I found a bug :

If at Create New Wallet there where to specify by Name of your wallet something from two words, or between words there will be some sign, for example a point, then there will be difficulties with such account. Therefore it isn't recommended to enter a name and a surname at creation, dividing a gap. Or a name and a surname, between them putting an end. It is better to specify in Name of your wallet only figures. For example 014578. Because if you will enter a name or a nickname in which there is a gap or my Mr.PortMan nickname (sometimes I put an end) is divided by a point, for example as, you will lose an account.

Now as soon as didn't try to rename two files with the .wlt expansions and (new) with the .abd expansion - that it is impossible. The account for some reason can't translate coins. Now the obligatory requirement to store both files with these expansions. If .abd is lost, or at creation in the column Name of your wallet to put something from two words, or between words there will be some sign, for example a point, or a gap, access to such account will be impossible then, or is possible, at different combinations of renaming of these two files with the .wlt and .abd expansions, but it won't allow to translate coins any more. There will be an error of type it is impossible to contact the wallet file or it is impossible to contact the address book file.

So be attentive, at an institution we specify in Name of your wallet only figure and any points and gaps. Coins are lost, it is a pity

Here such first bug found. I will look for further. And as coins those all are lost which to me sent before, it is possible to send still here to this new address (TABDE4-SOSLXV-BQW4CH-ZDKHNC-WG7V6C-GXV2X3-3OO3) which was already got correctly where only figures were specified in Name of your wallet.

Oh yeah, that is true. I assume he means actually receiving NEM though.

This is actually a milestone in NEM history!  If, and I have no doubt about it, multisig betatesting will go as planned, a bright future awaits for the launch of NEM.

Great work devs and ofcourse: Great work to the many people who are involved!

For the record - you have been able to CLAIM for months now. Actually recieving NEM is a different story. That will happen at launch.

Not NOW, but as soon as we finish beta testing multisig which hopefully will not take too much longer.

Thats sounds promising, basically people can protect their investments and spending via this way. Hopefully devs will set the launch date soon 

Wow, that is really amazing. It only costs $35 and not only can it run Windows 10, but Microsoft is also going to make Windows 10 Raspi version for free!

This is a huge game changer for people in poor countries.   They can go from no computer to Windows 10 and skip all that is in between.  Of course it will be slow and won't be able to handle much, but that is still pretty amazing. 

It also can run on a 5 volt charge.  That is pretty awesome.  We could run dozens or hundreds of NEM nodes for what it cost in electricity to run just a single Bitcoin ASIC (which isn't even a node but just a small fraction of one).

The one complaint I have is that I wish they would have bumped the RAM up to 2 gigs.  Maybe later there will be a 2+ version.  Other than that, I think it is an amazing job.   

I think later on when we get m of n multisig, I will make an offline private key.  Then I will turn my main account with all my NEM into multi-sig and make it a 2 of 3 account.  I will have my windows computer be one signer, my mac another signer, and then the third would be the offline private key.  I seriously doubt any hacker will be able to compromise both my windows computer and my mac, so I can know my NEM will be safe.  And in some weird situation where I lost the private key/wallet/password to either my Windows machine or my Mac, then I would be able to get the off line private key and recover the funds. 

Then I will have a small hot wallet for spending, and if it needs to be recharged, then I will send from the big account in multi-sig to the small account that is a hot wallet.   

With development of the (DAC) distributed autonomous organization NEM will be able to provide to people a free econemic zone. A certain analog of the offshore, only without the central power and the central levers of pressure in the crypto environment. Many world autonomous companies will be officially registered then not in the USA, not on Belize or BVI, and in NEM. The decentralized NEM network will become world financial center, the world offshore house for many companies and corporations working worldwide. Tools for conducting the international business in process of development of NEM will appear. Multisig it only first step. It will be more interesting further if developers take the main priority to do a network for people and first of all for the international business. Creating various convenient instruments of management.
