But Nxt AE is still a safer place to store the stakes and you don't need to worry about that your BTT accounts might be hacked one day.

yup.. if you dont want to use the AE then its ok.. just wait until real coins are launched and no problem.
this is more just a way for small buyers to be able to buy nem if they cant afford the auction. we want to include everyone. not just those who can afford a bench mark

1 token = 1 NEM. From some of those extra stakes, so no need to touch the stakeholderlist at all. Make x million tokens available on NXT AE. That gives something to watch until launch and price is set when launch-day arrives.

For current NEM stakeholders, if you want to have NEM stake asset tokens issued which are convertible to Nemcoin after we launch, then saying something here. It will be via Nxt asset exchange. If there are a lot of demand then we will issue the asset tokens. For that matter, if you want to issue tokens via counter party protocol, we can do it too if there are high demand.
The rules will be made clearer if there is indeed a big demand to issue tokens.
Add: I should make it clearer that current stakeholders could be issued the tokens on demand, but it is not for selling more NEM shares. Technically it is a temporary transfer of NEM stake ownership from my Google sheet to Nxt asset exchange.

Yes - very good idea not only for the reasons which others have already set out but also because it demonstrates cooperation between different cryptocurrencies/platforms to the greater benefit of each and more generally the whole cryptocurrency movement - i.e. we're maturing as an industry and therefore becoming increasingly credible as a serious alternative to fiat and centralised financial control.

Not sure how it will work, but I would like to see stakeholder distribution list moved to Nxt asset exchange for various reasons
(1) Less risk of losing the stake by getting banned from BTT
(2) Stakeholders can sell their stakes (or partial stakes) if they want without any third party involvement
(3) Safer. I am pretty sure someone who have access to BTT server can read messages. Is it really secure to use BTT messaging system to distribute Nem?
Lets have 3 billion assets on the asset exchange. Stakeholder post their Nxt ID here and get one million Nem shares (just like the original plan) They are free to sell parts of it if they want.
Once Nem is released, the shares can be convertible to actual Nem
