All I know is that the Chinese government is not banning ICOs but they have regulations on ICOs. This is a good idea because it can minimize the number of ICOs that are scam now. Is not it?
NEO is not just a Chinese crypto currency, it is used globally in every country. The developers are largely based in China but that does not mean anything in crypto. The technology makes it superior to ethereum and that will make it rise in value, especially as more great ICO projects are released on it
Obviously, without China's support, NEO can only lower its price. It is not beneficial for China to have a strong and independent cryptocurrency, because a very large number of people will keep their money there and not in state banks.
I hope that china will be lifting it's ban this year in order to be a very big help for the crypto industry, we all know that chinese businessman are very big part of this sector. Micro or Macro type will be huge factor in order for bitcoin to regain it's previous status again.
in my opinion if China has released neo then neo development will not be good and maybe this coin will be destroyed and bankrupt it will not even be worth any more really sad and terrible. China, which has many investors and is very fond of cryptocurrency, so that if China has released neo then that nightmare can happen.
Yes, NEO can grow to 1000$ even without the support of Chinese investors. But I think that soon China will again legalize the crypto currency and the NEO rate will be much higher than we expect.
Now you made me think! I haven't seen ICO for new token on neo platform a long time now! last I remember was TKY and PKC, and silence from then. Maybe I am wrong, if that is the case please correct me. If China would lift ban, we would see rise in all crypto prices, cos that ban is what started bear market! If this trend continues there were be no NEO tokens at all!

Guys, where do you take such unreal growth prognosis of crypt? Look at the market today! Do you really think that in 4-5 months the population will suddenly grow 10 or more times? For what reason? So that you all who have purchased and still purchased for growth, then at the top of the mountain began to exchange the crypt for Fiat?
In the fourth quarter of 2018, NEO will not exactly grow to 1 000$. Now China and all other countries are trying to develop some laws on the crypto currency and until it happens NEO will be at the same price level.
The future of Neo cannot be overlooked because this coin has good features and I am sure the government of China will lift up the ban and the price of neo will rise. Though it might take long but it will rise as it has potentials.

I think NEO and CHINA is on the right path of crypto bussines. First China ico ban so they have time to prepare the regulations. They dont want to loose control over it.
Few days back they made crypto list of good coins so i think gradually they are moving to unbaning.
I expect to realese ban by end of year. Offcourse icos will be regulated heavily but there is nothing wrong with it, we all want quality coins and not scams.
Maybe we think china in pulling crypto back but the reallity is china is pushing it towards the bright future.
I also think that this year btc dip is because of everbody are waiting for global regulations. There is no secret that almost every country is setting some sort of regulations.
I expect that in Q4 thing will start to reaveil in investors favor, and big bullruns can in 2019 and 2020.
If everything goes by plan BTC will get to 50k easily in 2020, offcourse alts will go up as well.
As for NEO...i think in 2020 we shall see crossing 1k$

Why no more $1k? So long-term conditions can have a more expensive price. Because of this is unpredictable period. It looks like betting. In this cases I can say that NEO will $500-600 at the YoE. I think China will lift the ICO ban. Then this may take 3 years. The future NEO value can not be overlooked. It is possible to become Bitcoin now. Because I've been to China, where is it so advanced. It is beyond our imagination.

I think NEO will grow fast if the ban is lifted. NEO is a direct competitor of ETH and its strongly supported China. It seems to me that NEO will cost about 350-400 dollars by the end of 2018.
Its very hard to preditct what will happen when it comes to crypto and China but yeah i do belive that ico ban will be lifted by the end of the year.China knows that they are missing the chance to earn a lot of money from icos but they also want to regulate ico projects so they can prevent people getting scammed with phishy icos
Couple of days back their president announced that blockchain is one of the best technology for the future.They are just waiting for some regulations before unbanning
