Just to let you people know:

The problem CECVW faced was due to using a very old testnet version of the NEM software.
All his private keys are valid and he can access his stakes once he installs the current version 0.6.42.

That's clearly the devs fault. This is a fucking SCAM !

patmast3r Can I suggested to keep quiet and behave in a professional manner like BloodyRookie.

Thanks BloodyRookie  I am travelling now I will check when I come home.

Wow!!!

That is very lucky for you CECVW.  Hahahaha

@bloodyrookie, that was really awesome that you 1) took that time as a dev to look into the problem and fix it for CECVW while at the same time being attacked constantly, and 2) handled yourself in a very respectable and professional manner.

Dear NEM Team,
today i read the distribution is finished but i never got a real answer to my case. You put me on the socks list before launch.
I sent several pms to makoto and patmast3r months ago waiting patiently for a reply and a solution.
I offered indentification or other evidence that i am a real person. We were three original stakeholders. We share a flat and a busisness computer which we use for crypto related things as well.
My friend MartiniBlanco received his stake with nemesis block. I was put on socks list. Im also not very active here. The third friend who lived with us sold his stake early on nxt AE.
We kept ours and support Nem for over 1.5 !!! years now! Why didnt you even talk to me? Why dont you follow your own principles of fairness and transparency?
I am very disappointed not to say angry right now and hope you will solve this problem...
Its very sad you put technical evicence over real life. The original stakeholders are your foundation. Please dont forget that. And! I also paid for my stake.
Please manage my case and any case in this regard with serious and honest intention. Thank you.
Here is my NEM adress: NDEELK-JUL4RJ-MH2A2I-UQ45ED-S6ZGDZ-7ORPGC-WAHA
Looking at the data, it seems your sock appeal was rejected. The account was linked to much more than just MartiniBlanco. Also, it was linked by IP to aluman, so your mention of MartiniBlanco seems to suggest admitting to more than 2 stakes, which is why the appeal was rejected. Sorry for the inconvenience, but don't take it personally.
As of 7/22, all redemption is now closed.
What??? Makoto are u serious now Huh Me and my friend MartiniBlanco wrote to you several times explaining the situation. Who or what is "aluman"?? Linked to much more?? What do u mean??
What does it mean: " it seems your sock appeal was rejected." it seems?? Does that mean the investigation is ongoing, not finished. In any legal case, this would not be enough for any evidence! But you deny me my stake, cause it SEEMS i am a sock puppet?! Seriously???
As I stated in my post and in my mails to you we were three friends: MartiniBlanco, masta23 and me koanado. Everyone of us has its own btt account as you wished. Of course not every one is is as active as others.
We live togehter and do business together. We share a business computer with which we do all crypto things as well. Im not a tech pro but i guess that explaines the same ip, doesnt it? Why didnt u try to find out whether im real or not after i reached out to you several times!?!? i suggested this as well!!!
Again: We were 3 and only 3!! friends who signed up and paid!!! as original stakeholder!! To put me on the socks list, saying everyone has the chance to explain themselves and it will be investigated and then just come around and say: sorry you were rejected, cause the data says so. dont take it personally is a big fat joke, isnt it???
You said be patient, cause everybody is busy at NEM Team. I was patient, didnt want to spam you. But i heard nothing from u till now!!
Thats not right!! This is not fair!!! This is not what NEM stands for!! Be a decent business partner and pay out my stake!!! I dont accept anything else! I am honest, I am legit, I come with best intentions! Dont treat me like a criminal now!! I await your statement!!!
Thank you very much!!!

PS: You are really upsetting a loyal supporter here. I live in Berlin, Germany. We have the biggest crypto scene in germany here. Me and espacially MartniBlanco already made a lot of marketing for nem. With my stake i wanted to support a local Tea Shop and decentralized organization for economic change. I convinced them to start using NEM as a means of payment once its launched and i have my stake, so they can try it out and test it. Well, saying just to let you know what happens when kill a supporter just by looking at your "DATA" and not talking to real humans!!! I guess thats the same what the NSA does or am i wrong!!!

Koanado they have handle really bad many cases accusing innocent people of socks just by having same IP address as people , friends, colleagues, family  that  live or work in the same place can have NEM as they talk to each other and told each other to get at stake, what it seems a member of the family has to go an internet shop just not to have the same IP address as his brother or sister etc, the same with a work colleague, he can not claim his stake from work as his colleague has a stake as well and need to go to a internet coffee . Makoto you said maximum 2stakes, I wonder how many you have , 50 stakes perhaps?  Fair distribution .We will find out soon

I don't know what to say. I am frustrated that you are not opening your mind to the reality that the sock analysis is wrong in this case. I assure you and everyone that I do not know the accounts you have linked to me. Maybe they will see this and comment. This is not a case of me trying to get another stake for a friend or four others as you say, I never got my one stake. I would like to think someone else in the dev team can take a look at it. You bluntly saying redemption is over is not fair.

I don't know the other folks. The analysis obviously gives false positives sometimes. As I said in the original claim pm, I was studying and using university computers a lot. Surely anyone else in that situation would appear as falsely linked. I would appreciate someone else in the dev team taking another look at it.

Edit: I also use privateinternetaccess on my laptop so presumably anyone else on the same connection has the same ip.

Same IP + same fingerprint means the same computer. The rules were 2 stakes, which were meant to be 1 for you and 1 for a friend/loved one.

Could you please check the status of my stake? I lodged my claim well before the redemption closed. I sent a pm as soon as I realised I didn't receive it in the initial distribution around April I think. I am at a loss as to why I was flagged as a sock in the first place. I was prompt through all stages of claiming tokens etc. I am a regular on the forum not someone who only logs in to complain about their stake.

Yes, it seems like you are marked as a sock.

IP was linked to weaknesswaran, which got a stake. Fingerprint was linked to spud3861, which also got a stake.
That was in round 2.

In redemption round 1, IP AND browser fingerprints were linked to spud3861, cremstopper, and cords51, which all got stakes. So in other words, you already have 4 stakes. That's enough.

choochimil has a lot of posts now, but at the time of the sock analysis, the account only had 10 posts in over a year.

Anyway, redemption and everything ended on 7/22. If you don't have a stake now, you will never get one from us. If you want to know if you have a stake, go look up your address on our blockchain explorer: http://chain.nem.ninja/

I am not Dorian Nakamoto.
Refunds ended last July or August as I recall.

It is not our fault that so many people would not follow the rules. The point was to get a fair distribution. Thankfully it worked and we are not being pumped and dumped.

They surely will reimburse people that paid for their stake and don;t get it. Not doing so is called theft. I am sure you will get your money back that you originally paid for the stake at least.

Yes I have the private key , but 0 coin in the account
Make sure you're looking at the correct account. When you import the private-key it will create another account (the one you just imported) so you need to switch to that account to see your XEM.
Does the client show the correct address (the one you registered) in the upper left corner ?
I know how is work, dev team put me on a sockpuppet case , and I haven't get my coin yet

Hi Jessica222, what is your NEM account number that you registered on the NEM website?

NCDOHU-VKDJJ2-L2A67X-GVS7WT-BOU76Z-3CR3FA-4ICZ
Also i have the token number, private key, and public key.
It's happened to my friends too.

I believe we are having the same issue. I am not the only one

Same to me,I speak chinese, I am not good at writing , I follow them more than one and half year, they dumped me at the end, funny.
