The Nets have an up and down season so far with a couple of close/disappointing losses.
I wouldn't say i trust them much but Detroit is going to be without three of their point guards tonight. Reggie Jackson, DRose and Tim Frazier will not play, which leaves either Galloway or Brown run the point. Having a shorthanded backcourt should be a huge advantage for Brooklyn so I'm going to pick them to win.

Kings won on a game-winning putback layup with 3 seconds left on the clock, i guess being the best ranked defense (Jazz) would mean you know how to box-out people in the paint...well nope, Barnes got the tip over Gobert, Bogdanovic, and O'Neale.

Lakers shouldn't have won either, there was a huge call missed by the refs on the D.Green 3pt, Dwight was holding Seth Curry for at least three full seconds and no foul was called.

I'm not really feeling the Kings ML pick here, sorry!

Kings have the second-worst offense in the league avg just under 100ppg, playing against the number one ranked defense - Jazz.
SAC also have the worst point differential at -17 and they already lost to Utah by 28pts last week. They are not the same team from last year, sacking Dave Joerger was probably one of the worst decisions they've made as an organization.

Atlanta Hawks is +6.5 at home against the HEAT.

I'm staying with the HEAT as they clearly dominated the Hawks at home, even if they are playing at their home court but I just can't think of a big possibility that they will win since T Young is still not available in this game.

Clippers now proven just an mediocre team without Leonard, it could have been alright if Paul George was already playing with the team.

I agree with that, 24 hours won't be enough as there are fans who bought tickets early and they want to see the superstar of the team that's why they are watching, even though its played on the road, I am pretty sure there are still a lot Clippers fans or Leonard fans in Utah, and they will be disappointed not to see their idol.

I think they have to change this rule.

Clippers do not want to risk Kawhi this early NBA season. Travelling to Utah for many hours and then playing again in the very next day is exhausting. And Utah is another tough to beat team especially in their hometown. Tomorrow Clippers will be playing at home versus San Antonio. The Clippers will benefit Kawhi's rest for this another top team.

There is already a rule when resting players. I think the team only needs to announce it 24 hours before the game in order to inform the fans. 24 hours won't be enough to some because there are many fans that buy tickets earlier.

It's funny i was just about to post my parlay and saw your picks, we have almost the same games but with different outcomes.
I have the Blazers covering their -1.5 spread, Bucks -1.5 and Bulls +0.5. Steven Adams will not play for OKC, Jaylen Brown (+Kanter) is out for Celtics.
The other parlay that i have is riskier (Nets -3.5, Clippers +4.5 and GSW -6.5). Alec Burks and Willie Cauley-Stein will play for GSW making season debuts. Kawhi will not play, so Lou Will and Montrezl Harrell has to step up for the Clippers.
