No Alt can overtake BTC just yet, ETH is the second most powerful Crypto yet its not even close to gaining the market cap BTC has. A lower ranking alt therefore has little chances of overtaking BTC, they should first focus on getting to the top ten.
To beat bitcoin I am sure it is very difficult and impossible, because currently the bitcoin is already above and the price is very fantastic. Then for the new altcoin it is not easy to beat bitcoin. And bitcoin will remain the king of all coins.
Bitcoin will always be the leader. Too many people support him and believe in his success. In addition, new updates are constantly coming out for him, which allows only to improve the technology
In my opinion, this is just a trick because I know bitcoin will be on top and also its value will also be stable and I believe that bitcoin will not be invincible because bitcoin is the mother of all coins.
Personally I would have love it if any altcoin can beat bitcoin. Unfortunately I don't think any altcoin can beat bitcoin though they are some good altcoin whose features are better than bitcoin that people hasn't noticed it.

Unfortunately, there is little confidence in this market and many people have lost money! A coin needs to be exceptional so Bitcoinfuji will work towards this objective.
Of course we want our holdings to be like or beat bitcoin but the truth will slap us that this will never happen. We always read those thread that blah blah blah will surpass bitcoin and so on but it didn't happen or maybe even for more years because bitcoin is bitcoin and nothing can surpass and defeat bitcoin. Yes there's the high fee and slow confirmation but what about the other alts? Don't they have all of these? All have their own flaws so better just stop comparing.
I guess one of those altcoin that make its name popular is the playbets for those who like to indulge in mass gambling.

In my opinion, there are a lot of coins that say they will beat bitcoin with certainty and after a span of time they are trapped deep beneath it. There are many reasons why bitcoin will be crypto Noise 1 for a very long time. One is the high demand every time the price drops and some potential loyal holders who do not let it fall in a bad market period. There must be some tokens that come and solve some problems that start with bitcoin like slow and expensive transfers but bitcoin just at the top.
Its very hard to beat bitcoin which already has a lot of followers and fans. Despite that many new investor likely to choose bitcoin then any other coins. Bitcoin are more reliable and already has its own value.
There is another ICO coin that advertises itself as the next bitcoin as well - 4new.I don't see how any of these coins can replace bitcoins when in all exchanges BTC is the main trading pair vs alts. Even ETH trading pairs have less liquidity although it is available in most exchanges. So until they manage to do that then maybe there are still inferior to BTC.
I believe it won't happen, since it started no one else trying to surpass bitcoin and having that statement you must have a true proof for it and I think this month bitcoin will increase again it's price so better to add some coin to your wallet and not making a discussion about bitcoin that will your coin gonna beat the famous bitcoin.
I think the fluidledger is just talking nonsense without giving valid proof. Until now there has been no coin that beat bitcoin like what is discussed by fluidledger. I'm sure Bitcoin will survive being number one for a long time.
This is a hoax and i know that bitcoin will be above all, it it unstable right now but soon i know that it will be stable but for now i believe that it will never beat bitcoin because it is the mother of all coins
I think it's impossible because the first coin bitcoin is there, and the other altcoin will not be able to pass the other Altcoin bitcoin just trigger the bitcoin which is now down the priceand bitcoin is already believed by the whole world hence the bitcoin is the parent of all Altcoin

Well I don't really think so that it will gonna happen right now because despite the current market situation in the crypto world today Bitcoin still stands in the top as of this very moment and many of those good alt coins and crypto currencies out their are already failing on their promises due to their markets value are stumbling down and I'm sure that it will include the alt coin that will gonna beat bitcoin. So you can see clearly now that whatever happens in the crypto world market Bitcoin will always be there in the top when the rest of those alt coins are bleeding out.

I think it's scam! Many promising coins, for example https://goo.gl/ENu9CL but Bitcoin is unique. I think no coin can outperform Bitcoin
All coins will say that they can beat Bitcoin to increase their sales, but no one will believe, even a strong coin such as eth or xrp, so if some new coin claims that it can beat bitcoine, just ignore it, a good coin will do it
