wish i would have participated when the stakes were nearly for free, but i bought some now.

Yes me too. But to be honest I thought NEM looked like a scam because they only used NXT to organize an ICO. I am not saying anything bad about NXT, in fact I am a supporter of that too. There was too many assets that did not deliver their promise in the NXT asset exchange so I thought NEM would be one of them.

That is another good opportunity lost.

I bought my stake on the NXT AE, cost me about 16K NXT.

I bought my stake at 10 NXT, this was in January 2014.  My wife was a latecomer, and I think she had to pay around 0.1 BTC for her stake, which at the time was around $44.

But just remainder is that stakes was allmost for free just becouse NEM wanted wide fair distrybution not just few people with deep pocket who get 80% of all.
Purpose of NEM was wide share distrybution on many people while ICO purpose is get more $$$ i hope u get point.

We are on the same boat, but I made quite a good profit buying, holding and selling NEM.

Most of us now wish to buy NEM in that time, when it was 20-30 satoshi.

yep according to the charts it is now raising how far and how long. who knows
I like this setup the best the price swings up and down easy to make money this way. if it only goes up and down mostly or little volume it is hard to trade

Java NEM was warming up, C++ is the real deal?  Shocked

I hope that with the Catapult will be lower requirements for the hardware.

Will XEM rewrite with C++ language?
Yes. Catapult will be on C++

I think NEM devs are best devs in the entire blockchain scene so I am sure eventually they'll make things as userfriendly as possible, both for individuals as well as for (fintech)companies, perhaps even for banks.

Catapult CPP development status, nothing short of being impressive:

A great pile of code indeed...
Work has been done but the quality based on those numbers could be better (blank, comment / code) ;-)

Static analysis tools may give some "guidelines" to the coding, unless the devs are so familiar with C++ and so Pro that codelines are self-commenting :-)
Or the code has been really stress-tested.

Ironically, Devs are all Cpp experts. Java was something new for them and they delivered. So, we expect catapult to be something so easy for them to do.
