My feeling tells me that it is what can be great!! would also like to contribute something but my english is not so good and pc skills also rather modest.
But what I can do is to make known NEM.

I like this coin mock-up. Could you make it to silver theme and some some kind of curves or detail in the fill because mass block of solid color look dull to me.
Also to all: prepare your version of currency symbol. Logo and currency symbol should go together.

This one is just initial sketch. I will further develop this (vectorise, smoothing corners etc) and it should be readable in very small size too even better than now. So feel free to use this already if you find it useful. But there is more finesse to come! I bet having a logo on frontpage will attract more people

Hi all - here come some answers:
- development stakes will be earmarked for contributions to NEM development following development milestones.
- there will be time limit- it will be clearer abit later
- Ethereum is a completely different animal- a gigantic monster while NEM is just a small litter humble puppy. But we will see.
- Stake holder list is almost done. Everyone can use that to check their space. Stay tuned for a very important update later today or early tomorrow at the latest.

I am looking roughly at 3000-4000 stake holders for 4 billion NEM. I have a plan for you to get your stake via your user account. You would need to access the user account

I registered somewhere on the first 20 pages but did not hear back.. it would be good to conduct a list of people who got in in the different stages, maybe on the main post. Additionally of course you could also send a PM as a confirmation.
In order to motivate people to spread the word and contribute to the project I think it is important to involve them.

Could investors buy more NEM's later to increase their stakeholding?

Completely Fair Distribution - Equal Shares for ALL -- that's our motto. Since NEM is proof of stake coin, all NEM will be available at genesis block and will be shared equally to all stake holders. After that market will decide the price of NEM.
Read earlier posts to see my thoughts on investor issue. The goal is Equal Shares for ALL (accounts).
Will that include you? I think it's fair that even the founder of the coin get an equal amount as everyone else.
Including me. I have 1 regular account stake. But there will be 5% NEM developement stake. Stay tuned.

I agree with NEM being more then just a simple clone. As many of you've said it will probably only be positive for the growth of nxt

It is interesting all are talking about how much each one will get. How to secure their stake on the genesis block.
BUT
Why don't start with discussions on features that differentiate NEM from NXT ...
What makes it unique and outstanding...
Isn't that crucial to lift off and keep flying with NEM?

For sure, algorithms for defining a fair algorithm and truly secured tx mechanisms and so on, for me, NEM should provide a very robust runtime solution.
- It should be easy for 'users' to use and work with NEM.
- We should avoid code drops, which are unstable, breaking td-block chains like it happened with some other crypts. Otherwise, reputation hits rock bottom.
- Mechanisms should be included to communicate program problems to the dev comm.
- UI should be intuitive for regular users not having deep knowledge crypto-stuff
- We need a broad base on forging 'servers', yep NXT has it but try to get it up and running stable on different platforms. IT IS a nightmare today!!

建议大家去投那些真正靠谱的，比如说XCP，代码就在那里，客户端已经出来，虽然没有GUI，但是能够用命令行正常的发送、接受和查询XCP，不管你懂不懂编程，很多专家在那里。再说一句，此帖子很可能是中国人搞的哦，看着帖子英文的风格就看出来了，本人在美国工作了10年，这点还是能看出来的。请不要用那蹩脚的英文在这里欺骗老百姓！
