I agree with you, NEO is supplying coins with high potential but if it is compared to Bitcoin then NEO will never be able to surpass Bitcoin even will have difficulties also to fight Ethereum.

NEO has a large population backing, the Chinese community which is an advantage. The value was less that a dollar in a year now, one of the largest value increase in crypto in the past year. the wallet and gas idea with multi blockchain idea will give an advantage to sustainability. A lot is being built around it lately
I think NEO has a lot of strengths, but to give it the label of Bitcoin killer shows everything that it really is and all it can ever be... an alt that sees itself as a competitor to Bitcoin, using Bitcoin as the standard and the benchmark. This article fails to see that technology is not and never will be the only thing that makes an alt "succeed" in price.
