They came in the spirit of partnership and are paying for the event so NEM is not financial forking out anything. They are also inviting their community and it is a chance to present NEM. Would be good to see where this leads to.

Just bought a "bag". Chart looks sweet, plain and simple.

But, taking more interest into XEM and looking on Coin Market Cal. I see NEW has a event in December and without having to trawl through pages to find it, can someone here give me the juicy details of what "Catapult" is please and if it will be launched by the end of the year.

My only worry is what happens when supernode rewards drop to zero overnight in just over a year afaik ... that scares me a lot!

There has been talks in the past about lowering the requirements for supernodes and most likely a new node reward program will be built.

This is a very good idea, stable coins are a medium term phenomenon before crypto adoption is widespread enough to challenge fiat and people can survive transacting in only crypto, but the medium term could be 20 years. Stable coins are very attractive for many users, especially traders, and people who want to avoid cashing out through exchanges that require privacy loss. A NEM stable coin would be awsome!

mmmm, i agree except for one thing.
Stable coins are not very attractive for traders in my opinion. Traders want that their coin rise in value to make profit..

NEM is different, NEM will rise once distribution is more fair and even.
