Hope I've done everithing right!!

No you haven't done it right.
Either your message is encrypted or you didn't include one at all.

If you have encrypted it you don't need to do anything. You only gave me some manual work to do.
If you haven't included a message at all pm me with the tx-id and a real NEM address.

Well, you got closer than some other people...

Edit:

Actually scratch that. That's the tx-id from when I sent YOU the asset. You realize what the process is don't you ?

NEM ....best currency distribution ever ...!!!!!!!
Can anyone suggest a browser that doesnt initially reject opening the client and doesnt give you a 'process' to go through and where you can ' copy and paste' addresses and public keys?

Anyone knows why nothing appears after I run "Yes, start the NEM client for me" from bob.nem.ninja/webstart ?

Immediately after I click it the tiny white/red Java coffee rectangle appears for 2 seconds, but after that nothing

(I have Java v8 update 25 installed)

Port problem or something?

OS ?

Win 7 x64

I'm 99.8% sure I didn't dabble with the old version, but it's been months and I might have forgotten because of so many coins. Can't rememember playing with it though.

I also can't find Users/me/NEM

Win 7 and Java 8 installed ist pretty much the perfect scenario so there really shouldn't be any problem.
Are you using Chrome by any chance ? Chrome doesn't want to execute the jnlp file but since you said you see that red Java rectangle flashing i thought you have to be at least past that poin.

Could you open the commandline and type "java -version" and tell us what it says ?

Go to java control panel click on advanced and select Show Console. Then fire up again and see what it says. Also the JNLP File/Mime Association make sure it's not set to "Never Allow". Look through all the various features and see it it makes sense to turn them off or on.

See if you have any luck from here.

Did you have the old version installed? If so, have you deleted it before installing the new one?

REAL NEM COINS??? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

There is already... in silver and in gold
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8446629

BTW: what means "9999 pure gold and 999 pure silver" ?
I have thought that eg. pure gold is too soft and a practical purity for gold would be 85 - 93 %.

It means what is written.

.9999 pure gold and .999 pure silver is only minted by a few places.  By industry standards, .9999 gold is 24 karat (24 karat meaning pure gold with miniscule microscopic impurities)

Sure you could get 100% pure gold but first you would have to molt it down and send it flying at the speed of light to remove that .00001% impurity

That 99.99 % was just so high ...
I was thinking if such gold is too soft for coins and at least 2 carats would have been "sacrified" to make the NEM goldcoin stronger Smiley

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold
"Because of the softness of pure (24k) gold, it is usually alloyed with base metals for use in jewelry, altering its hardness and ductility, melting point, color and other properties. Alloys with lower carat rating, typically 22k, 18k, 14k or 10k, contain higher percentages of copper or other base metals or silver or palladium in the alloy."

Is there any, even very very small possibility, that some two people generate the same address and private key using BETA? Is there some checking to not generate the same address?

Have you ever heard of that happening with bitcoin ?
It's the same kind of likelihood i think Smiley
I think its not per default the same as btc. It depends on the hash seed and the used rand generator. If this is implemented bad/wrong the possibility of collission could be higher. But we have to have trust in devs for many other things, so this doesnt matter more...

Yes I know. In NXT you need to announce your public key in the blockchain to be safe. As I understand, real address is only generated in BETA, but public key of it is not announced in the blockchain, as this real blockchain do not exist now and nobody knows, that some address is generated. What why I'm asking Smiley

Or I'm missing something? Smiley

I think there's a need to add information to say that the NCC will NOT show the REAL account after creating it.

People are expecting to see N* account after creation. Naturally.  Roll Eyes

Shouldn't this be obvious by reading the instructions?

https://medium.com/@xtester/phase-2-redemption-guide-3471550f8837

I use firefox. You say you will fix the ' copy and paste ' pop-up problem in next release. Will I have plenty of time after this release for redemption because I know I will make a mistake if I dont copy and paste?

You're prob better off just using a different browser.

Thats a bummer.

I recommend to use a portable browser, e.g. portable chrome from portableapps:
