Yeah there is nothing to worry about - NEM is not a one guys game, eventually we will rise to a new level, but currently its one deep pocketed guy manipulating the price, he is very sharp everytime when the coin hits 2600-2800 level, I think it was the same guy to dump 280btc some days back to cause some panic. But in time he will get rid off NEM and we have new holders and our growth will continue. That's the only thing stopping us now. So I wouldn't worry too much.  Think long term is all that matters, really all I'm saying that it is funny when you can pick this kind of patterns in short term when you follow. This guy likes to dump 78 btc - 23 btc - 8btc and repeated the pattern at similiar levels already 3 times. And he still has 4th and 5th barrel after that to try to push down the price momentarily, he knows hes game really well how to try to effect psycholical panic on the market, really all I am saying if that guy is reading the thread.

I got you fella.  Grin

I also have knowledge that there is 300-500btc stack wanting to get out of NEM because he is well set for life already, so we might see that coming sooner or later so nothing to panic about, let him get his stack and NEM will move on. It's completely another guy than the pump&dumper. But I still don't know how he will do it, if he will smartly sell pieces on sell wall or dump the buy wall if it gets stacked, so there is something to follow.

Sounds like you're talking about yourself?  Roll Eyes

But, as you said, NEM ist not a one guys game...

i can not understand how is these f.......

which when XEM start to moon put big fake sell wall

i want to f.... these guy

calm down a bit Wink

If you don't need the money now, let XEM grow slowly. I don't wanna see it going back down like after the last big rise last year.

Looks like a really good project. I remember this started out as a competitor to NXT which had many problems such as bad coding and community and distribution, but NEM seems to solve all those problems.

Could definitely see this going to 7k sat or more this year easy.

Funny note about XEM price, it's wanting to push forward but there is one guy holding it back, he constantly has sell wall at 2600 satoshi and once it's bitten he follows the progress with 3-stage dump to cause panic and buy back lower, if it continues to raise 2700-2800 level he will dump 75btc and then follow it with 2-3 gradual sell on buy walls to cause panic. hes total stack for all of this is ~150btc so he is trying to control the market. I assume he has maybe ~300btc worth of XEM total. At 2200-2400 level he tends to buy back and repeat. It's funny to see if market read this and reacts to push through his dumps to 3000+ levels so he might get a FOMO and end up buying higher, but for now hes strategy is working perfectly. I'm just saying, if you have stack don't be afraid, the walls are being manipulated with dumps past week very hard to not go above. The direction is forward. Also pay attention to XEM graph that it is very very stable past month with not a seemingly increase in matter of %, it's been very stable, in cryptos before a bigger dump we have a bigger raise, so XEM for now is very very stable to get in and push forward.

After kraken listed XMR, in which I can't see that much potential as in XEM, what did you guys think about XEM on Kraken?

All they're interested in is volume. XEM's volume is high at the moment but it does tend to tail off very dramatically. It would have to go up and stay to be of interest to Kraken.

hey guys i have some troubles getting delegated harvesting to work.

I started trying 2 days ago with wallet Nano 1.3.0.
I have vested balance > 10k xem, and i have made a 'importance transfer transaction' of 6 xem.
My remote status is ACTIVE, so far so good.

then i get stuck on the last step, selecting a node. At first it kept on saying 'no free slots on selected node, please choose another'. I kept on randomly trying nodes, and finally after 100 or so tries i found one. so it seemed to work. BUT...

Shortly after that i had to reboot my PC.  when i came back online , the wallet seemed to have lost this node. The button says 'start harvesting' again, so i assume it stopped on the previously selected remote node. Since then i made again 100 or so tries to find a free node, but there does not seem to be any. (i also updated to 1.3.4)

My questions:
- Is there any way apart from randomly clicking to find a free node?
- Is the password required to find a node, or is this only needed after a free node is found? (now it seems unsafe to send my password to 'invalid' nodes?)
- how is it possible to check if delegated harvesting is really working?
- if my vested balance and/or importance changed, do i have to re-make an importance transaction?

any help to this simple mortal would be appreciated Smiley

EDIT: wohoo, i finally got it to work  Grin Problem was my javascript blocker still blocked some parts of the page. The same questions as above are still valid though, any answer would be appreciated

I was browsing the NEM rich list and was surprised to see so many stakeholder accounts that are now empty or displaying balances of <100 XEM. One account once had 15 stakes bought from the NXT AE but now only has 25 XEM. Had they not sold, that would be worth over $1 million at current prices. I know it's good for distribution but still, ouch. Sad

On the other hand, there are also accounts which started off with a small amount of XEM and accumulated more over time. Several supernodes started off with only a small fraction of a single stake. Smiley
they sold their xems and now they are  Cry Cry Cry Cry
 Cheesy
good for the distribution as you said

Some of the Accounts were changed. I have a Stake too, but I moved it to another Account.

Hi all!

My XEM investment was the best I did since I started with cryptos, I have some since the 35sat times.
After kraken listed XMR, in which I can't see that much potential as in XEM, what did you guys think about XEM on Kraken?

Good or Bad for XEM? - in some cases a (bigger) Fiat trading pair could have a negative impact, I think.

I would love to see it on kraken, but as said I don't know if its good for us, and how to get it there.

Than more exchangers that the price will be steadier .
NEM is BIGGER and to it's necessary more than 100+ exchangers .

Which wallet do you recommend for users who wants to keep their XEM for long term? I've bought few of these last week but are only on the exchange.
I bought them from polo and its just there. I have no plans to accumulate as I'm busy with my job as well.

NanoWallet - you can find it here:

" https://www.dropbox.com/s/easnn1uzct8dras/NanoWallet-1.3.4 -- Apostille TX f9a506e3abfa225d60b4447017279a6af7561428e0f53839fb3bea92fe8c129d -- Date 2017-04-20.zip?dl=0 "

(when you use Mac - don´t use safari)

ONLY DOWNLOAD NANO WALLET FROM THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE--> www.NEM.io

That AntiNoise member provided a suspicious download link of the nanowallet. I'm almost sure there is something to that wallet.  I wouldn't be surprise if someone downloaded from it which will result to a mysterious loss of NEM balance.

You should never use direct links from BTT Wink. You should rather visit the official NEM Page:
https://nem.io/install.html

In this case it's the same download link in the end.. But always be careful!
