Anyone got a link to the original stakeholders list. A search just reveals the list that Utopianfuture posted which is no longer there.
tks
What specifically are you looking for? Are you looking for the NEM initially distributed at launch?

The original stakeholders list with the BTT names and the amount they received.
First block posted above is also a help. tks

Edit: found it

Cool
Can you please send it in PM?
Or here

Here ya go

Thnx!
Yup, those on the refund list could have profit with NXT too,
but for sure not that magic almost 1 600 000% gains in USD from 2016...

P.s.
I'm kinda new here
How can I earn merit?
Is it possible while having a "newbie" status?

* I've written about different statuses, terms of getting them, activities and so on. But didn't find about earning merit

You can have my merits, if that was possible. I don´t know what to do with them anyway.
But you can´t eat or otherwise befiddle them . . .   Smiley

Just sent you a couple. There is no formula for getting merit. Good constructive posts or helping someone out is the only way. You are on the right track

Would hate to be on the refund list (those that had a beef and asked for their few NXT back)

The genesis block is called Nemesis

There is only one account on NEM blockchain that can "create" XEM. But it is programmed to have an opportunity to give a signature to only one block. That's why there so many transactions from that account in the first block. All the XEMs were sent from it.

That account, as I mentioned, is programmed to sign only one and only block. So people sending xem to that account will never get them back. It's impossible.

Nem able to support a national currency?
NEM has a lot of advantages that puts it ahead of others, but is NEM actually up to the task for a big economy? Can it handle the needs of an entire national economy - banking, regulations, accounting, retirement savings, buying lunch, paying the babysitter? Of course all these would require new apps, but I'm talking about the blockchain network itself. Can NEM do it? Is there another blockchain that can do it better?

HAVUJA PERKELE!
NEM was great for the early investors but it hasn't done anything in terms of bitcoin value for 8 months. Might as well just invest in bitcoin.
You want NEM to outperform Bitcoin in every arbitrary time period of your choosing?

Last year NEM was one of the best performing crypto projects. See here https://www.fool.com/investing/2017/12/18/3-cryptocurrencies-that-outperformed-ethereum-in-2.aspx

The current downtread is mainly caused by the hack. $500 million is a huge amount of coins. The hacker is trying to sell the coins and this caused the dump.

Crazy how much some potential sell pressure can put down a great project like this..

I'm still hoping the hackers somehow reach out to coincheck and work out a deal to return the coins.

It seems unlikely a deal with be struck at this stage. The NEM foundation tried to track the stolen funds, but that seems to have been a wasted effort and the coins seem to be moving around freely. In the absence of leverage, the hacker is just probably going to sell those coins instead of trying to strike a deal with the exchange.

If someone is selling coins on popup exchange which is
running in tor network, i would not call it free sale.
I also would not touch them even with 7 meters pole.

Don't screw up your entire life with some illeagal profits...

You can do better.

'some'? It's more than 10% of circulating supply considering how much is locked in supernodes and foundation funds. It's the equivalent of someone trying to sell well over a million bitcoins, but that's an invalid comparison as the bitcoin market is far, far bigger. Even that would struggle big time, let alone a market as minuscule as xem.

If what they say is true then the gox hacked coins were sold over several years which depressed the bitcoin price all that time.

The hacker appears too dim to do a coincheck deal.
