I have the software running smoothly since launch now, no crash and no errors 
I tested it on another machine which had only 1 GB ram though and it did crash there because it couldn't allocate enough memory. If anyone is running NEM on a 1 gig ram machine, make sure to run it with the 768 mb setting

There are 9 billion coins in existence.
2.25 million coins have been distributed to around 1500 individuals. This equals around 3.4 billion coins.
Who is holding the remaining 5.6 billion coins? I couldn't find this in the openeining post or in the blog quickly. Any links ?

Who's childish? I didn't say one single personal remark toward anyone apart from smaragaidiot who is the worst person on the whole forum.
I have a right to believe this coin is garbage, most people do but they held back until they sold their stake. It's the only reason this coin hasn't had FUD. Look at the vol, mostly selling hardly looks promising. This coin came out with a lot big ideas about a movemnent etc and now it's just an average coin. ie just sharing the truth, I would not take a stake if offer now, couldn't care less.

And also, I think is kind of logic, that currency that is freely distributed in rather closed community has automatically lesser value amongst their membrs. Same here, I think its a router problem with ports. But delegated harvesting is working, I found 7 blocks!

Voting isn't NEMs thing appearantly. Been on hitbtc forever and still not enough votes appearantly.
I have made sure at the time that NEM gets on hitbtc voting list! Now, after launch of NEM the interest in voting should be somewhat larger that prelaunch IMHO

If something isn't easy and needs a tutorial then guess what, it's not user friendly which is the first failure if you want any kind of adoption. The fault is the over complicated crappy software not the users.
I'm glad that cars are not adopted very much... I really don't know how driving instructors stay in business at all...Many people installed NEM client without a problem (myself included) especially if you follow very simple guidelines.
But thats probably because i read a few sentences in the tutorial. Didn´t hurt myself by doing that . .

If not - upon opening an account (after creating a wallet) in your client you will have an address with 0 balance.
You may start harvesting when you have at least 10000 XEM vested.
PoS/PoI (proof of stake/proof of importance) cryptocurrencies work significantly different than PoW (proof of Work) ones.
