Its not the fact that there was a dump, but the size of the dump and to such a low level that surprised me. It reminds me of the feb 2014 flash crash on btc-e of bitcoin from 800 to 100. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=458248.0;all

Yes, I think zaif is the next logical step.
The summer should get interesting though, as that is when most mijin companies will be done with their testing of the blockchain (from my understanding)

then when your out with your BTC....you go "will it dip? will it dip?" emotional stuff....if you can handle it...go

what if Zaif adds us ? .....what if a dollar : xem gateway opens up....or even just other national currencies
what if annoncements come out soon with ongoing projects which ARE happening......

I am happy to have bet on "nem" from the beginning. not only the current value but the revolution it can create .

And that's what it really takes to be a HODLer. Let's face it: none of us know what the future will bring. This formal point weighs in most strongly for assets whose value is essentially speculative. In the absence of facts - i.e., in the absence of a working time machine - we have to use belief.
And thankfully, "I Believe!!" meshes well with the cryptocurrency advantage: permissionless, peer-to-peer development.
unfortunately the vast majority of it had to be very VERY reluctantly sold.. :/ most certainly not a lack of faith, far from it, more a lack of finances due to college and other crap. there's just times when you just cant say no and stuff has to be paid for yano, nothin really could be done about it. no worries tho. workin on gettin a decent stake back. im still 1000% sure nem will be friggin huuuuuuge (#soon

The thing about an additional stake...first time i hear about that. Don't think that was an option.
Well, even if it had been discussed, an additional stake wouldn't make sense at current prices... 9 BTC silver coin!!!
Having the option to receive the respective value of the coin in XEM would be sweet though; not everyone is willing to provide a shipping address. If such scenario is to be considered, it makes sense to give folks the option to opt-out of receiving the coin before ordering the coins, of course.
Edit: Then again... it sounds like too much work for nothing... lol
The silver coin project is looking a lot more viable now. We have started some internal discussion, but a lot has changed. We need a new manager and business proposal. That will take quite a bit of work and we don't have one right now. So for the first time we are looking at that project again, but have taken 0 steps and it will take a long time to actually get them in the hands of all the people that will get them once it is started.
If the project goes ahead, then there might be a chance to get a silver coin asset in place of a sliver coin for those that don't want to provide a shipping label. They could then sell that asset on the market and somebody else could redeem.
