It seems the dumpers are expecting BTC to rise above 450$ soon. They are not aware of the weird nature of NEM value. Unlike other cryptos, NEM usually rises with BTC with even a higher rate. I am not quite sure why such behavior usually happens with NEM but anyways its a fact.

I'm actually happy the price is staying at this level.
So long as it stays this way, I'll continue to accumulate more XEM as i genuinely believe this is a good long term investment.

hi guys i tried delegated harvesting today and it says :

ERROR 699 : NIS HARVESTING LIMIT REACHED

how to fix this? i got almost 20k in vested balance so its not the problem. thanks all

you need to go into the nis config file and edit the part that limits the number of harvesters allowed.

you an do this by changing: nis.unlockedLimit = 1 to 2/3/4/5

another tip, you can restrict who can harvest on your node using: nis.allowedHarvesterAddresses =

config file is located in: package\nis\config.properties

you can also set nis to autoboot using your delegated harvesting key (if you have activated delegated harvesting) and use that for local harvesting. that way nis will automatically harvest as soon as you start it up, and you can keep your private key for the proper account completely off the computer.

eidt: if your using local nis, and are only harvesting with one account, you shouldnt be hitting the limit.

One more question/summary;

Let's say I run the standalone version of nem 24/7 and is up and running synchronized etc. I don't import any wallet in it.
I put the delegated harvesting key in the config using autoboot;

Should I click at 'Start local harvesting' within the client? Or is that not necessary?

Where can one find his delegated harvesting key ?

Right beside the Account Number is a little Settings Symbol. Click it and choose Account Details, there will be a PopUp with your public delegated harvesting Key and some other useful Information.

Right.  That is the exact place to find it.

If a person hasn't activated delegated harvesting, here is how to do so.  https://forum.nem.io/t/how-to-raise-the-amount-of-harvesters-fix-error-699/1923

And once they have that key, here is how to use it in NIS settings https://forum.nem.io/t/how-to-raise-the-amount-of-harvesters-fix-error-699/1923

Things looking good for XEM!

I honestly didnt think we would reach #8 marketcap in such a short space of time.

Once things take off in Japan which it appears so, things will really explode in the asian markets and eventually globally! Grin

Don't write off South East Asia just yet. They just moved the machinery in the last 1 month. It may just overtake.  Cheesy Cheesy

what is the machinery?
