We have early games again.
3 games at 5PM forum time and another 2 games 6PM forum time. Yes, 3 hours more and its tip off.
I might not be able to watch the game because I will be sound asleep at that time. I'll just check the results in the morning.

New York Knicks vs Charlotte Hornets
Knicks -5.5
Over 210.5
Miles Bridges of the Hornets will still miss this game. (Covid related)
I got GSW at ML above @1.9x, I think the spread -3.5 is around 1.8x right?
It was 2.08.

We have a total nightmare with double-digit spreads all over the place. But first, let me point out which games you should avoid at all costs: Golden State and Memphis. As mentioned above, today's games are meaningless, these two face off on Sunday, with the winner taking the 8th seed. Both teams will rest their starters, Memphis' entire starting lineup is out, while GSW will be without Curry, Green, and Wiggins. You're better off staying put unless you want to back the Kings or Pelicans, just my two cents.

~snip
You got that right. Both teams won their game but cannot cover the spreads. 1 point lead win for the Grizzlies and just 3 point win for the Warriors.
I am at -3.5 spread which sucks.  Grin They had the good start and even went to 16 point lead but unable to preserve it. Jordan Poole with his career high 38 points.

I had Nuggets and 76ers on a parlay and that's enough to cover the losses from the Warriors bet.
Should've added the Jazz game. Cheers for your wins also.

Wizards also cover the spread, was able to bet when the line is -8.5 and then jump to -9.5. Good thing is that they cover it win a good lead, 15 points. I was afraid of the Nuggets and Sixers as they might ease on this game. But good call on your end, congrats.

I simply took Cavs ML today at@5 odds and I'm feeling happy about it. I did not place much but I still don't trust Wizards because they concede too much points in their games and Cavs are always speculating this kind of teams who are playing super offensive. It's a risky bet I know but in my opinion I did the right choice and the game is about to begin.

76ers -4.5 1Q / 76ers -8.5 1st Half @1.81 and 1.87 lost on the 1Q, winner on the FH spread

Sixers need one more win to secure the 1st seed in the East, why not take care of business in the first half vs. a trash team and rest your guys in the second half and give them even more time before the playoffs start. Sixers and Magic played once already, let me cite the score for you: 1Q 38:22 PHI, FH 75:40 PHI Cheesy

Wizards ml + Nuggets ml + Sixers FH/FT @1.79 won

Motivated spot for all three teams here, Wizards need one win to secure their play-in spot, and even though the Nuggets are missing players today, i have no doubt they will win if Jokic and Porter Jr. play.

Russell Westbrook's special comes @ 1.65 (20pts/12ast/10reb) Grin won

Golden State Warriors versus New Orleans Pelicans.
GSW -3.5
Over 222.5
Spurs won twice against the Pelicans the whole season so even if they tie and win both their last games there is no chance to take the 10th spot.
Warriors and Grizzlies on the other hand are also tied on the 8th and 9th spot. If both teams win or lose their respective game tomorrow, we will witness the tiebreaker on Monday where they will play against each other. (1-1)
Cheers!

It's the best game to watch tomorrow, I'm rooting on the Warriors to win as well as they are one of the hottest team now. I'm wondering why the line is just -2.5 now, this looks like a trap, I believe Zion Williamson is already out in this season, so what chance the Pelicans have to beat the Warriors here?

Not sure what, but without Zion the chance of winning is small against the very hot Curry's leading Warriors! I would love following this handicap
and see how things will work out tomorrow.

Love seeing those rainbows coming from different sides from whoever will take it from the GSW,

Good luck bettors!

I edited my post and added something. Maybe that's the reason why the spread is low. The game is not relevant win or lose.

Dallas vs Toronto.

Toronto has no chance to be in the playoffs, so I don't think they will play hard here.
Dallas should win here as they need this win in order to keep their rank.

However, I'm quite concerned about the line, it's too high, -13.5 now. and though I believe they will win, will they win the handicap as well?
I need your opinion on this pick, will I go for the spread or will just go for the total?

Dallas will be with a full squad here while the Raptors might be resting their starters so if that happens the Mavs will cover this spread.

The dangerous thing here is some Raptors veteran would suit and ruin the party, i mean the Mavs will win but it's not a blow out game.

I usually stay away from this game if there are lot of uncertainty so better go for the total.

I agree with you, it's not worth betting on this high handicap as these bench players who will be given more playing time here will also play hard. And once the Mavericks also have a comfortable lead, they might sit their starters if they are already guaranteed with a win and that might result in Raptors covering the spread. Betting take the total, but I can't say if its gonna be over or under.

Almost win by the Blazers, but it's good that they cover the spread.
Congrats to the winners, Blazers playing well but that last 2 FT of Covington did not sink in, I hope he is okay now as he will surely think of that missed.
That 2 FT is really critical, if he made it, they will be up by a good lead and just need to play good defense in the dying seconds for the win. But what can we do, for us we made a bet to cover the spread, we won already. I'm sure that we will be somewhat impacted by that missed, but they need him to forget about it and focus on the next games against the Nuggets.

Let's forget about that too...  Grin

Anyway, as usual, sharing my pick, early this time.

Game: Wizards vs Cleveland Cavaliers.

The wizards need to win this game, Beal still out in this game but I believe Westbrook and the company can take care of the business.
Wizards by the way lost the last 2 games, but they are at home and I think they will dominate the cavaliers.

Therefore my pick is. Wizards -7.

Tonight I have 1 game in mind, pacers and bucks over 241.  I can see this game ending in the 250 to 260 range.  Bucks should win this one but one thing is for sure it will be a fast laced game.  Still looking g at some other lines but this one jumps out at me

Congrats @wheelz1200 ... it was an easy win, the total points made in this game were 275.. higher than your prediction but what matter is you win your bet. Both teams are shooting a high percentage and that made it easy to hit the over number. Giannis alone score 40 points, this looks like an all star game.  Smiley

My pick.

Game: Portland vs Phoenix.

It's a must-win game by the Portland Blazers if they want to secure a playoff spot and avoid a play-in tournament.
Though they are in a back-to-back game, I believe they will put the same energy here as this game is very important.

Therefore my pick is Blazers +4.5.. GL everyone!

This season I'd tend to favor the Suns in close matchups but I agree with your thought process here.  Portland is pretty much in a must win situation to keep them from potentially trading spots with the Lakers and having to be in the play-in tournament.  On the flip side the Suns have been playing terrible lately.  I actually believe they're purposely not making their best effort in order to avoid injuries, as this post season is extremely important to them if they want to keep Devin Booker in a Suns uniform.

So I'd feel pretty safe following your bet.  On the flip side Phoenix might be sick of their losing streak and Portland might be exhausted with all the effort they've been putting in recently to win, so who's to say...

It was a win for us although the Blazers loss in the game, they really wasted the opportunity to win, they are already very close but a mistake happens and they lose. Anyway, let's just back them again in the next game, of course if there's a spread and they will be a dog, let's take the + points. \

Almost win by the Blazers, but it's good that they cover the spread.

Looks like we were both wrong. The Suns snuck away with one tonight. Making the Lakers feel like they might have a chance to escape the play-in now. I’m feeling better about my home team now that they’ve shown they can beat a quality team that’s trying hard to beat them. Hopefully they keep this momentum alive heading into the post season.

Sabonis 15+ points; 7+ assists; 10+ rebounds @1.65 lost Sabonis injured himself in the 3rd

Sabonis has comfortably covered the above line six times in their last seven games. For the time being, he is my Westbrook 2.0 cash cow, and i like his matchup today against the Bucks, who haven't been covering spreads as of late, so the blowout aspect of the game is out the window, he should be playing his regular minutes. Since LeVert will not play for the Pacers, Sabonis will have even more touches and responsibilities on the court...to play-make, dish, and score for them. I'm thinking of taking him on the triple-double as well.
They sidelined LeVert with a last minute call. He was not on injury report yesterday and not even in questionable status.
Then Sabonis.  Cry Just when wins are needed, they start hurting themselves.
Early bets are really risky and I lost 2 of my bets just like that. Let's go Portland. Save me Dame.  Grin
Tonight I have 1 game in mind, pacers and bucks over 241.  I can see this game ending in the 250 to 260 range.
Cheers, you predicted it perfectly. It went over the roof.  Wink
Thank you Dame for covering the spread. They lost the game but I took back my losses from the previous game.
It sucks to be in Covington's place now missing those crucial freethrows.

Randle 8+ rebs; U230.5; Knicks +4.5 @1.92 won

I believe Knicks will win straight up against a team that had to play last night. Knicks, Hawks, and Heat are all still in contention for the fourth seed, which guarantees home-court advantage in the first round, i mean what better motivation, right? The first meeting between these two ended with 212 total points, i see it at around 220 tops today, Knicks' last couple of home games are all under 230, so that's that. As for Randle, he has had 8 or more rebounds in their last four games, + decent matchup vs San Antonio bigs, let's see what happens.
