Yes, of course, new sites, such as altcointalk, Cryptotalk and others, have their own design, but the main points are still copied from Bitcoin. I believe that the creators of these resources were several years late, because in my opinion the forums were created as a business project in order to get the opportunity to receive income thanks to new projects, unlike bitcointalk, which is the center of the cryptocurrency user community, which broadcasts cryptocurrency information. And since ico companies and Bounty companies had very strong activity in 2016 and 2017, then in those days these sites might have had good results, but today in this business more and more attention is paid to credibility, and bitcointalk has a lot more.

Have you guys seen https://de-fi.co ?

What are your thoughts?

No better than cryptotalk.org (even though I'm not a user) who offers money every post that is made.

If it's your website, then you should be careful to say that it's a clone of the Bitcointalk forum. If you try to trick users of this forum like bitcointalk.to with malicious purposes, then we will report your site.

There are many crypto forums are available, some are almost similar to bitcointalk, but no one cloned of it. You may have a look at Altcointalk, Litecointalk, Bitcoingarden, Cryptotalk and so on for better knowledge.
What do you mean by "similar to bitcointalk"? None of the forums you mentioned has any similarity to bitcointalk forum. I already have accounts in all of them.
Best knowledge is here in btt. There is no doubts.

I misused the world clone. Clearly the site de-fi.co is not a clone.
Just curious, is Bitcoin domain flipping still profitable?
It is but it's so hard to acquire a domain with the word Bitcoin on it, it's like some guy or company has taken the business of acquiring every domain that has the word Bitcoin on it, good luck on finding a domain if you find some you can flip it and make money by offering it on Cryptocurrency forums.
What if some guy/company actually did bother themselves buying every bitcoin related domain for instance during 2017-18 btc boom just like a long term investment
it makes so much sense now
It's not that profitable if someone willing to buy all domains with the word bitcoin which would cost a lot of money.

So far I have not seen any Bitcoin clone now, where all the contents are very similar to Bitcointalk, but we must be all aware that in the past there were a lot of Bitcointalk clone and so many members accounts were hacked, so better check if you are landing on the right Bitcointalk.

It's pretty much a hit or miss. You won't know if someone's even going to offer or just opt for another one. Unlike those reputable brands like Microsoft and Sony which have a defined named for their products.

About how many there were, there will be more forums for the blockchain industry! Of course, the main indicator is activity. And everything else is a derivative of activity. If a forum without proper activity suits its creator, then it has completely different goals than those that it announced.

I guess OP do not understand the word clone, in the past so many forums are cloning Bitcointalk some of them are phishing and there are still some developers trying to clone Bitcointalk because they want to hack members with high rank but unfortunately for them only newbies fall to this phishing site not high ranked members.

How is it a Bitcointalk clone? It's just one of your typical cryptocurrency forums; not every cryptocurrency forum is a Bitcointalk clone.
moreover bitcointalk wasn't the first one afaik, but it pulled the blanket on itself at some point so more and more users came along the way

Yeah and I think the price ticker is pretty cool. I haven't been on here in a few days and was surprised to see this thread had a bunch of comments. I saw a post about it on 4chan /biz and just didn't know if you guys had heard about it or used it.  Apparently now they have a $50 contest, look at the screencap: https://imgur.com/a/anp5DSc

So you went full shilling mode!
I could spend a week browsing around searching for websites and this crap wouldn't pop in my results but you somehow found it and it resembles bitcointalk  Grin Grin
Common, just admit it yours, you have plans to sell it, and you tried it at least once and be done with it.

You may have a look at Altcointalk, Litecointalk, Bitcoingarden, Cryptotalk and so on for better knowledge.

I don't know how you can say it is a clone of Bitcointalk, nothing is close to Bitcointalk. Maybe you haven't seen any other crypto-related forum except Bitcointalk. Yeah, when we do talk about cloning then it should really looks like the same but this one doesnt really looks like bitcoin, maybe he do
mean about being a crypto forum and as you said there were lots of them already but none of them do able to get toe to toe into this
forum if we do based up on traffic. It cant be beat down easily on a place where the bitcoin creator had made. Its not bad for them to
start up a new forum though but they should know that beating up this one is almost impossible.

Their administrator is named Satoshi, I gotta go there and shake hands myself after registering.
The forum will be one of the forum who will just be there as an alternative but might not be visited but will be filled with spam since they allow guests. Most of the contents are from guests.

I found only few users that is in there and also in here with the same username.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bellerophon-917247

Tell you. Domains with hyperlink aren't liked by search engines. Don't ask why, I have no idea

Have you guys seen https://de-fi.co ?

What are your thoughts?

Clone how this become a clone it's using a different script it's not an SMF script and they did not copy categories coming from Bitcointalk, this is very much different I think OP do not understand the words "clone", in the past there are forums that are created to clone Bitcointalk.

yeah on the past but even until now there are sites that are much worster than this one where they copy the whole concept of bitcointalk from the script , categories , also they conduct pay to post but thier rates were only lower and i think no one can beat the pay rate existed on this forum .

thats one of the reason why users on here cant move anywhere which makes bitcointalk still the number one crypto/bitcoin forum .

Lol at his username: satosh!n@kamoto
I know we are running out of decent bitcoin domains, but are we also running out of satoshi nicknames here on bitcointalk?

We cannot rule out the possibility of the real Satoshi, that guy's identity is shrouded in mystery
