Hey dude what do you think about the fact that the new XVG miner advertised by the XVG team and the new, soon to be released XVG wallets are both closed source?

The tokens are a standard erc20 token, not hard to mess up.

Maybe not a bad decision.

Modestly I think that the tokens destined to pornhub would have been better used dedicating them to the security and improvement of XVG

Whatever happens with verge, i will not lose everything, as i am not a completely fool and invest all my money in one coin. I am invested in verge only with a small amount. Didnt even buy it, but mined it. But i dont like those haters and FUDers, as they dont understand that they damage whole cryptocommunity.

Maybe you are right, but a lot of the other coins you mention, that would be able to act as currencies quite well, do not have use cases... Verge has... And do you really think, the coins you mention are not vulnerable... I dont think so... As already said, this is a young technoology. There will be hacks, expploits and whatever for years.
Anyway, Verge did definitely look not good regarding that exploits... I do not ignore that. But it is one thing that they made faults, and it is another thing if any useless people come here for personally insult the dev or any other people.

I suppose that Verge has been marketed well to impressionable kids such as yourself, but I think that's more down to luck.

Go to any one of the vendors on that list and have a look at the payment methods they accept. None of them exclusively accept Verge, most of them use CoinPayments which allows them to accept it and instantly exchange it for something that isn't a shitcoin  

Verge does nothing new. It initially claimed to be a privacy coin just because it had an Electrum wallet that connected through Tor by default, later on stealth addresses were pasted in but on their own they're not a perfect privacy solution. I think that you should give this article a read.

You need to look up the definition of use case. Many coins can act as currencies quite well. No reason Verge needs to exist to just act as a currency since the other coins don't have glaring vulnerabilities like Verge does.

Verge has no "established real use cases", unless you count making its braindead developer rich a use case. It's a copypaste coin that does nothing new.

You are absolutely right. The behaviour of the verge team was wrong and ignorant regarding that exploit. But is this enough to destroy the work of several years regarding a coin, that has a lot of real use cases. Look out there at this 1500 coins. 1350 of them you can use to buy them on an exchange and sell them later again. Thats it. I did not check it, so sorry if i am wrong, but i am quite sure BTX is one of these coins... So what do you call this coins. Dont understand me wrong. A lot of this coins are quite young and they will maybe develop to some real good coins. But Verge has established real use cases. Only because some guys had ridiculous expectations regarding the partnership (i remember amazon, ebay and paypal for example) and did not get millionaires over night, they now run around and use each possibility to drag Verge in the mud.

regarding pornhub, it was mentioned from the beginning, that they will add additional coins in the future. But at the moment a lot of people use every news about verge just to spread hate and FUD.

Same thing with the "halving". It is in the code from day 1, that the last "halving" will go from 1560 to 730, what obviously is no "halving", but it is the number of coins per block needed to reach the max supply, that is also in the code from day 1. Now these haters take this thing trying to make a fool of the verge dev, not even recognizing that they only make a fool of theirself.

Bitcoin Gold got hacked last week or so, Monacoin got hacked last week... Noone calls this coins shitcoin because of that. Damn, i am sure every day any coin gets hacked. This is a very new technology. It has to evolve. These fucking haters think they do a favor to crypto in general spreading their FUD. Well it only shows how closed-minded they are. Even if there are a lot of people that dont understand that, but bad news about any cryptocurrency are bad news for all cryptos. Right now we have to convince 97% of the mankind and nearly all governments of the world, that cryptocurrencies are the future. There a lot of people, mighty people, especially in the traditional finance sector, that use all bad news they can get about any crypto to say cryptocurrencies in general are bad. These haters and FUDers support these guys as good as they can... and, they dont even know that, because they are too stupid to understand...

I would normally agree, but in this case he stumbled upon the worst of the worst shitcoin out there. It's been "hacked/exploited" twice over the last month, with Devs copy pasting shitty solutions and deleting posts/banning people whenever there is a critical or concerned question from a user.

There is absolutely no fucking reason to invest in Verge. I even read today, that Pornhub (Verge's "big" partnership) is looking at some other coin to partner with instead.

Tonyvo, dont use this bullshit they post here as a decision for investing or not. I will defintely not telling you, if you should invest in Verge or not. You need to find out that by yourself. But do your own research. Go to their discord or telegram, talk with that guys. Dont use the comments of some guys, that never made anything in their live (someone maybe call them losers) to make a decision.

How did you proof anything? This dev and his team has created a coin with a marketcap of about 600,000,000.00$. I am quite sure he should take some help at some point. But you dont do that with only copy and paste. And as already mentioned, it is so ridiculous, that the XSH-guys complain about copying, after they copied the complete verge project... Did he take that part of code from XVG? Yes he did. Whats the problem? Why reinvent the wheel? It is all open source, anyone copies from anyone, and if some idiots would not be so bullheaded, they would better work together, as fight against each other.

I really can imagine you guy. Never made something in your life, maybe living at mom's home with 40+, but the whole day spread FUD, hate and nonsense about other people, likely because you are jealous.

And please keep @ocminer out of this discussion. Although at some time his and verges dev discussion was a bit overheated, he did only post constructive and eligible criticism. You haven't done that even once.
