I think it depends on where you live because each country has different culture.

There's a country where gambling is illegal, if someone want to gamble, they will try in a safe place because it's sensitive. This will make people encouraged to not gamble in front of their kids.

There's a country where gambling is legal, moreover if they're liberals, so any people including kids can choose what they want to do and what they want to be.

Gambling in front of kids? Totally get the concern! While it ain't inherently bad, seeing adults having fun at the slots or whatever might make little ones wanna copycat before they're ready for the grown-up world of chance. Like, imagine a kid trying to sneak their piggy bank into a casino – not cool!

That's why keeping your poker face on around the kiddos is a good move. But let's be real, those online gambling streamers are everywhere on social media, and kids are there too, scrolling like ninjas. It's like trying to keep out sugar ants – nearly impossible!

Instead of freaking out about what we can't control, let's focus on what we can. Talk to your kids about gambling, don't sugarcoat it. Explain the risks, the ups and downs, and how it's not a magic money machine. Think of it like teaching them about crossing the street – gotta be aware and responsible, ya know?

Gambling, like any hobby, affects children differently. We fear the slippery slope of addiction, which is hard to get out of. Indeed, family and community must combine to guide and support.

Enjoyable, casual gambling is my preference. Its not all bad. It may educate risk, decision-making, and money management with adequate direction and restrictions. Its about creating a healthy, controlled environment where gambling is fun and not a vice.

Balance and moderation are my values. Children mimic behavior, therefore we must model gambling's enjoyable, positive features. Allow family poker sessions to bond rather than lead to addiction. Create memories of laughter and learning, not simply cautionary stories. Thus, we raise well-rounded adults who can have fun without going overboard.
We may have seen game addiction experienced by children, which is very difficult to get rid of because their emotions are not yet stable, and they cannot use their devices properly. That's also what will happen if they are addicted to gambling, which might have a worse impact than playing games.

That is why we have to be able to supervise our children well, and we also don't need to gamble in front of the children. That will prevent the children's curiosity about what we are doing. They also won't ask questions about what we do so that it can keep gambling away from the children. We also have to be able to educate children well so that they know that gambling should be done in a fun way and should not go beyond limits.

Yes, children will try to imitate what they see from their parents or adults. If their parents can teach them good things and not do things or activities that can harm their lives, the children will not try to do them. This requires supervision from their parents and also education provided by their parents. And when they are still young, we can teach them things useful for them when they grow up.

It is because of the negative consequences of gambling by kids that adults are sternly advised not to expose any gambling activity to kids as they're not mentally matured enough to handle the the effects of gambling. I've been able to see kids who unfortunately got exposed to gambling at their very tender age becoming gambling addicts which makes them to be dangerous to themselves and their future as well as anyone around them. For a kid to engage in gambling, he's definitely gonna get addicted when he/she does, the next thing is to steal from people around them just to get funds that'll be used in gambling.
Gambling activities must be kept out of reach of children, if their parents are involved in gambling they must gamble outside the home and never make their activities known to their children, they must also monitor children's activities on their cellphone history and make sure they never access gambling links and advertising promotions gambling. I think the right solution should be to limit cell phone use because the influence of online gambling starts from cell phone use, so the involvement of parental supervision becomes an important role to limit activities that are not appropriate for the child's age, they can overcome gambling problems in children if parents carry out regular monitoring of activities inside and outside.

That's right, gambling should be kept out of the reach of children, and the reason according to me is so as not to damage their future, because young children tend to be easily attracted as well as easy to remember so it is likely that they will also follow what adults or their parents do, moreover gambling is like a game or game, of course young children will be easily attracted to this, and if they see what parents or adults do then they are likely to do it.

Also with this time, in my opinion, currently there are many children who are still small but already smart to use cellphones, this actually in my opinion has positive and negative sides, but it is likely that they will play cellphones more often than socializing in the outside world. Hopefully parents can also limit their children's cell phone usage activities, because if it's too frequent, I think it's not good.

We may not know what negative impacts gambling has on children because the impact will vary from one child to another. We may only know that in the future, these children will often gamble and eventually become addicted to gambling, and it will be difficult to cure if they have been addicted to gambling for too long. This required help from all his family members and also the people around him because he was exposed to gambling at an early age, and it had already entered his mind. These children may carry out illegal activities to get money for gambling, so they will try in every way to have money. Children's memories of what they saw at an early age will continue to be carried over into adulthood, so if they see their parents gambling more often, they may follow suit with their friends.

The influences of seeing your parents or your guardian makes you think that it is okay to do the same, it's a risk from a developing mindset of a child, like what you mentioned, if a parent or a guardian is involve into gambling, better to play outside or inside the room where kids can't see them.

And same deal with monitoring your kids activities, not just for gambling alone but also from those kind of activities that can pollute their young minds, you need to make sure that you are fully aware so you can guide those kids in the right way or you can explain further to avoid having a wrong interpretations of things that may harm them in the future.

Quite hard to make a correct decision to gamble or not to gamble in front of the kids, as it is really hard to predict in who the kid will grow up. Our life changes to fast. Each 15-20 years generation have new things of interest, hobbies, trends and etc. Of course it is not advices to gamble in front of kids on purpose, to force them watch, maybe learn. But doing something special to hide the fact of gamble isnt necessary either. If we bother much hiding act of gambling, it will trigger rise of the interest from the kid. If we dont do it frequently, the kid will take is as «another parents daily routine» and wont pay much attention to it.
To an extent mate, I disagree with your opinion about triggering the interest of kids in gambling if we continue to hide our gambling  activities from them and that's because there's no way kids will be triggered to be interested in an activity they know nothing of. The only thing that can trigger kids to be interested in gambling is when we show them little about gambling but refuse to explain to them how it works fully and that's when they'll start building their interest just to know exactly how it works. Gambling in front of kids can not be justified in anyway and that's because of the fact that it have more grave consequences than the advantages.

In other to maintain the sanity of kids, it's very important that as adults we don't engage in any gambling activity in front of the kids in other not to ruin their future.
Right said, if I don't show kids gambling activities how will they get interested. But as parents thinking of their good life should never gamble in front of children as it will ruin the future of the children along with psychological damage. If parents are addicted to gambling then they do not care about their children so it is better to stop gambling. They deserve the most importance at this age what they learn or what they are taught should be built on the basis of what should be developed as ideal people.
As now everyone has special attraction towards online games. So even a small child can be attracted to this game. Moreover, children are naturally very interested in playing games. If they understand the value of money and see someone in their family talking about it, they imitate it and keep it in themselves and next. They can be attracted to that from various platforms online. If there is a gambler in a family, that gambler should make sure that the kids don't understand anything by their discussion. As a leader of the family or member, awareness should be gained in this regard.
Its an unavoidable thing on which our kids would really be that exposed into these things, this is why parenting is really that an important thing for you to do so specially on how you would really be making them realize on what are the pros and cons of things around. Curiosity would really be at peak as kids growing up on which on the time that they would be able to encounter something new
then it would really be a normal approach for them to make those test outs and as a parent then monitoring nowadays wont really be that simple yet holes and ways or paths couldnt really be checked
from time to time on which there would really be instances that you would really be able to miss up those things on which they arent supposed to be done by them.
How much more if you parents are involved with gambling? For sure you would already making that huge influence on what type your children would be as they grow up.

Gambling can lead a child into different negative attitudes like telling lies to parents or guardians to extort money from them, selling some valuables to get money, and sometimes making parents/guardians give them allowances and tuition fees again after they have run into problems. Getting a loan as a child is very difficult, especially since some countries prohibit a child from borrowing.
Anything that has an impact because of gambling will usually always be negative and never good, even though we know that not all of them are like that but on average almost most of those who have an impact because of the influence of gambling, for example minors or our children from what they see from their parents' gambling. Of course it will cause problems like the ones you mentioned, but there is another thing that is most dangerous, namely committing criminal acts which can result in ruining one's own future.

It is important for parents to keep their distance when gambling with their children, especially when playing online gambling, which can be played and accessed at home near their children. At least never gamble in front of them because it will have a big effect on them, although not directly but quickly as it goes along. At that time it will have an impact on the child, as an online gambler I usually always gamble at night when my child is sleeping because I don't want my child to ask me about gambling, because it would be very difficult to explain it in detail to him. lol

Yes, a children will find it easier to remember what they are seeing if they are with their parents. If parents mostly have an activity to open their cellphones to gamble, letting their children sit with them, will affected one day the children will look for what their parents see. Therefore, of course it would be better for parents to choose to sit with their children without gambling or even for gadget. focus on providing education to their children if they are already going gambling can have an impact on the people around them and themselves if they don't have good financial management.

This may have happened to some children who were already exposed to gambling. And because they can't make money yet, they will ask their parents for money, and perhaps they will often lie to their parents when asking for that money. If children gamble too often and experience losses, gradually, the child will become addicted to gambling, and when he is addicted to gambling, he may do other bad activities such as stealing or even asking for money from his peers. I often see underage children doing this with their friends, and even though they have been handed over to their parents, they still return to their previous habits, where they will hold other friends at gunpoint. Those who are addicted to gambling will only think about how they can gamble and have money to gamble.

Do you even have kids ? Cheesy Just convince them that what you say is 100% true and correct. That they dont have to listed to others. Respect them and they will respect you. If you say that it is to early for them to gamble on their own, but when they grow up, they can do it (and that is true, when they become adults, you can no longer control their lives), and they wont be interested in gambling until they get 18+ and understand what they really want from life.

I will give you and example. We all know how driving a car is dangerous, it require lots of learning, passing exams and etc. And we all drive cars in from of them. We show kids how cool we could accelerate, stop, do corners, how fun and entertaining it is. We smile while riding, show positive emotions. People even allow them to drive themselves while sitting on parents lap. That all raise their desire to drive themselves. Do they do it on their own while being, lets 10yo? Of course no, because parents told them it is to early to do that. So why lots of you dont think it will work with gambling also? If we say that they are free to gamble when they grow up and be appropriate age.

Especially if the individual from whom they are learning all of their negative habits is an addict, there is a good probability that an addict will emerge from that household. Children learn quite quickly. We must all use extreme caution when performing tasks in front of our children. Because when people try it and view the amount as a potential win, it encourages them and makes them desire to obtain money. And the moment they start selling stuffs that is the beginning of a very big problem, because it might even lead to stealing. And they won't even get loan as a child. But they can steal and look for other sources of getting money. The best thing avoid letting your kids know gambling.

Eventually the kid will notice that one of the parent gamble. If the parent act as usually, kids wont get interested much. But if parent starts to hide cards and chips (if he play IRL), or close browser, the kid might get suspicions and would start to ask question. Kids always want to get and know what is hidden and forbidden.

You are correct with saying that kids will get interested in gambling when we give them only part of information about what it is. But I dont get how kid will get engaged into gambling, if they never do it? And watching never means intend doing. If they watch, that does not mean they are rushing to gamble after stopped watching.
Totally depends on how well you would really be able to hide up those things on which we know that there are really kids which are really that  good when it comes to observation on which they do really make out those kind of possible notices whenever they do see some slight hint that you are really that involving on something not unless if your kids doesnt really mind much about those things but it is really just that impossible that they would really be not really be able to notice on things which are really that a bit obvious. Its never been that recommended or something that you would really be ideal on doing gambling in front of your kids.
We do know that everything which we parents been doing are would really be always right in front of their eyes, high chances that they would really be doing those stuffs  later on since they've seen
that their parents are doing on the same thing on which means that they would definitely be doing the same.
