How long does it take until the remote status is completely active? I activated it three hours ago and it is still in pending status 'activating'.
As i remember 360 blocks or 24 hours.

Sold most of my NEM over the last few days as I needed the cash. No regrets even if the price goes to $10. I still have enough to hold an interest in NEM and it still is one of my favorite coins with the biggest potential among the top 10
That is correct reason. And also "acceptable" - though of course you do not need other's acceptance
You have earned all that cash by hitting the importance peaks in the competence
NEM will surely rise to 2$ 5$ or 10. But there is no point against taking profits especially if needed. I advise everyone anytime to pay off their debt etc. And every sell always helps distribution

I agree. The great thing about NEM is that there is good wealth to be made no matter what stage of the coin's life you enter or exit. I sold off a bunch earlier in 2017 (when it had risen to 11 cents!) and paid off our vehicle and some other consumer debt. Sure, if I'd known it would have hit a Dollar a few short months later I might have held on, but to be honest I have no regrets. You can't buy the peace of mind that comes from getting rid of burdensome debt. We felt the relief almost immediately. Later when I had some free Bitcoin I bought some back at higher prices, though not nearly as much, and if I sold that now I'd be in profit again.
If you bought NEM closer to the beginning, it would be perfectly rational to sell some and take profits now. With that said, I would also be happy to recommend that anyone start buying it now as I believe it will go even higher. So, if you're selling some off to take profits now, it's great to know that you're likely selling to someone who is equally thrilled to buy, someone who is likely to make out really well down the road when it's their turn to sell.
I just love coins like that!

I find that NEM is going to be a very good long term hold. When I say long term hold, I am talking about 3-4 years you will see NEM appriciate in value. A lot of people including myself who do long term, the results will shock you if you have patience, your lookibg at a substansial increase if you just as they say in this market. "HODL"

Still very cheap so many news features are going to implement soon because this is still undervalued. I believe soon it will be on more high position I like the approach of dev team and their marketing strategy is also very effective.

Recently I migrated from standalone package (in portable mode) to the latest nanowallet and want to continue to use a full node (WIN 7). With nis-0.6.95 the ncc part with my wallet inside is outdated. When creating the nanowallet I get two folders (NanoWallet and nwjs) in C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local, so this is not really portable as ncc was. It's running fine but I have some questions:
- are there any start-options of the nanowallet to locate all folders in my own given datadirectory?
- how to start nis and nanowallet simultaneously? create my own start.bat ?
- where is the wallet file with my secret key located now?
