The April Fool's tradition was born in France in the 1500s and then spread to Europe. This is the story of French origin: until 1500, the first day of the year in France was March 25 and the celebrations culminated on April 1 with banquets and exchanges of gifts. But in 1564 King Charles IX decided to adopt the Gregorian calendar, and to move the new year to January 1st. Some subjects, however, did not accept the change, and soon their fellow citizens began to mock the custom and every year, on the occasion of April 1st, they sent the "traditionalists" hoax gifts or invited them to ghost parties. And since the sun leaves the Pisces astrological sign at that time of year, the victims of the jokes were called "April Fools."

Damn! Theymos doesn't disappoint on every Fool Anniversary. Today's anniversary nearly got me as I had forgotten the usual theymos ritual until I started seeing almost everyone having the "suspected spammer" warning thing.
So, my captcha is to collect 52 coins to post 🙄 when I can't even jump two hurdles. Well, maybe next time OP should give us another video game as Captcha instead of Mario. Mario is a difficult kid to please.

Yes this might be part of April Fool but this one is really a good idea if implemented.
Right now the CAPTCHA is in beta testing, so it only shows a warning banner for likely spammers, but in 2 weeks everyone who fails the CAPTCHA will be immediately banned, so you'd better get used to it!
Really! This is the poorest April in the forum calendar :-DThe fun part was, having to game but couldn't tell if I was making any progress except, flying into the distance with the coins only appearing when I try a trick. A more supermario game would have been fun and some means to kill time.
