Do you have the Ant connected to the lan port of this modem directly by ethernet cable, or are you trying to configure the Ant wirelessly?

No, I am connected to the AntMiner via ethernet cable, it's in no way shape or form connected to any type of internet source yet.  My PC is connected to the miner and I use one a wireless connection to keep up to this thread and disable it to try things on the miner.  I've not yet had the miner online whatsoever yet, can't open the interface so I stopped there until I could figure things out.

Dogie - I used your guide to help but didn't do much for me.  I also already tried reset too but did nothing but helped me on other things so thanks Smiley

It almost feels as though there is no interface software on either units.  When I ping it, it does return a result.

It's something weird I can't figure out, right now I'm just hacking at it, can't really make it worse.

However, when I type it in my FireFox, I get a white page, as though there is no software at all installed, like a 404.

I don't get that black page like others have.

Wait, does the machine HAVE to be connected to an intermediary, like to a router or such to access the web for the interface?

I'm connected on my main line, which is a modem/hub, LTE Network... nothing in between.

I can easily connect other PC's to it too but it's not necessarily a router either.

PS: I have two connections, neither are wired.  Oh the boonies..... lol

Don't forget to set the broadcast address to 192.168.1.255 and set the DNS to 8.8.8.8

Ping from a computer on the same network the Ant address 192.168.1.25, then if you get replies, open a browser to that same address to configure.

Hello again!

So I finally found a good deal on a pair of SeaSonic G Series and they are pretty good, considering I only pretty much got to set them up for mining, I'm pretty happy with them.  Now my new dilema, I need some help to understand the configurations, namely because none of the guides out there have specific information.  As you may have not noticed, English is not my first language.

I followed a few guides and they all come down to this statement that no one has the same opinion about it seems like.  There's also stuff missing, guide's a bit old... mind you in bitcoin land, 1 days is like a year.

Start Button  >>  Control Panel  >>  Network and Internet (View network status and tasks)  >>  Change adapter setting (Left side of the screen)  >>  Local Area Connection (Double Click)  >> Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) then Click on “Properties”  >>  Select Use the following IP address:

Please look at near the cooling fan on the AntMiner.  You’ll find a white sticker with an IP address printed on it.  (Example: 192.168.2.125)

Set your computer's IP address to the following:

IP Address: 192.168.2.254
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1

For the DNS Setting:  Select “Obtain DNS server address automatically

I did all that down to the last part except I used 1's instead of 2's since my number was 192.168.1.99.  Well, guess what happens in Win7 When you click to assign the IP Manually?  It blacks out the option to "Obtain DNS server address automatically" and vice versa, so I am rather confused since the guide wants an auto DNS capture.  I also watched the video everyone recommends, not much effort was put into it (Language barrier, unsteady, bad audio, I will make a much better video once I get this all figured out but for now though, I need to make sense of all this and get those ants to work!

Anyways, I did everything else as the guide says but when I go to login to the miner, I get a white page, can't do nothing else.  I'm not sure if I have to be online or offline as it is not stated consistently in the guides when to be on or offline.  I've set the IPv4 to 192.168.1.25 then when I try to log in, that's where I get the white page, no interface loads up.  Please be as specific, I can deal with too "much information" rather having to rummage for more.

Thanks again, y'all helped do a great decision last time Smiley

I think I did everything and I'll be damned if I got a pair of faulty ants.  I know it's something simple out of sight...

Thanks again, y'allr the best Smiley
