If you are really looking for a safe wallet then go for a hardware wallet because that is the best way to keep your cryptocurrencies to avoid getting hacked by the hackers because your wallet is physical and also offline and it is not like the paper wallet that you can use once because you can use it how many times you wanted to use it.

I hope that the OP can choose the wallet which we suggest in here so he can try one by one for the wallet and I hope that he can use not just one wallet to save the bitcoin. I think that it will better for him to choose desktop wallet, android phone wallet, or even hard wallet like trezor so he can feel safe to keep his bitcoin. and I hope that he can save his private keys to a save places that only he will know.

Indeed, there may be no sure solution for everybody, due to the fact some human beings have different purposes about bitcoin evaluate with others.
Depends on your motive, whether or not bitcoin might be for lengthy-time period investment or only for a brief term? In which do you live?
For beginners, the first-rate region to buy bitcoin is through local exchanges in your united states as it's less difficult to deposit fiat currency.
If you are searching out every day online wallet, I suggest blockchain. Data, as it appears so accurate concerning transaction charges right now, compare with electrum. You can download it to your cellphone in play shop or App keep in case you want to.

The current blockchain I see is the most used.  And you should also use a hardware wallet if you have a lot of bitcoins

My suggestion you use blockchain, but it's up to you to use blockchain or not. Because I think the security blockchain is the best in the appeal of the other wallets.

There are three best and secure wallet for me, it's the paper wallet, offline wallet and the hardware wallet. On those three wallet the most used but expensive is the hardware wallet but there's a guarantee that your bitcoins is secure. I suggest you to also search for the wallet available in your country 'cause I think it is better for you to use.

At this case, I recommended you to use hardware wallet to keep your coin safely.  You can also use Coinbase wallet.

If you want a safer wallet, it is not free. You will have to buy the wallet. it called hard wallet.
Store your bitcoin there, and you will apart from wallet steal or hack. never expose your mnemonic seed phrase to anyone or any website.

Indeed, there's no certain answer for everyone, because some people have different purposes about bitcoin compare with others.
Depends on your purpose, whether bitcoin will be for long term investment or just for short term? where do you live?
For newbies, the best place to purchase bitcoin is through local exchanges in your country as it's easier to deposit fiat currency.
If you're looking for normal online wallet, I recommend blockchain.info as it seems so good regarding transaction fees right now compare with electrum. You can download it to your phone in play store or App store, if you want to.

I agree it very much depends on your interest. I saw do some research for yourself and go with what makes sense for you.

I really like the CoinPayments Wallet service. They're a merchant payment solution but their wallet is the best online for storage of Altcoins. They've been around since 2013, integrated with Shopify, Woocommerce and Coinbase.

They have about 450 coins, support trezor, google 2FA and i hear the ledger nano is coming soon as well. Very secure and have the most coins supported by far.

I'm a happy ledger nano s and cryptosteel user. It's not that cheap, but it's worth it.

I am planning to buy this one too, though it is quite expensive but I consider it as an investment. Thanks for the feed back, I have contacted already a supplier and will be transacting soon. As an advise  to my fellow here, I think a hardware wallet is preferred especially if you want to have a long term hold of your coin.

Try myetherwallet, it is very easy to make and has multiple security options of your choice. You can also check its credibility through reviews but I must say it is really well established and reliable, that is why its the only wallet I use ever since i started venturing through bitcoins.

The best wallet is electrum desktop wallet....you cant get better than this i am 100% sure...its fast and secure both..you can hold your bitcoins on it as well as use it for regular transactions

It is not the best but one of the better wallet out there, the best wallet will always be the one coming from the main developer of Bitcoin , though it requires us to download the full blockchain which is kinda annoying since it will eat huge space of bandwidth and storage space.  I also use electrum for its function of extracting the private key and enable us to make backups and retrieve it with the private key extracted anywhere and anytime.
