Good luck with that. There's a slim chance Iggy gets finals MVP even if he stops Kawhi. Iggy ain't shooting 30 points per game in this finals. It's like a lottery if you win.

By the way, if Raptors win game 1, they have a good chance winning the finals as they also have home court advantage leading to game 7.

After so many second thoughts, I've decided to go with GSW to steal game one @ 2.07, Simply because I'll be missing the first half of the game and I don't wanna miss out if the Warriors indeed win the game.

Iggy is known to be a good defender, with his age, we can still see his athleticism, and Leonard is not that fast, he is just good with his shooting.
I guess that would be Iggy's job this series, stopping Iggy completely may not happen, but at least minimizing his output would already give advantage to the warriors.

I'd try to avoid betting before the game except if I'm going for Over/Under points total, I'll just go in with live bets.

Exactly, this is one of the reasons why I stand behind the Raptors in gm1. Bucks also had a 10 day rest before their first game with Celtics? They were so out of the rhythm and shot terribly from 3pt, I think it was under 20%. It's hard to simulate a real game tempo with training sessions only and for shooters, that's very important.

I think Drake won't target Steph or Klay, rather he will try to get under the skin of Draymond (who as a matter of fact has been pretty quiet so far, no tech fouls, no dumb plays).

Raptors is still on celebration mode come game 1 just like what happen during the first game of the Raptors-Bucks series. Too much Warrior's firepower that the Raptors can't handle so my pick is ML Warriors @1.7. I think game 2 is where the Raptors have a chance since they will adjust what is necessary after the first game.

Those are some interesting tidbits. Thanks for posting as soon as you found out about kevin durants status about possibly playing in game 2.
I think toronto will take game 1 as they have all the hype and momentum going into the match on thursday while the warriors have been off waiting and probably anxious to get playing. They will be stiff and out of sync I think while the raptors will be fit and ready to rumble on their own court.

A well rested and determine Warriors will be tested once more, not sure how this will work for both teams, but with that handicap, it's really tempting to try that out and see if how the homecourt advantage will play with this series, how the defending champ will work with Kawhai, either Iggy or Green will defend him.

Anyway, it's a testing game 1 for both teams, will watch closer to assess much better. Good luck guys.

Wow, would have thought the Warriors would be heavier favorites than that. Even without Durant they are clearly the best team in the NBA.

I think the Warriors are a bit overvalued for game 1. However, a lot of things can change after game one, It's left to be seen If Warriors can steal a win on the road from the first two games, If they do so I'm sure they will heavy favourites for 3 and 4 and probably game 5 too (If there is any)

Who else looking forward to an interesting Finals and not a one sided sweep ? I'm not referring the Warriors fans here.

First game of the series would be in the 30th if i am not mistaken so they have a lot of time to rest.

Iggy is an excellent defender, he and Green would play a major role on containing Leonard while the splash brother will take care the offensive load. This could be another sweep for the Warriors because there is no other player from the Raptors who can score heavy if Leonard will be depended well.

Yeah, that was on 30th and the Raptors will have a good rest before the game 1 starts.
They will have time to celebrate as I'm sure they are already celebrating now.

Warriors needs to win at least 1 game to gain the home court advantage, and I think if they will win, they would likely get it in game 1.
