There was 0.4.48 release yesterday and we hit 100_000 blocks.
Most likely next relese will include multisig AND will involve blockchain restart (to prepare codebase bit more for launch).
(blockchain restart is also the cause why PoI competition is coming to the end).
Multisig won't be avail in UI in that release. If testing will go ok, we'll be preparing for launch.

It will be in the GUI at launch it just won't be in the the GUI in next release.

Proof of Importance competition will be come to an end on the 31st of December.
Anyone who makes a transaction after 9pm GMT on the 31st of December will be disqualified.
All participants will be notified via a message to their competition account so theres no excuse for making transactions after the deadline.

You guys need to release it soon. I have seen arguments that it is better to get the finished product, but in this space if you keep delaying it will become irrelevant no matter how good or polished it is.

Yup. NEM has seen huge growth from what was essentially nothing. It's clear to see that there's a number of people here who have intents to sell almost straight away - now of course i don't hold them against that, but i do believe they just see quick profit in their eyes and this is most certainly going to be their undoing - this is the biggest problem crypto's have in the altcoin space, and is precisely why we see so many scams, pumps and dumps, fudsters and other chaos. They're in it for the FIAT.
I'm certain that the less vocal among us who regularly spectate these discussions are likely in this for a much longer haul, and I like to think of myself the same.
While I agree, the problem is is someone makes this point in every thread about every coin.
I am hoping for once this one is different.
Yes but NEM is actually different just look at how many people are talking about it already and it's not even out yet! This thread (the 3rd or 4th NEM thread) is longer than most coin threads here on the forum at over 500 pages and it isn't even out yet. I'm telling you it is definitely different
