Yes, kids nowadays are smart and brave enough to try and do anything they see. Also, the kids often copy the activities of their parents, whatever the parents do will be the growing activity or behavior of the kids. Kids are always curious about everything, if they see any interesting things, they will always remember them, try to learn them, and copy them the next time they have the chance to do so.
This happens because child curiosity is very high and they really know what they want so that what they have to do, they don't understand good and bad things so the role of parents is to be able to provide understanding to their children.
We all know that gambling is not very good for children or teenagers who have reached adulthood and what needs to be done is to direct children to be smarter in doing every activity they want.
As long as we always supervise and forbid them from accessing things about gambling, we can put more emphasis on them not starting to gamble and when we do this, children can slowly think that gambling is not good for them.
Some things don't have to be taught but one can learn by imitation if he wants. Gambling is one of them. A common trait in human nature is that they love to earn money without any effort. When a gambler conducts his gambling in front of a non-gambling person, he quickly becomes addicted to gambling. In gambling A person can learn gambling through friends or relatives. There is no doubt that if the parents of a family are gambling regularly then their children will be gamblers. Even if there is no person gambling within the family these days, it can be easily influenced by others.
Children can imitate what adults do easily because somehow, they can do it. If adults are gambling near them, the children can see it in a way that the adults don't, so the children can see and remember it so they can try it themselves. This is why we have to be careful in carrying out activities if there are children around us, and we shouldn't do anything that could make them curious, for example, gambling on a cellphone. We have to be able to divert their attention to other things so they won't ask about gambling or other things they don't need to know. Parents must keep their children away from gambling or other negative things so that they do not try to do it.
The living environment and also the people around them can have an influence on child development, and when parents forbid or do not allow children to be in that kind of environment then, I sure they will never see gambling activities anywhere.
I know that not all parents can always supervise activities or direct a good environment for them, but at least when there are restrictions they can avoid them.
Moreover, child still has fear of his parents anger and if this prohibition is really stated firmly then it can be very effective in helping the child development to avoid bad things.
