Cointelegraph statements have been rebutted more times than when they were proved to be right. Which I dont recall. Looking at their analysis Im starting to have a stroke. NEM’s Catapult Upgrade

The new Catapult upgrade introduced several new features. Two of the most important ones are called Aggregated Transactions and Multi-Level Signature Accounts. This is certainly something revolutionary for the whole crypto ecosystem. 

With Aggregated Transactions, it is possible to merge several transfers into just one. This is very positive for NEM users because they will be able to perform trustless swaps, automatic cross-chain transactions, and many other things. 

In order for this to happen, the new blockchain network generates a one-time disposable smart contract. Once all the parties approve the transaction, they are executed at once. There are no other blockchain networks in the market with the feature implemented by Catapult. 

With Multi-Level Multisignature Accounts, it is possible to add “AND/OR” logic to multi-signature transactions. This allows for different business applications that would make processes more streamlined and also more efficient. By using a four-layered architecture, Catapult keeps each layer free from getting slowed down by others. With these improvements, API calls and data queries can also respond quickly, even when the network registers high traffic. 

This new upgrade includes other improvements related to speed, reliability, and scalability. There are more than 27 different use cases for Catapult and the new blockchain network. Some of these use cases include exchanges, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and utility tokens, social media, logistics tracking, medical records, sharing economy, international remittance, voting, time logs, and many others.

It seems NEM developers have been working for a long period of time in order to be able to develop Catapult. With the aforementioned features being released the network becomes a much more relevant player in the industry.

Agreed with you everyone have his own way of thinking with their goals. At the moment we have only one option just hodl and stay calm to survive in current situation. I believe very soon it will get more strong position on the board.

Actually I was incredibly impressed at how well the price held. I would never have expected such a thinly traded coin to weather 10% of the available supply being dumped but it did.

This is the culmination of the total indifference people feel towards NEM. It's never gained a proper toe hold with developers or traders. A bear market just rams that home ever firmer.

NEM used to be in top-10 for many years. It is sad that it paid the price for the Coincheck exchange weak security. It started droping from this moment and never recovered.

Game over for NEM. It was fun in 2017 but now it is the end.

Yeah, it needs, if it isn't too late at all. Now we've been kicked out into #24 position on CMC (which is the "lowest record" for the long time, I guess). As I mentioned here some time ago, I'm afraid, that staying out of TOP20 for the longer period is something like "kiss of death". The way back is (will be) very complicated or almost impossible, regardless how great is the tech of the coin (here I'm still believe it's great by NEM, despite all the delayed actions with Catapult and so) and how great is the marketing (here I'm really not sure what should I think) ...

Of course now is the situation hard for all the altcoins (and nobody knows, when and if ever the alt-season will begin), but ...

I'm going to be narked if it emerges when general interest in alts is at a long term low but it looks like that might be the case. That's pretty much its one chance for a compelling hook and no one's going to be remotely arsed about it.

I guess we'll have to wait and see but I don't think alts are going to be doing much for quite some time to come.

if you where all-in with XEM , that maybe is your own fault , i also take part in XEM (lucky me ) but i also take part in lot of other opportunity's , maybe you should spread your holding's?

I agree ! while we held and believed in XEM we missed many opportunities !! Absolute disappointment!

How is the ninja releases are working out?
Catapult catapult for over 2 years now am I right.
Least you can do is give the Silver coins funds (in XEM) to the original stakeholders like it was promised and written on rich list.
You guys managed to miss use the funds (not the new team). Like I said many times. Even a good product can fail
with out making good noise. as much as I dont like tron a least their out there getting exposure.
But ninja tactic is good right? Will this project die like a ninja too, like no one will know too?

Took so long for us to come out with something, betting everything on CATAPULT that until now is not even ready.
While a lot of good project has come out. What a waste of opportunity. We can't even stay in TOP 20 lol
