I think Bitcoin cannot defeat of any altcoin or cryptos' right now and for the coming years. Its because, the status of bitcoin now is stable and very strongest. Also bitcoin is the most popular coin/currency right now and investor are always looking on it.Altcoin is created to defeat bitcoin but in the reality bitcoin cannot defeated of any of it. Because, the reason is, altcoin is a splitted coin from bitcoin. Notice that all altcoin is transferable to bitcoin because the reality is, bitcoin is the origin of all coins

I highly doubt that will ever happen. The altcoins out right now like Ripple and Ethereum will never surpass Bitcoin in my opinion. Anytime you hear about crypto its always Bitcoin and how it skyrocketed in price and make people millionaires so the new people out there will flock to Bitcoin.

Even me I can disagree on what you just said about the question because many alts before up to now are trying to beat bitcoin but no one succeed it to defeat it.

Well definitely for investments sake yes... the amount you would have to put in to get a decent return on bitcoin would be immense now... I would invest a smaller amount of money into new alts and ICO's for maximum returns after +6 months etc.. We have already seen this with ripple ...

I don't think so. This alt coin is too suspicious. They don't even tried to make a proper bounty program for this ICO. For the past 10 months joining in bounties I didn't saw bounties that states "Please submit your proposal for our consideration telling us how many tokens/coins you would like. You can see and read the PDF yourself here: http://www.bitcoinfuji.com/bounty/ . I would recommend to stay away from it.
