Today we have 3 videos - the Mac and the Windows versions of installing the wallet. The Mac version is split in two parts to show an extra step some OS X users will need to take because the app didn't get published through the Mac App Store.

Yes, that's actually the old symbol that BitSeeds was launched with but it was changed to XSEED. The dev forgot to change it in the wallet with 1.2, but we'll fix it in the next update.

We've updated our tag from BITS to XSEED, thanks for the info.

In other news, block 8800 and the return of mining is getting closer so we've contacted iSpace to see if they'd like to add us and we've already had http://www.wmikrut.com/ reach out to us and they'll be adding us to their NOMP pool soon.

Also, given the international voice and credibility of the Rainforest Foundation gives BitSeeds something unique; that combined with the merchant service support we'll have up and running with Coin.co before the end of the year and the charity tax incentive (on top of the usual savings over credit card fees) adds a great incentive for merchant adoption.

Happy to do so. I think there's more potential in XSEED than in 99% of other cryptos. And I'm not saying that because I'm involved in the project; I'm involved in the project because I saw that potential.

Definitely looking forward to things getting moving - we're just ironing out a few details and getting everything coordinated before we really get things rolling in the next few days. An exciting time!

I'm personally not a big fan of hugely inflationary coins, or ones with short mining periods, and Gabe and I both wanted to stick to the original design concept as much as possible.
