I can not understand

so many trips for dev NEM
so many deals

why price is DOWNNNNNNNN

I don't really think there is such a thing as an XEM market.

There is a Bitcoin market. There is an alt market. Many alts are still weak and news, especially good news which is never immediate, won't have any effect.

Seems to be very true. I saw this video with Richard Heart where he said that this market is completely irrational. Good news and delivery of technology milestones don't matter, which is completely weird. And it's the same for every single alt. Nothing special to XEM.

NEM had no big news, I think that is the reason.
Catapult is still not out yet, again no big news...
I think we have to be patient till Catapult will be out for the public chain or till some big business things will happen.

But I also don't understand the price movement of XEM Huh
Everytime when there is a big pump it gets dumped very hard!
Maby I am wrong but I don't see the same reaction so much on other altcoins!
Any idea where these big dumps coming from??

I tend to disagree. There are a lot of altcoins that get pumped and then dumped to even lower levels. It has been the case since the very beginning. Can you explain what Catapult exactly is? Thank you.

Appsolutely to use NEM blockchain to scale transaction rate for LoyalPlatform

https://www.cryptoninjas.net/2017/11/14/appsolutely-use-nem-blockchain-scale-transaction-rate-loyalplatform/

Appsolutely, a blockchain omnichannel loyalty solution, today announced a partnership with NEM, the smart asset blockchain, to scale Appsolutely’s LoyalPlatform for fast, transferable and secure customer loyalty redemption. Operating at 4,000 transactions per second (TPS), the NEM blockchain provides top processing speeds that can now be leveraged for transactions involving LoyalCoin (LYL), the currency of the LoyalPlatform.

Today also marks the launch of the Appsolutely-NEM Blockchain Center, an incubator, accelerator and co-working space for blockchain startups in Southeast Asia. The vision of the new center is to build a strong community that enables entrepreneurs to learn how to use blockchain technology to create innovative services that solve challenging business problems in the Philippines and worldwide. The flagship location, a 900 m2  space in Manila, is planned to open by end of 2017 or early Q1 of 2018. The center is the first in a planned series of blockchain centers across Southeast Asia....

Hire me! Spanish translator and community manager!
I want to submit a question?
I bought several month ago 12000 nem and put on the web wallet.
Do i receive interest for the only fact to have the coin deposited on the wallet or do i have to do something to
earn it?
Thanks in advance for the answer

You won't receive any interest by just keeping the the coins in your wallet.
To receive any reward you should be harvesting (staking)
and to be able to start harvesting you 1st need to vest (lock) minimum 10000 XEM.
With 10000 XEM this vesting process will last about 1 month only then you will be able to harvest
and also then you would likely not get any rewards as your account would have "small importance value".

Lately, i don´t get much with harvesting, but compared with future price increase, i don´t give a thing . . .

Yeah, harvesting is very poor. I remember when i harvested blocks of 90 XEM now i'm lucky if i harvest a block of 15 xem.

NEM is undervalued, this should be accepted at the moment. I think that it is necessary to continue systematic work on entering the stock exchanges, conducting qualitative ICO.

Thanks for the explanation ... A little bit strange behavior of CMC ... Why should it be less legitimate? For the customers it's better to have no fees.

No fees makes those figures meaningless. I could buy and sell one coin to myself one million times a minute at no cost.

I could create my own coin and instantly be the number one on CMC in terms of volume if I wanted to.

Ahh Ok ... you're right ... now it makes sense for me  Smiley ... Yes, with this in mind, the trading volume from an exchange without fees is less legitimate.

Thank you, now I got it  Grin Grin

For what reason is CMC listing NEM like this? Does it matter if the exchange doesn't take Trading Fees?

It does it for all coins with zero fee markets. It regards that volume as less legitimate than exchanges with fees so doesn't count it.

Still, 5 million less is nothing compared to the any of the top 10 in volume. Have a look.  13 million volume is still not much.

Most of those other coins are mined which accounts for a big amount of necessary volume to pay bills. The other non mineable coins like Ripple simply have a much higher profile.

...

Keep in mind that the volume for NEM on CMC is not correct. Wink

What you mean is not correct? I always tough it was accurate enough? Can you elaborate on that please? thanks.

Have a look: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nem/#markets

About $5 million from Zaif exchange is "** Volume Excluded - No Trading Fees".

For what reason is CMC listing NEM like this? Does it matter if the exchange doesn't take Trading Fees?
