Slightly off-topic,
While we wait for this short "break" to end, here's an
article about Tim Donaghy. The ref who with his questionable foul calls in favor of certain teams was able to influence the outcome of many NBA games. A lot of stuff has been written and discussed over the years, it's on ESPN's main page today. To be honest, it's a very interesting read. Give it a go.
That was an old news, I'm a fan of that news until now.
I believe that NBA is fixed so this league purely provide entertainment rather than a real game.
If we want to see a real game, we should watch games in Olympics but since NBA is controlled by a group of people
that has the agenda to sell their business, fixed games always happens.
They will market players who are popular and give them favors on calls, this way they will grow and business will progress.
I believe also that they have a share from big sports book so they have a reason to manipulate games.
