What are you guys currently doing ? Still buying at 65-68k ? Waiting a for a while ?

Thank you all, and have a great day !
Yeah, have a great day same as you.
First, there's no point in waiting, you can invest any time you want but with this bullish trend, I suggest not to invest all your money, only the amount that you can afford.  Because we don't know what will happen next, Bitcoin price could be reached at $100k within this year or next year, so nobody knows when it will exactly happen, and if you invested at $65k and when next month Bitcoin price reaches $100k, for sure there's your profit in that way.  Just buy what you can afford because nobody can answer your question since it's unpredictable the price.

There's a lot of people still buying at this point and most of them are hoarding Bitcoin.  If you always doubt the price that it will drop and see the market that we are again in the bullish trend, it's hard for you to jump in.  Invest at your own risk.

It's always your own choice actually whether you take the risk buying at its peak or maybe wait for a while because certainly, there will be an incoming price correction whether we like it or not. For me, knowing bitcoin price will keep on moving upward despite of the price correction, if you really have the budget then why not? If you don't want to miss opportunities like this, then go for it, but you should know how to deal its high risk. But if you are quite hesitant with its current price, then you can also wait for a price correction to appear so that the price will dump a little and you can make a big purchase that will eventually give you massive profits in time.

From my believe I think Bitcoin is still very cheap of you are holding for long term, if you are holding for long term you don't have to be scared of buying bitcon you don't have to be scared of drop in price that's happening currently just buy and hold but if you are short trader you have to study the chart carefully.

For averaging your buying price levels, no prices are high or low to keep on buying. The main purpose of DCA is, not missing out dips compared to future prices. So, you need to keep on buying regularly so that you could enjoy big profits when bitcoin attains its final ATH.
I agree stopping in the middle will definitely ruin the purpose of doing dollar cost averaging. Practically you will be feeling good when you are buying at lower than your previous buy levels and at the same time when you keep on buying and you happen to buy at higher than your previous buy levels then you may not feel good which is the reason some people are having small pause in their DCA plans.

If you are not comfortable with your regular buying then you may save money with the expectation of dips to happen. Sometimes your wait might last infinitely which is the reason regular buying without comparing price levels is highly recommended as that alone will serve the purpose of the DCA.

I've been doing DCA with BTC. I've stopped doing so at 2 weeks ago, at 59k. Thought it was getting high to buy.

What are you guys currently doing ? Still buying at 65-68k ? Waiting a for a while ?
What makes you to stop right now from buying bitcoin because there are lots of speculations about getting into $80k to $95k price levels in coming months hence when considering such big price price levels, you must keep on buying as per your initial plans because that alone will get you best of doing DCA.

For averaging your buying price levels, no prices are high or low to keep on buying. The main purpose of DCA is, not missing out dips compared to future prices. So, you need to keep on buying regularly so that you could enjoy big profits when bitcoin attains its final ATH.

Hey guys,

Lately, I've been putting a lot of work to educate myself toward Bitcoin, going through ressources from hope.com / 10hoursofbitcoin.com / Essays / Well document articles...... im officially down the rabbit hole.

I have the feeling that i am starting to understand deeper what Bitcoin truly is, what it brings, how it changes everything, what hope it brings, and mostly, how HONNEST it BTC is.
I am more and more amazed by it, to the point that i've lost almost any interest toward any other crypto «currencies».

To put it in other word, i want to add more bitcoin to my portfolio but with current near ATH price, i am not sure how to proceed from here.
We all know buying at/near ATH is not the best move. On the other hand, people will suggest « DCA DCA - long term long term».

My last buy of bitcoin was when it is at the price of $50k, after that I didn't buy any single bitcoin.
My plan is to purchase more when the price is less than $50k.

Seems like you'll be fine, goodluck on trading Smiley

I know, a lot of people have opined that it doesn't really matter what price you're buying provided you're in it for the long haul. However, nothing says you can't wait and get in at a better entry which should be a lower price compared to what it's at the moment to get more value. For me, I think you should wait for dump to the $57k-58k region to buy in. Don't doubt, Bitcoin is likely to get there to retest that region before pushing up to a new ATH. In the crypto industry, patience is a virtue.

You are looking in 1 Bitcoin over 21 million of it or right now I think 18m in circulation. You might want to look at the other side of it by satoshis.
Waiting might get you in trouble of missing out on the boat and then regretting it in the long run. I think most users here do feel that and some even made a thread about it.
Now, if you really know where the market will flow, you can wait. If you think the price will still move down at a substantial amount then go wait for it.
But if you don't have any idea about it then just buy and let the future decide where it will go which IMO will go north.

In my own assessment, the price of bitcoin for the last month the price moved only in between 55000$ to 63000$ something. And now when November came in the price suddenly moved again in between 60, 000$ to 68000$, and there is a prediction also that before end of this month the price will turn into 90,000$ something, So I think, the price value so far still cheap in my own opinion.
Actually, if we watch bitcoin price movement, the price increase steadily although not jump directly so I think it is good for the price to reach every high price step by step.
But a few days ago, we saw the price jump from a lower price to a higher price and reach $68k-$69k but then, the price is back to the lower price.
And now, the price is at $64k, which is good to buy or you can wait for a while because the trend is down and maybe there will be another correction that can come tomorrow.
If you are okay with buying right now and consider buying more if the price still goes down, that will be a good decision as you can have more bitcoin.

Buying Bitcoin now is quite good in my opinion, because it is likely that the price of Bitcoin will indeed rise again in the near future.
So I highly recommend buying at a price of $63k-$65k, or if we want it to be safer, we can buy Bitcoin in stages. That means don't use
all the capital we have to buy Bitcoin at the current price, we can buy using 50% of the capital we have. We can save the rest first in stable coins,
so as not to be affected by a volatile market. If it turns out that the price of Bitcoin is getting lower below the price of $63k, we can buy
more Bitcoin with the remaining capital we have. But my prediction is that Bitcoin will not drop below the $60k price, because the Bitcoin support
price is very strong at $60k.
Yes, it is a good decision to buy bitcoin now but they do not have to buy at once because the price is still too volatile and can drop anytime.
They need to diversify their order buy too many low prices so they can get bitcoin at various low prices and if they can do that, they can do swing trading besides long term trading because that can give them a chance to make a profit in a short time.
I always suggested buying bitcoin in stages because that can reduce our panic when the price is down and we can get more amount at a low price.
Hopefully, $60k will be the support price to hold, not going down for more.
Indeed. Make sure if you'll going to buy, buy it during dip and sell if when prices pump. Buying Bitcoin now is quite good in my opinion, because it is likely that the price of Bitcoin will indeed rise again in the near future. But, you should mind off about the risk because this is something that do need up some consideration because there's still some risk on such decision you would make.

Buying bitcoin is always good, I know that it drops time to time but reality is that we should always be glad that it is here, I do not understand why people are worried about the price dropping all the time, it is something that will happen eventually, all you have to do is just let it be and it will recover from that. I have been in this world for a very long time now, I started closer to the very first day of it then today, so when I tell this there is a merit to it; BITCOIN WILL GO UP. I do not even mean now, I mean that no matter what price you buy it, if you wait long enough then you will profit and that's all you need to care about, nothing else.
Yeah its always good but you should mind off about the risk because this is something that do need up some consideration because there's still some risk on such decision you would make.

Even though it is flying out with colors but doesn't mean that it would really guarantee out on the upcoming future years to come.
No one knows on what future holds.

IF you do believe Bitcoin that much then its your choice but don't go all in in regards on this one.

Just responding to you through your topic sentence which actually called a headline, so come to my opinion, i think buying a cryptocurrencie or a particular cryptocurrency like bitcoin, what you have to do at first is to get the knowledge of how bitcoin is been stored or keep in wallet at first, because all this via knowing them will expand the knowledge of knowing when you can as well purchase bitcoin. So as a starter i will like you to buy when the price of coin is been depreciates in market value, so that by the end of the period of the investment they will be a profit. shall actually provided that you wants to invest via long time frame no amount you buy bitcoin you can't realize it in quantum's.

In my opinion, it depends on what strategy you have. Personally, I might wait for the price to drop first, because when there is ATH, there will most likely be a correction like today. It would be great if you could target a price below $60k.
however, if you believe in the development of the bitcoin price, then entering at the current price is also not a problem. it will be very difficult to make a decision when you continue to see the price of bitcoin going up, especially when the price has actually crossed the $65k range. Many people have speculated that the bitcoin price will hit $100k in early 2022. having it at its current price isn't too bad. however, it all comes back to the strategy you made.

You should not stop for any reason; you must continue and you will feel good when you see bitcoin prices hittinh $100k/200k levels. For most people what they do is to spread out their buying:  that means for a period like a week or a month they keep buying a particular amount and storing in their wallet, and as time goes on this amounts accumulate and the more cryptocurrencies they have the more their able to gain more profits in return.

But, if you’re the type that is not in the position to be buying Bitcoin in a manner like this, you can just be looking for the right time to buy it and hold for the long term. I’m aware that you said that you are into long term holding, and that’s good . Right now I wouldn’t say that you should buy, since you already have some coins in your wallet, maybe it’s just best to have patience for some time. But I do believe that the market will still go up.

if you want long term dont buy from the ATH because its not safe, always remember that afterwards there's always a correction of the price and because as well of FOMO., always keep in mind that crypto is like a roller-coaster.. so better to wait for the correction and if you see a strong support level and the price keep respecting it then its a sign to buy.. Must have risk management and discipline if you want to become successful when it comes investing in crypto currency..  Just keep learning because it's a big advantage..
Its always an edge if you can buy bitcoin at its dip price so you can have higher profits in the future. But never think that since you are seeing bitcoin price at the moment which is very expensive then you should not buy at all. Of course, this is still a good buying moment. You don't need to buy the whole coin, maybe a portion in it is already a good start to watch its value and see how far the price can go. Being a long term holder does not create big issues on bitcoin's volatility, as long as you are not selling your coins when the value is lower than the price you bought it, then you will never experience losses.

Maybe you should ask yourself what's your goal in buying Bitcoin. If it's for long-term investment, and you don't have any plan to sell in the next 5 years or so, just keep buying and follow your plan.
The above is extremely relevant as it would help put you into one of the two categories; short or long term holder. Only long-term believers enter when they see an opportunity without thinking about the 10% ± they could have had, as in the end that difference will be insignificant.

With such a position it is not a question of when to buy but should be a question of how much to buy, right? Because the worst thing you can do is not be in the market at all.
