.  Maybe I missed an injury or something?  A bit surprising to see the Cavs still such heavy underdogs after bringing it the last game.  Other than Minnesota vs Denver, I'm not too excited about this round of the playoffs.  I'm ready for the next one...

Dallas Mavericks - Oklahoma City Thunder
Handicap (Incl. Overtime)
Oklahoma City Thunder (5.5)

Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics
Handicap (Incl. Overtime)
Cleveland Cavaliers (9.5)

So we have two upcoming games, first one is game 1 and the 2nd is game 2 of the Nuggets vs Wolves.

I have the Pacers at +6.(win) I think the Knicks are to overrated because they beat the Sixers, but I think game one is going to be close and I would even bet on the moneyline for Pacers if I have a little extra.

2nd game I have the Nuggets -5.5.  - loss

They can't loss this game, so I expect them to start strong and beat the Wolves by double digits. It doesn't matter how they played in game 1, all they need is a good adjustment, win game 2 and take game 3.

Moving on to the upcoming games...

Cleveland is not really a bad team but in the first game they loss via blowout. Now in game 2, I think they are ready to make the series interesting, so I expect the game to be a close one, and with that said, I'm taking the handicap +13.5. win

2nd game, I have the Dallas Mavericks +5 win

Took a hard hit with the Celtics, cavs surprised me last night.  Tonight I got 3 bets in so far.

Knicks +7.5.  I know they are hurting amd their bench is short but I think every one of these games will be close this series, that's a big spread.  Taking the fellas.

Added Brunson over 34.5 points.  There will be a lot of focus on him but with OG out there will be more shots to be had.  He shoukd get up around 30 shots tonight I like his chances of hitting 35+ points

Wolves -3.5 I'm not entirely sold but they looked unstoppable in Denver, can't be any worse at home right?  That's a tight spread.  Small bet on them because I'd like to see Denver win and extend this series.

Good luck and go knicks.

Looks like both your bets finally hit!
Yes Sir.
Boston Celtics - Cleveland Cavaliers - Cleveland Cavaliers (11.5) - Win!
Oklahoma City Thunder - Dallas Mavericks - Dallas Mavericks ML @2.65 - Win!

And this bonus.

But damn, I should've pulled more courage and took that x9.00 of the Cavaliers before the start of the game. It's calling me, like my instincts is trying to tell me to just put a bit of money on that odds and yet I didn't listen.

Crazy day. Both teams stole a homecourt advantage from their opponent on both series.
Donovan Mitchell was on fire for the Cavs.
PJ Washington for the Mavs.

Later 2 games. Here are my picks.
Indiana Pacers - New York Knicks - Indiana Pacers (-5.5) They need this confidence builder from their fans especially Haliburton. He seems to be not on his normal aggressive aura.
Minnesota Timberwolves - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets ML @2.42 - They cannot go 3-0. They need to steal a win from the Wolves home.

Good luck everyone.
