Cheetah_cpuminer v1.1.1 is released at github.  This version is mainly a bug fix version on the issue that cheetah can crash occasionally on wrong timestamp.

https://github.com/ShorelineCrypto/cheetah_cpuminer/releases

README Document:
https://github.com/ShorelineCrypto/cheetah_cpuminer

What is Cheetah_Cpuminer?
NewEnglandcoin (NENG) blockchain has dynamic difficulty adjustment algorithm which may trigger ASIC miners to get stuck on NENG blockchain finding no blocks from several minutes to several hours.

Cheetah_cpuminer will automatically start mining at local PC when ASIC miners get stuck. Cheeta_cpuminer will stop mining when ASIC miners are smoothly generating blocks

v1.1.1 is tested under Ubuntu linux 16.04 and Windows 10

There are so many available altcoins, which have faster transaction pace than bitcoin's transaction speed, on the market.
Therefore, I think that the NENG team have to do something more, something innovative to make the coin being competitive, able to catch both eyeballs and capital flows from investors.
Good start, good luck, and good achievements later this year.

We have a error with this coin  and we will fix it asap so for now its removed

Is the problem fixed in the end or does it still exist and you cannot add back to your portal? In general, they have a very good idea so that everything can work out with a positive market.

It looks that finally findblocks.com restored NENG mining.  For a while findblocks was one of the earlier working pool for NENG

Cheetah_cpuminer v1.1.0 is released at github:
https://github.com/ShorelineCrypto/cheetah_cpuminer/releases

README Document:
https://github.com/ShorelineCrypto/cheetah_cpuminer

What is Cheetah_Cpuminer?
NewEnglandcoin (NENG) blockchain has dynamic difficulty adjustment algorithm which may trigger ASIC miners to get stuck on NENG blockchain finding no blocks from several minutes to several hours.

v1.1.0 is tested under Ubuntu linux 16.04 and Windows 10

Note under window machine:  even if the wallet is fully synced under window machine, you may have to  double click the bat file,  stay for couple of minutes and then close it, and restart it again to allow cheetah to work properly.  Somehow cheetah may not work with the first try.

CPU mining for today is over probably.  my 4 core CPU linux  could not find any block in 30 minutes with continuous mining.  I stopped it.

Alpha version of Cheetah in my old 2 core linux PC is restarted.  Cheetah now does nothing and won't start CPU mining until the block chain time is 2 minutes or more.

The rest of today probably is 100% ASIC world.

My small ASIC USB stick (5 m/h hashing rate) is getting 9 blocks in 10 minutes in the pool.  It yielded more than 7 million NENG today while the past 6 days in the week only got  2 blocks per day or 300,000 NENG only.  Truly a huge day for ASIC miners.

Thanks for the update here.
you are right but today i dont have access to my ASIC machine.
But with my 4 cores yesterday i only get 100 000 NENG.

When this cheetah cpu miner tool is releasing ?

By end of this week.  The block default difficulty is reset now to a very low number.  ASIC miners are getting huge amount of blocks.

Cheetah won't help CPU mining now until the default group difficulty is reset to much higher number next time.

That means no future for cpu mining ? Sad

Right now my 4 core CPU PC continuously mined a block in every 20 minutes.  No cheetah,  just continuously mining with "setgenerate true" in wallet

The CPU mining opportunity is there, but dynamic,  some day poor, some day high based on the difficulty and relationship with ASIC miners.  Today is big day for ASIC miners, huge
reward.  But yesterday majority of rewards went to CPU miners.

The group base difficulty for every 1440 blocks will reset higher or lower targeting 1 minute per block.  Check out discord, there were huge conversation on today's action on block chain movement, ASIC vs CPU.

Cheetah is needed to help CPU mining when the base difficulty gets very high

My wallet balance shows that i have some coins.
but when i see transactions it is showing different addresses.
and blocks are confirmed.
 like for every coin that i get from mining it shows different address. but i generate only one receiving address from my wallet.

I dont understand.
is the wallet balance is correct and i own all those coins ?

I assume you did the solo mining from PC wallet (linux or window).  Yes you own those coins if it is in your wallet.  Mined coins have different addresses.   They show up initially as unconfirmed or immature. I think roughly after ~ 120 confirmation,  the mined coins will be available to you to spend or trade at the exchange now.

Only pool mining (mainly ASIC miners) have fixed receiving address on NENG.

Thanks a lot.

how to do solo mining?

i made a conf file but dont know what to add to node ?
kindly check and tell me if i made it right

rpcuser=rpc_enguser
rpcpassword=*password
rpcallowip=*
rpcport=3440
listen=1
server=1
addnode= Huh??

For now, do not bother with solo mining with  the wallet in a server type mode.  When cheetah cpu miner tool is released, a sample  NENG config file will be included as  json-rpc  API is used by cheetah software.

For now cpu mining NENG,  just use the QT wallet (window or Linux).  Do not run wallet constantly because you won't find more blocks and it will also get stuck by the dynamic hashing algorithm. Follow my post here that type a few word to mine NENG when the block chain is stuck, and  type few words to stop CPU mining when the ASIC miners are pounding loud.

Revise my statement above.  Henry in DISCORD claimed that he cpu mined NENG by running his PC wallet continuously.  I never knew this and my limited test indicated that PC Wallet could get stuck too on NENG block chain if the wallet is mining NENG all the time.  I could be wrong and Henry is right.  Of course,  keeping running PC wallet mining NENG cost a lots of money.  When ASIC are churning normally on NENG,  CPU miners have no chance.

OK Got it.
I mined for 10 hours continuously and i mined 4000 balance and 6000 more to mature.
1st 2k in the first hour
2nd 2k in the next hour
3rd 2k after 3 hours of 2nd
4th 2k  after 2 hours of the 4th
and 5th next hour after 4th

do you guys think is it ok ?

You are doing very good on CPU mining NENG.

OK,
When this cheetah cpu miner tool is releasing ?
