I think it a very good move on the part of the NEM foundation - this will ensure the continues operation of the platform and protect it against further financial issues. Additionally, its a strategic move but must be always done with transparency to the community.

NEM has still hypernated, in my opinion.
After hit its all time high months ago, the NEM gradually decreased, but it fortunately nearly found its bottom recent months.

If crypto enthusiasts would only dissect the entire NEM platform and its development achievements, then I would assume they will be amazed by the rapid development that fuels its evolution and that we should not worry about price fluctuations because it will soon rise due to the merits of its features.. It happened a lot of time in crypto world. Saw it many time. Am since 2009 in crypto. Traded with BTC when it was 0.5$. Dont trust any promises like we will develop this and that and price will be milions and milions.

I guess well just have to wait a little bit for new developments but hopefully all the decisions made by the team and the community could lead to more growth and stability of the coin. Imho.

Well that's the thing everyone wants to wait for a bit of new developments right now. Thanks to BTC dropping real bad the past year some decisions are really meant to be made. Anyways people don't have to lose faith in NEM because it really is a great project considering some projects I know went on top of it Cheesy

Yeah I guess so much effort has been exerted by the developers and it enjoys a strong support from community that it would only mean that it has a bright path to success yet I do see a need to continue its goal for mass adoption as what every crypto project aims to do.

- Strong core team members;
- Strong community;
- Widely accepted use cases.

Strong team can build up good projects with good use cases, but without strong and solid community projects hardly to grow.
