I think we are at an all time low for daily volume this can not be good. I think if some of this 70 active team members there claims to be were on here keeping everyone informed as to the progress things might be different.
you can look up the names of everyone and look up what work they have done. that 70 number is not a myth or a lie.
its completely normal that there would be a quite period after launch.. its not like a ground breaking software release is going to come out a few weeks after launch. if anything the lull should be a good sign, as nothing bad has happened to the network, no hacks, forks, no controversy, no devs running off, no internal thefts nothing, everything has pretty much gone to plan which is a HUGE success.. things are calm and work is still progressing on track afaik.. the lack of volume is a sign to me that dumping is over and the only way from here is up, assuming there is no massive screw up over the next weeks. i can understand the frustration due to the crypto world moving 100 miles an hour, any kind of lull can get boring, but silence in the current context i take as a very good thing because, in short... we are still here and nem hasnt fallen to pieces and dumping has stopped ie. theres no sock master with tons to continuously dump. just because we are going through an (expected) quite period, it does not mean that fire works are not coming.
the devs et al, could inform people of whats happening all the time and whats coming up, but thats pretty much just hyping nem and up coming stuff. if the devs are always informing of what is coming, it gives folks opportunity to "buy the rumor, sell the news" essentially pumping n dumping nem. if nem develops a history of just announcing stuff when its ready people will be afraid to not hold nem, because they know they wont get the chance to buy during the pre "hyping" period that alts normally go through and totally miss the boat when bombs are dropped(huge announcements are made). also nem wont end up missing deadlines and such which obviously looks bad.
anyway, im fine with this quite period so long as it doesnt drag on for ever. i expect things to pick up soon and we will see increased activity again. also proof that folks havnt lost interest is shown in the liberland currency vote, nem currently sits in SECOND PLACE. the only one ahead of nem is bitcoin with ~150 votes, only twice that of nem.. the community may be quite currently, but i dont think anyone has lost interest or faith due to the lull.. there just simply isnt much to discus right now.. but that WILL change. i have no doubt
