mining is so 2012-2013
I heard a rumor XEM is a long hold and possible 10x in months. Mind telling the  tl;dr why? Thanks.

Never mind. Sorry. https://blog.nem.io/nem-mijin-blockchain-technology-briefing-january-2017/

10X isnt gonna happen just because someone on nem blog told u that its likely to happen. That doesnt seem like a nice PR. It may cost them reputation and shorten NEMs lifespan. I will dump all my holdings all at once when I get back into my account.

Where does it say on the NEM blog this is going to happen?

Either way, it is just someone's opinion.

On top of that 10x has already happened ... twice!

24 --> 240 --> 2400+

Blockchains are a growing area.  There is more than enough room for another 10x or even 100x "IF" things were to go well, and we are working hard behind the scenes to see that happen.

NEM coffee premiered yesterday and already sold out of coffee!  Grin   From what I read, this guy in Japan is roasting the beans himself.

Based on the tweets, looks like it only took 12 hours before they ran out of product.  That's pretty good because nobody talked about NEM coffee on this website or telegram - so there must be a real large autonomous community in Japan.

There seems to be considerable adoption in Japan.  I have seen images of people buying pizza, ramen and liquor with XEM and now coffee.  Grin

http://news.8btc.com/blockchain-software-security-report-by-china-cert-ripple-the-worst

China CERT did an audit of most of the popular blockchains.  NEM came out in the report as the most secured large blockchain project.  Ripple was considered the least secured and  EthereumJ was noted too for vulnerabilities.

It already looks to be very popular.  This one already has more retweets and likes than Apostille.  Shocked

The backend of Landstead and the Backend of Apostille are very similar actually.  I would call them cousins and they both stem from a different and even more broad idea I have.  The reason why I think Landstead is doing so well is that while more than 100 projects on Ethereum have "talked" about building identity systems on Ethereum, very few actually delivered.  And Landstead not only did that but also government assets, and even registered property and property transfers between citizens.  To my knowledge this is the most advanced demo I have seen like that.

The problem with Apostille is sooooo many people have done PoE so Apostille gets over looked as just another PoE; it in fact is the most advanced PoE system I have ever seen by far, but people don't give it enough time to see it and it gets lost in the sea of all the other PoE systems.  Whereas Landstead is definitely one of the firsts of its kind.

One funny thing is our competition was building projects on Ethereum for literally months.  But we did Landstead in under a week!

Wasn't it built in 4 days? Also Apostille code was written by one person instead of an army of people like some of the other initiatives out there. And it came with the nanowallet too.

Before there was started writing the code, we did a lot of work to prepare: discuss the possibilities and documenting and testing the ideas. Work which is not yet finished BTW.

The idea behind it took a while to formalize, but the coding was definitely done in under a week.  I thought it was 5 days but I was working so hard it blurs together.  hahaha

When this feature be done, xem will be pumped to the heaven, happy life. I try to get xem as much as possible before the big pump
