DIMCOIN, the Future of Equity on Blockchain, Proudly Announces ICO

https://coinidol.com/dimcoin-announces-ico/

"The DIM-COIN has a quantity commitment of 9 billion coins with the initial price starting at $0.01."

Good to see another NEM based ICO but an initial valuation of 90 million seems way too high. I haven't gone through the entire white paper but hard to justify that price IMO.

You are right, it is way too expensive!
Ecobit is even more expensive, it makes no sense at all.
ICO is not for collecting money to start a project anymore,
it is just for take the money from people who have no idea.
Status is also a good example for that!

0.01USD is expensive? I wonder what's cheap for you.

I haven't gone through the whitepaper too but this is a good start for NEM. NEM platform is already mature enough for some tokens to be created on its chain. We're all waiting for all these to happen.

Man, you have to keep the market cap in mind!
DIM has 9 billion Coins, with this price the market cap would be round about 90 million $!
Do you think DIM is 90 million worth right now!?
Then go and buy some...
NEM hast the same value of Coins, what was the price of XEM at the beginning?
Think about that...

I have a nice but sad NEM story to tell you that shows how easily it is to goes from rags to riches in the booming crypto environment, even though I am not one such beneficiary.

I almost was.

Gather round and hear my tales of sorrows and loss.

So I was an initial heavy speculator in NEM, used about $50 to trade my way up to about 50% of 1 pre-release stake, and had accumulated over 500,000 coins at one point.

Then, in early/mid 2016, the price of NEM shot up tenfold. Feeling like a genius, I sold out at a 10x profit, using that sweet $600 or so to help finance my expidition to Manila.

You want to know what the current pile was worth last time I checked?

Around $120,000.

So do I shoot myself in the head now, or later?

I'm sorry for any shit I may have talked in the past, and I truly wish all you NEM believers the best.

I recently used NEM to buy some Internet of Coins presale tokens, days before I heard about Bancor...

In any case cheers gents, especially those whose faith remained strong the whole way.

Nutildah out.

cheer up man. this is just the beginning for crypto in general, me thinks.

Man... Those whale games. I would love to know what's on their minds. The movement in crypto world has always amazed me. Now I'm trying to learn more and engage more actively in all this. The deeper I look into this universe, the more I understand that this is just a beginning for the entire industry and the whole world.

IMO many whales that are accumulating and early adopters that are cashing out have decided on a ~$0.20-0.25 price to buy/sell. Since the last rally, any time the price moves too much above or below this price, it quickly corrects back. That is the price point I decided to cash out 20% of my holdings back when it was below a penny. As soon as the early adopters are finished cashing out I'm guessing there will be another rally because there are no newly minted tokens entering the market from miners with electricity/hardware bills.

You may be on to something, it does look like the price is being manipulated pretty heavily at this point. Hopefully it's because someone or someone(s) are stocking up for a big run up/pump.
When nem was around .03 iirc, it would have some significant upward pressure every 4 or 8 days. look at the graph on cmc when it started rising and it was almost like clockwork. 4 or 8 days and we would reach new highs. That has stopped completely for this last month, and everytime it goes above .20 or below it seems to find its way back to around .195 or .20. As soon as it starts to make a upward climb it gets knocked right back down pretty quickly.
I wonder where this will all lead.

Update regarding the transaction fees:

"new transaction fees for XEM will range from 0.05 XEM to 1.25 XEM depending on how much you send.  Then extra fees for messaging too.  So if you send 1000 XEM, the fee will be 0.05 XEM.  If you send 10,000,000, it will be 1.25 XEM.  If you send 10,000,000 XEM with a message, will be more than 1.25 XEM.
...more information later this week"

And it is easy to determine when the whales will be done caching out. It is a simple math. SUM the daily trading volume of NEM on just Poloniex in the past 30 days and you will find that the amount of XEM coins traded at the range of ~$0.2 to $0.25 is almost the same volume traded in the previous rally.

A NEM rally usually starts soon after the amount of coins bought in the previous rally are totally sold. Which is usually equivalent to 50k -> 80k BTC. We are few days away from the next NEM rally.

Right on cue it just popped back above 0.20USD again.

Hey what would happen to my Nem after sending it to Bittrex without unencrypted message?  I did send it two hours ago already but hasn't seen it on my account. Does it mean its lost already?  Seem like a waste for me, its more than 4k of NEM.

Today i send some xem from bittrex to nano w/out message/ Transaction finished with success on 3-5 minutes.

Mine is the other way around. I guess that's a different story. If they can actually do it quicker than 2 weeks the better. I really miss reading the message after creating a XEM wallet on bittrex. Below the wallet says:

Quote
When depositing, please send your message unencrypted.

If the message is not included in your transfer, we cannot credit your account. Please do not directly deposit from an exchange or pool unless they allow you to specify a message.

Depositing tokens to this address other than XEM will result in your funds being lost.

Seem not really emphasized too well. Lesson Learned.

You need to contact their support with your address/amount. They will
sort it out.

What have I done. Bittrex support said.

Quote
This process can take up to 2 weeks and also requires that you have already generated a message/tag/paymentid/memo.

This is the first time I send my XEM to bittrex and its a disaster. I was looking at the chart above and saw an opportunity so maybe I could try accumulating too and this is what I got.  Embarrassed

Better to trace them in Explorer may be some time it may be delayed due to block maturity and at the same time contact the Bittrex support because 4000 NEM Coin is not a small amount. Maybe they will resolve your issue.
