It is not predictable anything can happen in Crypto's. There are many positive things when compared to Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, for everything there will be the certain time to increase its price. NEM is completely based on from Japan slowly it is going to concern the Japan people with massive advertisement and developments.

is there any issues with Wallet? I was harvesting NEM, havent logged in for 4 weeks, checked my nano wallet now. its shows 0 with no history.
Chack if the delegated harvesting is active. Sometimes the "node" that you have selected gets disconnected and you have to restart the delegated harvesting.

There is no mining and you don't need your own node to harvest. So you will not get any extra reward running your own node.

i think the only competition for NEM is ETH
BTC will keep his status as "gold" means not much usecase beside valuable
NEM and ETH will be the powerhorses of the blockchain future
and ETH have the problem of its code on chain concept which have many riscs involved
NEM follow the save path of predefined and easy to use functions that cover most usecases and have zero risc for chain security and performance
