If the klee hacker is not experienced / did not cover his trail, he very well could be caught.
Remember, Roger Ver offered a bounty of 37 btc for the head of his hacker and that was already a lot of money. A friend of the hacker wanted to turn him in for the money though police cut him first.
With this amount unforeseen forces could be set in motion.
